I have to admit it's so sad to know that you won't be continuing TKOTA, but it is what it is. Just know you are an excellent writer and we have enjoyed it immensely. Thank you, but I never said I won't continue the fic, though I can certainly see how it could be interpreted that way. I only said the hyperfixation is fully gone. It could easily return a few months from now, or a year, when the show's back, or I may simply want to continue the fic down the line. I didn't say I wouldn't.

What happened is that the HOTD hyperfixation has ended, so I've lost all inspiration and care for the fic. I get one or two hyperfixations per year where I HEAVILY obsess about said things 24/7, but when it's over, it's fully gone. So, that's why I've gone MIA and not been active on AO3.

Hey there, first of all please let me tell you how much I love your fic The King of the Ashes. I am sorry you have been harassed by inconsiderate people. Perhaps one way to discourage this is to turn off anon asks. People will be much more hesitant to be rude when they cannot hide behind anonimity. Just a suggestion.

Thank you for the acknowledgement! But though I've received snarky messages from entitled readers for not updating as they want, overall I receive many anon comments that are wonderful and not only about my TKOTA fic. I receive kind words and praise mostly for my AOT fics, and the majority are from anons. I won't deprive anyone who wants to send me a quick message in the future because of entitled people. The notes in chapter 13 were mostly to vent. I just ignore the rude remarks here and block when I get them on Discord. Thanks so much for the suggestion, though! ❤️❤️❤️

They erased Helaena’s gentleness, her belovednesd and her life-ending despair to give to Rhaenyra, they aged down Alicent and made her betray everything she loved for Rhaenyra, they made Cole sleep with Rhaenyra when he never did in the books because he held to his vows, they erased Mysaria’s flaws to make her a side piece for Rhaenyra, they erased Baela’s wildness and tomboyishness to have her be subservient to Rhaenyra, they erased Nettles to make sure Daemon never had a serious committment with anyone but Rhaenyra, they had the Velaryons ignore that Rhaenyra had caused the deaths of two of their members to be subservient to Rhaenyra, they had Laenor just fuck off and abandon everything so Rhaenyra wouldn’t get her hands dirty, they erased the Silent Five so Rhaenyra wouldn’t get her hands dirty, they made Vaemond’s death completely different so Rhaenyra wouldn’t get her hands dirty, they erased Rhaenyra’s racism and calling for a child’s death so Rhaenyra wouldn’t get her hands dirty, they erased Rhaenyra’s own opulence because sTrong InDePeNdAnT wOmEn cAnNot bE gIrLy, they erased Rhaenyra’s own desire for the throne

And I’m expected to believe this show favours Team Green.

Hi!!! I absolutely love your fic “The King of The Ashes”. I was just wondering if you will ever continue your fic “Aegon Targaryen, the Second of His Name”. Love that one too, and the amount of times I have reread those two chapters might be unhealthy.

I've received a few questions about that fic and, ugh, I wish I had an answer, but I don't. I started writing TKOTA and forgot about my first fic :( I think it's because I had a very vague idea when writing The Second of His Name, and when I started writing TKOTA and got all juiced with ideas, I realised I had NO idea what I even intended to do with the other fic.

What I've been planning is to rearrange my thoughts so that I can get back to that other fic and actually figure out what I want to do with it. For now, just stay subscribed and you'll get the notification when I update!
