New TS4 Legacy Challenge
Tumblr media
Unlike my base game legacy (found here), this legacy challenge goes through a whole bunch of packs. It is obviously pizza themed, and I had a lot of fun putting it together.
This challenge really requires you to start off as a teen, because your first step is getting accepted into one of the prestigious degree programs. You can cheat the skills needed to obtain this if you must, but it's more fun starting as a teen anyway. It's also meant to be played in order, as the generations are heavily influenced by the generation preceding it.
If you'd like a pdf version of this for tracking rules/requirements, you can find it here. Otherwise, check out the details below!
Generation 1: Margherita - The Traveler
You’ve always wanted to explore the world and learn everything you can about, well, everything. You attend university and get all the awards, and then spend your life traveling to exotic locales and soaking up as much as you can. Some say your wandering spirit is exhausting, but you wouldn’t live your life any other way.
Tasks:
Get accepted into a prestigious degree program
Graduate with honors
Unlock all hidden locations in Selvadorada
Go to Batuu
Go hiking in Mt. Komorebi & take pictures at the shrine
Max Selvadoradian Culture skill
Learn all the recipes from the San Myshuno food stalls
World: San Myshuno – start off in a cheap apartment, but you can upgrade when you make more money. Bonus points if you decorate with collectibles from your travels!
Career: Freelancer (your choice of specialty)
Aspiration: City Native & Archaeology Scholar
Children: 1 biological (parent is from Selvadorada – up to you if you marry them or not), and 1 adopted
Traits: Adventurous, Foodie, Genius
Skills: Archaeology, Photography, Selvadoradian Culture, Research & Debate
Generation 2: Pepperoni - Total Traditionalist
You lived your life bouncing around from place to place, and you’re ready for some stability. You’re grateful for the experiences you’ve had, but hate that you never really had lifelong friends or a hometown. Once you have kids, you’re constantly bickering with your parents about the best way to raise them – they believe that you need to show them the world, and you think the value of a steady lifestyle is just as important. You’re not really a fan of spontaneity, but sometimes old habits just die hard.
Tasks:
Have 3 children (doesn’t matter if biological or adopted)
Have a routine and stick to it (example: you always meet with your bowling club on Thursdays, go to the gym every Tuesday, and have dinner as a family at 6 pm every night)
Have a family tradition (tip – use the Seasons calendar for this)
Have an affair in adulthood
Have a low relationship with your parent(s) after the birth of your first child
Reach at least level 8 in parenting
Optional: go to university
World: Willow Creek, Oasis Springs, or Newcrest
Career: Business or Salaryperson
Aspiration: Big Happy Family
Children: 3
Traits: Gloomy, Neat, Snob
Skills: Parenting, Bowling, Piano
Generation 3: Hawaiian - Funky & a little fresh
Growing up, you were always closest to your grandparent. Your parents weren’t really interested in travel and exploration, but you’ve always been fascinated by your grandparent’s stories. In fact, you think those stories really need to be told, and you want to be the one to do it. Hearing them talk about their life inspires you to have a little adventure of your own.
Tasks:
Get to know all the locals & marry a townie.
Write books to supplement your income. Once you unlock the autobiography, write one about your grandparent.
Visit your grandparent at least once a week (or have them visit you).
Clean up Sulani and see the turtles hatch at least once
Attend all the Sulani festivals you can
Snorkel & befriend a dolphin
Lead at least one yoga class on the beach
World: Sulani
Career: Conservationist (as much as you love writing, you think having it as a job would kill your passion. That being said, you wouldn’t mind if one of your books got super famous and let you retire
).
Aspiration: Bestselling Author
Children: at least one child
Traits: Child of the Islands, Creative, Outgoing
Skills: Writing, Fishing, Wellness
Generation 4: Veggie Lover's - Going Green
You loved growing up in Sulani and always felt so connected to nature. You prefer plants to people most days, and love spending time in your extensive garden. You’ve always wanted to experience actual seasons, however, so you bid a bittersweet farewell to your hometown and move to a small cottage by the sea.
Tasks:
Have a large garden
Marry a townie
Go all out for the major holidays (Harvestfest, Spooky Day, Winterfest)
Take at least 2 vacations in Granite Falls
Grow a cowplant or a death flower
Optional: build a community garden in your world and name it after yourself or your family
World: Brindleton Bay – must be by the water
Career: Floral Arrangement
Aspiration: Freelance Botanist
Children: at least 2 children
Traits: Loves the Outdoors, Bookworm, Socially Awkward
Skills: Gardening, Baking
Generation 5: Meat Lover's - All about the Protein
You’ve always been a very active sim, mostly because playing outside and running around was such a large part of your youth. You love your hometown, but when an opportunity arises to play professionally somewhere else, you can’t pass it up. You have fun and enjoy being such a big success, but as you get older you start missing home more and more. You decide to say goodbye to the high life and move back home to open a gym.
