....I know it's been a long time since I've been on here. Lotta life stuff, obviously. but my boyfriend has brought my attention to the fact that I need a hobby, lol. I'm home alone 99% of the time after I get home from work, as he's out of state for work and my list of irl friends is pretty small.

figured I'd hop on here and try and make a point to write a bit everyday. plus I miss bingo and friends.

it’s been years since i’ve binged Steven Universe with my friends from college. I remember when it first came out but never watched it, and when I watched it with my friends (their choice of show) it was 2019 and we had caught up on the latest like 3-4 seasons in 2 days. one day we literally watched it for 12 hours straight lol I enjoyed it but never got super into it, but for some reason the thought of Bingo running around with Steven and the Gems makes my inner child happy, I think it would be such a neat and fun crossover with so many possibilities!

Here’s to hoping those muns are still active!!

Bingo sighed, ears drooping slightly. 

❝ well...my tummy doesn’t feel good. ❞

while that wasn’t not true, it wasn’t because the Heeler felt ill. but Bingo didn’t quite know yet how to elaborate exactly what she was feeling.

and most importantly: why. 

she looked up at Dad with a pleading gaze, wanting nothing more than to curl up on the couch and listen to him yell at sports on the TV, or have a book read to her. daycare was too loud sometimes, and she didn’t always have a friend to play with. it made her stomach do somersaults.

Bingo approached Dad from behind, tapping his leg gently and looking up at him with large, dark eyes.

❝ Dad…can I ask you a question? ❞ she murmured, weight shifting between her paw pads and her toes as she waited for his reply.

Bingo loved little kids, and gaped as Franklin as he made his way toward her, paws flying to her cheeks.  Bingo didn't have to beg littler kids to play with her.

❝ oh wow, hi Franklin! look at you go! I haven’t seen you in ages! ❞ she laughed, reaching for him to hold his smaller hands in her own.

attention back on Chloe’s dad, she grinned. ❝ yeah, we’ll make our own fun. ❞

at first, Bingo was nervous upon hearing Chloe wasn’t here, but Bluey did always talked about the fun games she played here. she’d be fine.

❝ what should we do? ❞ she inquired, looking up at Mr. Spot with hopeful eyes.

as soon as the door opened, Bingo donned a grin.

❝ hello Mistah Spot! thanks for letting me come over! is Chloe here? ❞ she greeted, glancing around for Bluey’s friend.

her elder sister was off at a birthday party, and Mum and Dad had a “date night” planned, so it was just the youngest of the Heelers today.

Bingo giggled, waving her cape about as well.

❝ ooh yes, I like that, Muffin! ❞ she said, nodding vigorously.

her makeshift blanket-cape came to rest around her feet as the heeler’s arms crossed in thought. ❝ I want my name to be Agnes, and I think my powers should be invisibly, ❞ Bingo decided.

❝ and I can fly too, and I want...laser eyes! ❞

brows knit together and a half smile on her face- a rather heroic face, the youngest Heeler thought- she raised her fists above her head and made a whooshing noise as she “flew” to the playroom.  ❝ come on Gladys! ❞ Bingo chortled.

Bluey was away at a classmate’s birthday party, so the youngest Heeler was glad for some company.

Bingo couldn’t picture herself getting as tall as Lucky, let alone going to secondary school with all those big kids! they learn hard stuff.

a little jog was necessary to meet her new friend at the base of the tree, but she quickly made herself comfortable. ❝ no, I don’t think so. what is ‘cloud gaze’? ❞  the heeler cocked her head, brows knit in evident confusion.

Bluey had made a beeline for the swings, and Mum and Dad were engrossed in a conversation, but Bingo was quick to notice this semi-familiar face.

she was definitely a bit older than Bingo, but the red heeler had spent some time recently with Bluey’s older friend, Mackenzie, so her typical shyness was absent.

❝ do you come here every day? ❞ she inquired, head tilting slightly.

the little red heeler began to feel subconscious, bringing her fingers together and twiddling to compensate for the building anxiety. she looked up and away from Dad, trying to build the courage to speak.

❝ I don’t think I want to go to daycare today... ❞ Bingo managed, brows furrowed slightly.

her reddish tail began to wag. sandbox forgotten, Bingo tried to stand taller to see if she was as tall as Lucky. she wasn’t. 

❝ so you go to big kid school? ❞ the heeler inquired, eyes growing wider. her voice was bright with curiosity.

she knew Bluey would be going there in a few short years, and always wondered what it was like.
