Ani referred to me as his friend while talking to his cat, so I guess that finally clears things up. He also took me home after spending a grand total of an hour and 10 minutes with me tonight because he needed to buy pot which he could have done all day but he chose not to and to nap instead. Might be time to redownload the dating apps, it’s clear I’m just a booty call and like I’ve suspected for a while now just his rebound fuck after dumping his long term girlfriend. I suppose we can just be friends with benefits though, he is a good lay so I guess that counts for something. To say I’m disappointed and hurt is a huge understatement but at least I know where I stand now, there’s some comfort in that.

Denny is taking up the whole bed and snuggling me in an attempt to make me feel better after my shitty boyfriend not boyfriend fell asleep/ghosted me when we were supposed to go out tonight. I wasted beautifully even eyeliner and snail mucus soft skin on the medical assistant who gave me my Hep A and B booster today. Plus side I got the cutest Syzoth plushie from an artist on Twitter today that I will hopefully take pictures of tomorrow, Denny naturally tried to steal him because what do you mean not all plushies are his?

Updates: my skin doesn’t feel any smoother or more moisturized snail mucus lied to me! NFL wise my QB went to Minnesota 😭 While I’m thrilled for JJ getting drafted in the first round I’m a Detroit girlie and while the Lions don’t need a QB it’s always nice to see the boys stay home.

You know you’re a total skin care noob when you have to go to Reddit to find out how long to leave a face mask on. 🫣 I just naturally have immaculate skin, it’s my trade off from the universe for having heart problems from birth so I’ve never taken care of it, but being in a new relationship/situationship makes me want to take better care of my skin. Is it silly and vain, yeah maybe but who gives a shit, I’m 40 now it’s about time I at least moisturize or something right? I think a big reason I have no skin problems despite not taking care of it is I don’t wear foundation or powder just eye makeup, so maybe a pro tip there? I don’t know don’t listen to me about beauty tips I’m a dinosaur what do I know lol Point aside my reinvesting in my health made me what to focus on the external as well as the internal and I’ve never used a face mask before, I have a lot from Korea from my ex (Rabbit for those who know me well) so I figured I’d go ahead and use them, while I watch the NFL draft later because fuck gender norms lol