Tasks:
Have a best friend in childhood and throughout teen years. Drift apart when you move.
Reach at least fame level 3
Build a gym in your hometown when you move back
Have at least 1 dog
Have at least 1 child out of wedlock
Marry as YA, but must divorce. Get married to the love of your life when you move back home in adulthood (childhood friend) and have another child.
World: Move to Del Sol Valley as YA and live there until adulthood. Then move back to Brindleton Bay.
Career: Professional Athlete
Aspiration: Bodybuilder
Children: At least 2 children
Traits: Active, Bro, Dog Lover
Skills: Fitness, Mixology, Pet Training
Generation 6: Supreme - Jack of all Trades, Master of None
Inspired by stories of your ancestors, you decide you want to experience all life has to offer. But instead of feeling like an inspirational globe-trotter, you feel more like a lost soul. Nothing you try really ever agrees with you, and you’ve never been fully able to decide what you want to do with your life. Settling down terrifies you, because you always feel like you’ll miss out on the next best thing. You finally find your niche in adulthood, but the road was definitely not easy.
Tasks:
Try out 3 wildly different styles in high school (example: nerdy phase, preppy phase, skater phase)
Have an after-school job in high school
Travel to Selvadorada but don’t buy any preparation gear (you’re always woefully unprepared). End up cutting the vacation short and going back home.
Have 2 failed serious relationships before marriage
Don’t marry until adulthood
Have enough satisfaction points to buy the re-traiting potion in adulthood
World: You start off in 1 of the 3 worlds that you didn’t pick for Generation 2, but end up moving to StrangerVille after hearing some interesting stories.
Career: you can pick the first 2, but you end up in the military career.
Aspiration: Renaissance Sim, then StrangerVille Mystery
Children: at least 1 child
Traits: Noncommittal, Squeamish, Lazy. Take re-traiting potion in adulthood and remove noncommittal and lazy. You can replace them with whatever you want. Leave squeamish (you’ve finally accepted that a life of jungle-trekking is not for you).
Skills: Fitness, Logic
Generation 7: Buffalo Chicken - A Slightly Spicy Life
Watching your parent take so long to figure out their life made you certain that you would never make the same mistakes. You’ve always known what you wanted, and will do whatever it takes to get there. Life has a funny way of throwing surprises at you, though, and sometimes it ends up being for the best.
Tasks:
Be involved in an after-school activity or club related to your future career
Go to university in a degree related to the field that you want to work in
While in university, either you or your SO gets pregnant
Drop out of university when you realize you can’t manage parenthood on top of your full schedule
Work part-time until your baby becomes a child, then go back to school
Graduate with honors and join the career you’ve always wanted
After a few promotions, you realize that you hate it and miss being a parent and a spouse. Quit your job and spend the rest of your time making money by skill (you can choose, but it must be a money-making skill, not an actual job)
When your kid becomes a teen, surprise them with a vacation to Mt. Komorebi
Stay with the parent of your child(ren) for your whole life (they’re your soulmate, even if they did completely derail your career plans)
World: Choose from – 1 of the 3 you didn’t choose in Gen. 2 or 5, Britechester, Copperdale, Tartosa, Henford-on-Bagley, Windenburg
Career: Your choice, but must strive for this starting at childhood (i.e. actor takes drama classes, scientist takes STEM or chess)
Aspiration: Academic (DO NOT FINISH, put on hold when you drop out) > Soulmate > Academic
Children: At least 1 child
Traits: Ambitious, Overachiever, Family-Oriented
Skills: Charisma, Research & Debate
Generation 8: BBQ Chicken Bacon - A Little Experimental
You’ve always appreciated how your parents sacrificed so much to give you a good upbringing, even putting their own dreams on hold so that you could have a happy childhood. They’ve given you freedom to explore your own dreams, and once you find some success you want to pay them back somehow. A trip to Mt. Komorebi on your teen birthday made you fall in love with the town and the food scene, and you decide to move there as a young adult.
