Who is behind BIMWORX

During a holiday together, the two brothers Emanuel and Cornelius Homann came up with the idea of creating a network for the property sector. Thanks to their years of expertise in architecture, building law and BIM, they know the needs and challenges of the individual players very well.

 "With our platform we want to make a contribution to the digitalisation of the construction industry. From my practice as a lawyer, I can say that the industry is in part very insecure and even feels that it is already "hung up". In our project database, beginners can see that even those with BIM experience have not yet mastered all use cases. We want to promote an exchange of experience and information that encourages all players to implement digitalisation," says Cornelius Homann (owner of HOMANN Rechtsanwalt and partner of BIMWORX GmbH).

The office is the specialist in Building Information Modeling (BIM). All workstations are equipped with the very latest BIM planning software. This applies both to the classic presentation of the plans and the 3D model of the building as well as to scheduling and cost planning and tendering. Building owners and partners experience the ultra-modern possibilities of an architect to create planning, schedule and cost security for their building project.

A common code that connects, what belongs together

The idea of our platform is to sort the #information of the industry and to transport it without detours to the right user. The special feature here is, on the one hand, the query of the #BIM specifics and, on the other hand, the specification of the branch of industry. Hinter dem Wirtschaftszweig liegen etwa 9.500 einzelne Kategorien, welche zur jeweiligen Berufsgruppe (Architekt, Rechtsanwalt, MEP, etc.) sortiert werden. Es entsteht ein spezifischer Baubranchen-Code (BBC) und somit eine vernetzte Datenbank. Die Nutzer erhalten diverse Anwendungsfälle, welche eine effiziente Informationsbeschaffung und Bereitstellung ermöglichen.
