I need to establish myself. I too love Tobirama and think he's the best character to come out of any manga, the ideal male, and is so great that you'd think a woman wrote him. Uchiha Loremastering

Sup senjunators and uchihanators. I was wondering if anyone can help me find out where exactaly it is said that Izuna is the second eldest of Tajima's children. This AM I finally found where it called Madara "长男" (I only have simplified characters on my keyboard), and that ruined everything for me, since I didn't peg him as an eldest child (plus I'm not gonna go into it too much, but it's unrealistic to be like “everyone either lived to adulthood or died on the battlefield at age 5, no in between."), but now I wanna be clear on where Izuna stands in the lineup of Tajima's sons. The wiki is usually really good w sources, but for the fact of "Izuna is the second eldest", there's no direct citation for me to investigate.

Anywho, I appriciate the help in advance!

Now this is just horrifying. Nawaki looks SO much like Kawarama, and ends up dying like him : young, terrified, on the battlefield, with barely enough mutilated remains to bury. Hashirama and Tobirama must be rolling in their graves.

Grief is a complicated emotion. It makes people consider and often do the unthinkable.

Because of that I am a firm believer in the theory that Edo Tensei is not a creation of a mad scientist, but a little boy who misses his brothers desperately and wholeheartedly, and would do anything to have them back.

What’s more, I also believe that when Hashirama eventually finds out about this jutsu, he immediately understands why Tobirama created it and never judges him for it. In fact, he maybe even asks, full of tentative hope, if it works. 

I can imagine Tobirama admitting that it doesn’t. Then he explains in a voice which shakes despite his best efforts to control it that bringing someone back this way doesn’t make them alive – it just makes then exist and simply existing is not a life one should ever wish on those they love.

The two of them spend a long time afterwards battling their own feelings, torn between disappointment and relief, and feeling equally guilty for both.

Maybe they also visit Itama and Kawarama’s graves with fresh flowers and some sweets. Maybe they go to pray at the little shrine they have for them at home. Maybe they just sit side by side, both starved for just a bit of familial love, and think about all the could-have-beens while being so incredibly thankful they still have each other.