Tasks:
Gain at least 1 level of fame
Spend at least $20,000 of your own money to renovate your parents house or move them to a nicer house (you can use money cheats to decrease your funds)
Get to at least level 8 of skiing, snowboarding, or rock-climbing
Finish an expedition to the top of the mountain
Woohoo in the cave on the mountain
Optional: open a restaurant
World: Mt. Komorebi
Career: Chef
Aspiration: Mt. Komorebi Sightseer
Children: At least 2 children
Traits: Good, Art Lover (if your parent was a painter, have some of their works hanging in your house. Otherwise, have some of your own), Self-Assured
Skills: Skiing, Snowboarding or Rock-climbing; Cooking; Painting (if your parent was not a painter)
Generation 9: Cheese - No Room for Mistakes
Growing up with a semi-famous parent taught you the value of networking and people skills. In the real world, it’s not what you know, but who you know, and you mean to take every advantage of the connections you already have. Using those connections as leverage, you want to become an influential politician and devote your life to bettering your community. You’re not very humble, and you can be tad materialistic, but your real friends know that you have everyone’s best interests at heart
 deep down, at least.
Tasks:
Live in a suburban house with a white picket fence
Steal from your own campaign fund at least once
Graduate from university
Have a party at least once a week
Have a dog (bonus points if it’s a golden retriever)
Your spouse has an affair and you find out. Stay with them to avoid the scandal.
Do not have a close relationship with your children.
World: Any world not used in Gen. 6
Career: Politician
Aspiration: Party Animal
Children: 2 biological children (any more must be adopted. Obviously you’ll broadcast the adoption for good PR)
Traits: Materialistic, Self-Absorbed, Insider
Generation 10: Calzone - Different, but still Great
The black sheep. You’ve always been expected to be great, and do great things, but that’s never really interested you. Your parents’ constant need to keep up with the Jones’es was exhausting, and you hate the façade. You get into some trouble as a kid, but ultimately turn it around and mend fences.
Tasks:
Have a major goth or emo phase in high school
Reach at least level 7 in handiness & mischief
In adulthood, successfully make your neighborhood green
Cheat on your high school SO and your young adult SO. Either you or your SO gets pregnant as a young adult, but you abandon the child.
Make amends with your child in adulthood (your ex isn’t so forgiving, but maybe in elder-hood you can be friends)
If you marry, marry in adulthood. It cannot be one of your exes.
Have a negative relationship with your parents as a teen and throughout your YA years. Up to you if you want to mend the relationship in adulthood.
Turn at least one of your enemies into your best friend in adulthood.
World: Evergreen Harbor
Career: Criminal as YA, then Civil Design in adulthood
Children: at least 1 child
Traits: Mean, Vegetarian, Maker
Skills: Handiness, Mischief, Charisma

BASE GAME LEGACY
This legacy challenge is meant for those with only the base game. No DLC is required for this playthrough, and it aims to explore all facets of the base game. I tried to make each generation as unique as possible, and hopefully you even discover something new!
Want a PDF of the rules/tasks for keeping track? Click here.
Rules
Start out with $20K and purchase the largest plot of land you can find. (Oasis Springs: Acquisition Butte, Willow Creek: Oakenstead, Newcrest: Twin Oracle Point). You can start off in any of the base game worlds.
No money cheats are allowed, but I do encourage moving houses after each generation. Moving will also serve to keep household funds low, especially if you're buying and furnishing a new house every generation.
The life span should be set to normal.
There are no heir restrictions, though I recommend sticking with a theme (strict matriarchy, strict patriarchy, alternating, first born, etc.).
You can use cheats to obtain the reward traits from the beginning. If not using cheats, try to get them as soon as possible.
Generation 1: Good for Nothing
You grew up alone in the world, and had to do a lot of things you aren’t necessarily proud of to ensure your survival. You’re no stranger to petty thievery, and you’re pretty good at keeping your head down and staying in the shadows. Someone does notice, though – Nancy Landgraab. She seeks you out, and offers you a job with her crew; she needs some muscle, and someone who won’t be noticed. In exchange for your loyalty and silence, she offers you some spare acreage and a cash advance to build yourself a home. You can’t imagine ever getting a better opportunity, so you take the offer and establish your homestead. It turns out that a life of crime suits you, and you eventually rise through the ranks.
World: Any base game world.
Traits: Kleptomaniac, Loner, Mean
Reward Traits: Observant
Career: Criminal
Aspiration: Public Enemy
Skills: Mischief, Fitness
Lot Traits: Private Dwelling
Tasks:
Befriend Nancy Landgraab.
