His shoulders slumped, flowers dropping a few inches away from Nadja.

Billy knocked softly, still murmuring to himself a little.

He got off the bus another several blocks away from Nadja's apartment building, walking into a shop with his hood back up to buy some flowers. He spent ages picking which ones would be best. During this time, he was full of anxiety ticks, biting his nails and murmuring to himself. He finally picked out a nice bouquet and paid for them with cash, making his way to Nadjas door step.

He straighted out his hoodie, pulled his hood down, and stood there a moment, practicing what he'd say to her before knocking on the door.

Billy made his way out onto the street, hood pulled up, and strings tightened a little around his mask. Every huff of air echoed in his ears, and he ran away from the sound of the police cars.

He ran a few blocks, panting, taking every twist and turn he could and made his way to a bus stop. When the bus pulled up Billy got in, walking oast the bus driver with no aknowledgement. The friver looked at him, scolding eyes and threw his hands up betore shaking his head and murmering, "ah whatever" and waved it off.

Billy pulled his hood down and took his mask off, revealing scars across his face. He looked out the window as the buss moved off, police cars driving past, sirens blazing. His hands were still shaking as he pulled a piece of paper from his pocket. It was torn from Dr. Dumont's files. On it an address... Nadja's address. He read it over and over again like it would disappear.

Billy fixed his mask, heart aching and anger bubbling up in his chest. He clenched his jaw to stay quiet and looked up at Frank, eyes burning with hatred and fear through the mask.

He got himself up and walked away, head trying to shake away the nightmares that threatened his waking moment.

Billy tries to scurry away but can't. He grabs Franks hand to try and get it off his shirt. Under his grip he's shaking like a sad puppy.

His so traumatized that he can't even cry. The ball in his throat stops him from speaking properly.

"Stop." He squeaked out. "Please let go. Whatever I did, I'm sorry." The ball bobbed in his throat.