Your original $20K was half from savings, and half from Nancy. Pay her back $10K as soon as you have the funds. (You can use money cheats for this).
Reach the top of the Criminal career, either branch.
Max the Mischief skill.
Never marry, but you can have as many casual relationships as you’d like. Keep in mind that this sim is a loner, and probably not a Casanova. They’re not opposed to a little recreation with fellow criminals, though. Your child(ren) can be either adopted or natural born.
Cause the death of at least 2 sims.
Have at least 3 tattoos.
Befriend the Grim Reaper.
Complete the Public Enemy aspiration.
Have a secret room or basement for your criminal enterprise.
You must be a single parent. Other sims can move in with you, but never for longer than a week.
Optional: Have an affair with Nancy.
Generation 2: Good at Everything
You ever hear the term ‘wasted potential’ used to describe somebody? You ever hear it used to describe yourself? All your life, you’ve been able to pick up new skills fast. You’re a quick learner with a quick wit, and your parent always told you that you’d have a better life someday. But having a criminal for a parent doesn’t exactly open a lot of doors. Your classes in school are boring, so you don’t see the point in going, and you’re not at one of those places with teachers who actually care about their students and want to see them succeed. You’re prone to bouts of moodiness when you think about how your life could have been different, so you spend the majority of your time drowning your thoughts in music to escape.
World: Any base game world
Traits: Gloomy, Music Lover, Slob
Reward Traits: Savant
Career: Entertainer
Aspiration: Musical Genius
Skills: Any instrument
Lot Traits: Great Acoustics
Tasks:
As a teen, reach level 6 in at least one instrument.
As a teen, skip at least 5 days of school.
As a teen, never do your homework.
Max any instrument skill, and reach at least level 7 in another instrument skill.
Complete the Musical Genius aspiration.
Skip at least 4 days of work (these can be spread out).
Get demoted or fired at least once.
Never clean anything in your house. When you have children, they can clean, but you don’t mind living in filth.
Never have more than $5K at a time. Whenever you have excess funds, buy something lavish and unnecessary (new hot tub, anyone?).
You do not need to reach the top of the Musician career branch in the Entertainer career. Honestly, it makes more sense if you don’t.
Get divorced at least once.
Your children/partners can cook for you, but you can only make: grilled cheese, mac & cheese, eggs & toast, BLTs, pancakes, and spaghetti.
Bonus: Complete the Grilled Cheese aspiration.
Generation 3: Turning it Around
Your family lineage isn’t exactly anything to be proud of. The family motto seems to be “if it’s not easy, it’s not meant to be” and everyone seems happy to live by it. But you’re different. You watched your parent struggle with their lack of success, and you want to show them that things don’t have to be so hard all the time. You want to be successful, and you’ll do anything to get there.
World: Any base game world.
Traits: Ambitious, Neat, Self-Assured
Reward Traits: Entrepreneurial
Career: Business
Aspiration: Fabulously Wealthy
Skills: Charisma
Lot Traits: Convivial
Tasks:
Join an after-school activity or have a part-time job.
Graduate high school with at least honors.
As a teen, have regular ‘study dates’ at the library.
Have a side hustle – this can be any hobby that makes money.
Reach the top of the business career, either branch.
Complete the Fabulously Wealthy aspiration.
Get married and have at least 2 children.
Your children must all have the Top-Notch Infant & Top-Notch Toddler traits.
Always help your children with their homework and any school projects.
Have an in-law suite, guest house, or guest room in your home.
Have a separate office.
Each child should have their own room.
When your parent ages to an elder, have them move in with you. You know they’re not going to take care of themselves

Generation 4: Follow YOUR Dreams
Hearing the stories of how your parent came from nothing and worked hard to achieve their dreams was always an inspiration to you, but you always felt like you got along better with your grandparent. You were ecstatic when they moved in, and they always encouraged you to follow your heart. Your parents wanted you to go to university and get a practical career, but you’ve always been happiest playing sports. Much to your parents’ chagrin, you join the athletic career right out of high school and are determined to make a name for yourself as a professional athlete.
World: Any base game world
Traits: Active, Bro, Outgoing
Reward Traits: Gym Rat
Career: Athlete
Aspiration: Bodybuilder
Skills: Fitness, Fishing
Lot Traits: Bracing Breezes
Tasks:
Max both mental and motor skills as a child.
Have at least a ‘Good Friends’ relationship with your grandparent once they move in.
As a teen, have an argument with your parents at least once a week.
In high school, throw a pool party for you and your friends. This can be either at a community lot or your home pool, if you have one.
Get married to your high school sweetheart.
Have at least 5 successful dates with your spouse.
Reach the top of the athlete career (either branch).
Max the fitness skill and complete the Bodybuilder aspiration.
Go fishing once a week, and reach at least level 7 of the fishing skill.
Have a brief affair as an adult. Your spouse does not find out, but your child must somehow witness one of the interactions.
Travel to Sylvan Glade in Willow Creek and fish in the pond.
Bonus: Complete the Anglin’ Ace Aspiration.
Generation 5: Master of the Arts
Your parents always encouraged you to follow your dreams, and you admired their picture-perfect relationship. One day, you caught your parent cheating, and it was like your entire world shifted. You were asked to keep it secret, and you’ve harbored guilt for it ever since. You find that the best way to express yourself is through painting and photography, but you have difficulties controlling your emotions and it lasts through adulthood. You are reluctant to let anyone get close, because you don’t want to be made a fool of if they end up cheating on you. You make a name for yourself in the art world, and decide that your lack of romantic companionship won’t stop you from carrying on the family name, and you decide to adopt a child (or have a science baby). Their purity and innocence inspires you to be better, and you strive to be the best parent you can be.
World: Any base game world
Traits: Hot-Headed, Creative, Noncommittal
Reward Traits: Creative Visionary
Career: N/A, make money by selling paintings and photographs
Aspiration: Painter Extraordinaire
Skills: Painting, Photography
Lot Traits: Child’s Play
Tasks:
Complete the creativity aspiration as a child.
As a teen, have a ‘photo wall’ in your bedroom. Take one photo every day in a different location for a week, and display the photos in your room.
Have a negative relationship with your parent after you catch them cheating.
Max the painting and photography skills.
Never marry or enter a serious relationship. Casual relationships are okay.
Adopt a child or have a science baby.
Repair the relationship with your parent when they are an elder.
After obtaining your child, purchase a re-traiting potion from the rewards store and swap hot-headed for a different trait.
Your child must obtain the Top Notch Infant and Top Notch Toddler traits.
Go to the museum to paint once a week.
Generation 6: Space Explorer
Your parent was a dreamer with their head in the clouds, but you’ve always been a bit more grounded. Fascinated by space, your goal is to one day actually reach the stars and see what’s out there. Spending all your time on another planet is detrimental to some of your relationships, and you’re faced with a tough decision. You can’t bear the thought of missing out on regular space missions, but you don’t want to lose everyone you care about either. Can you find a healthy medium, or will you be forced to sacrifice one dream for another?
World: Any base game world
Traits: Bookworm, Perfectionist, Genius
Reward Traits: Independent
Career: Astronaut
Aspiration: Nerd Brain
Skills: Logic, Rocket Science
Lot Traits: Science Lair
Tasks:
As a child, have a telescope and use it at least 3 nights a week.
As a child, complete the Mental aspiration.
As a child, make a best friend. As a teenager, have a falling out with them.
Make amends with your childhood friend as a young adult.
Complete the Space Prints collection.
WooHoo in a rocket ship.
Max the Logic and Rocket Science skills.
Grind to max logic and rocket science, and take as many space missions as possible. While you are in the middle of this grind, your spouse must have an affair. It is up to you whether you forgive them and promise to spend more time with them, or end the relationship and throw yourself even further into rocket science/space missions.
Have at least 2 children.
Reach the top level of the Astronaut career.
Generation 7: All About Food
Your childhood definitely had some rough patches in regards to your parents’ relationship, but you never let that get you down. Some people may think of you as overly positive, but you can’t help it if things just don’t bother you the way they bother other people. You loved cooking for your family as a child, and decide that your dream is to work with food forever. Your parents warned you that monetizing your hobby would make you hate it, but you enter the culinary career and never regret it. You consider yourself extremely blessed, and though you’re a little more accident-prone than most and may accidentally start a fire or two, you wouldn’t have your life any other way.
World: Any base game world.
Traits: Foodie, Cheerful, Clumsy
Reward Traits: Frugal
Career: Culinary
Aspiration: Master Chef
Skills: Cooking, Gourmet Cooking
Lot Traits: Homey
Tasks:
As a child/teen, cook with or for your parents as often as possible.
Introduce yourself to your neighbors with a gift of a home-cooked meal.
As an adult, cook all the meals for your family. You can invite family members to cook with you.
Reach the top of the Culinary career (Chef branch).
Max the cooking and gourmet cooking skills.
Have a Fire Prevention System Utility Panel in your home, near the kitchen.
Make the kitchen the star of your home. Go all out with appliances and features.
Throw at least 3 parties that center around cooking. (Get creative – have a regular dinner party, host a cookout
)
Bake a cake and your child’s favorite meal for each of their birthdays. (You’ll have to use your imagination for their favorite meal).
Cook the High Energy Protein Plate (Energized Emotion), Silly Gummy Bear Pancakes (Playful Emotion), Flirty Heart Cookies (Flirty Emotion), and Angry Flaming Spaghetti (Angry Emotion).
Generation 8: Lost in Cyberspace
Growing up, you always loved hearing the stories of your grandparent’s adventures in space. Leaving the planet sounds like a little too much adventure for you, but you’re totally cool with having those expeditions in the safety of video games and books. For a while, your parents are concerned with the amount of time you spend on your computer, but when your hobby starts bringing in extra income, they realize that the internet is the future. You can code anything, hack anything, and beat any level of any video game, and you can’t believe that you actually get to make a living doing what you love. Your spouse is as nerdy as you are, and the two of you know that you can conquer the (virtual) world as long as you’re together.
World: Any base game world
Traits: Geek, Glutton, Goofball
Reward Traits: Night Owl
Career: Tech Guru
Aspiration: Computer Whiz
Skills: Programming, Video Gaming
Lot Traits: Fast Internet
Tasks:
As a child, max the mental and motor skills.
As a teen, reach at least level 4 in the programming skill. Make at least 3 plugins, and hack something 4 times.

Make at least 2 computer games.
Compete in at least 3 Professional Gaming Tournaments.
Have a game room in your home.
Have a weekly game night with your family.
Reach the top of the Tech Guru career (either branch).
Complete the Computer Whiz aspiration.
Generation 9: 007
You always enjoyed playing video games with your parents, and your favorites were the ones where you got to play as a secret agent. As you get older, you’re not as into the video games, but you still desperately want to live the life of a secret agent, full James Bond style. You’re a little prone to materialism, so you try to stay centered by getting outdoors as often as possible.
World: Any base game world.
Traits: Loves Outdoors, Art Lover, Materialistic
Reward Traits: Antiseptic
Career: Secret Agent
Aspiration: Mansion Baron
Skills: Charisma, Logic
Lot Traits: Private Dwelling
Tasks:
As a child, complete the Motor aspiration.
Get outdoors at least twice a week. You can do anything you want, but you must remain outside for at least 3 hours at a time.
Complete the Mansion Baron aspiration.
Reach the top level of the Secret Agent Career, Diamond Agent branch.
Have a secret room or basement that functions as your office.
Do not get married until you are an adult. You can have a child whenever you want.
Have an outdoor wedding.
Have at least 2 enemies.
Have at least a ‘Good Friends’ relationship with your grandparent and parents.
Have all the latest tech – your TV is the nicest available, your fridge is the most expensive, etc.
Have an ‘extra’ room in your house (examples: gym, library, sauna, home theater
).
Your spouse must max Handiness and discover the Forgotten Grotto in Oasis Springs. Go fishing at the pond there with your spouse.
Optional: Complete the Serial Romantic aspiration in addition to Mansion Baron.
Generation 10: The Archivist
As a class project, you were tasked with recording your family’s genealogy. The more you discovered, the more fascinated you became. You feel like the world needs to hear their stories, and you decide that you’ll be the one to share them. When you’re not out in the garden, you can be found holed up at your desk, fingers flying over the keyboard as you document your family history. Your spouse thinks you’re a little obsessed, but they love that about you anyway. You dream of living a life that measures up to your predecessors, and can only hope that one day someone will write about you in the same way.
World: Any base game world
Traits: Romantic, Lazy, Erratic
Reward Traits: Great Kisser, Professional Slacker
Career: Writer
Aspiration: Bestselling Author, Soulmate
Skills: Writing, Gardening
Lot Traits: Natural Light
Tasks:
Write a book for each previous generation. The name of the book must be related to the generation.
Have at least a ‘Good Friends’ relationship with all of your living relatives.
Host a successful family reunion. (This event is only available with the Growing Together expansion. You can get creative with an event like a Dinner or House party, just invite as many relatives as possible).
Reach the top level of the Writer career, either branch.
Complete the Bestselling Author and Soulmate aspirations. You can work on these concurrently.
Have a garden with at least 10 different plants.
Have a cowplant.
Bonus: Become a PlantSim.
