Imagine this, before the war, during a quiet solar cycle(a day), mechs walk down the streets more tense than usual, the humble musician sensing a harsh change in the ones she walks amongst. Something must have happened to have most of everyone in a tense mood.
To calm the storms that seem to cloud the others, she prepares one of her instruments on stage. There was a song she had in mind.
The mood seemed to lift up as the guests watched with awe and emotion. Peace and tranquility blooms in the air as the guest relax to the tune of the music.
After the song finished, the tension that was previously in the air seemed to have disappeared as the guests clapped happily.

Imagine this, during the war, a group of autobots and decepticons were in the middle of a battle when all of a sudden a horde of metal eating creatures suddenly appeared out of nowhere, gnawing at anyone that was too close.
All transformers tried to defend themselves, to get away, but it was all for not, as they all were cornered in the same place.
All seemed lost until the creatures came to a halt at the sound of music playing. They stopped hunting the remaining transformers and followed the where the tune was guiding them. It was only for a brief moment, but one of the bots/cons caught sight of someone cloaked on the roof of the buildings before disappearing. They knew that tune. It was familiar, but where had they heard it before?
Meanwhile, the musician jump into a hidden bunker before taking a breathe.

Hello, Iâve greatly enjoyed reading your writing, from the quintesson clones, to the body swap between a human and transformers. Its all been pleasant to read.
I wanted to share some ideas Iâve had of your âHumble Musicalâ work, and hope youâd be willing to incorporate them into work (if not, thatâs all right). I hope things are alright on your side, thank you for reading. :3
Awww đ„° These are so sweet, and I think you gave me a new favorite song. An outlier musician with the ability to enchant things with their songs is definitely something I will be thinking about for a while.
Also, I'm sorry y'all đ I've been so busy that I haven't really found the time to do any writing. It had also kinda put my motivation and inspiration to sleep. So, progress has been slow, but I try to get something done on the weekends.

Bayverse Version (Part 17)
You work hard in your training and make great progress. You begin to feel confident in yourself, but then one rude remark from Galloway makes you think about the possibility of you becoming a dangerous Decepticon. That is put to the test when you get ambushed during your energon hunting trip.
Warnings: Ironhide being a strict trainer, Galloway being a rude and crappy person, reader having doubts and moody thoughts, some comfort, an ambush, violence, throwing things at someone, and someone dies.
-----------------------------------------------
Ever since that night talk with Optimus, you have tried to work hard on your combat training and mentally overcome your fears.Â
Ironhide looked surprised but pleased with your newfound motivation and focus. Unfortunately, this didnât mean he eased up on his training methods; he was, however, receptive when you asked if you could concentrate more on learning how to defend yourself. You thought it would be easier to learn one thing at a time, especially concerning your own well-being. Ironhide agreed to thisâtoo bad he still made it challenging not to kiss the ground.Â
However, as the days passed, you began making progress in defending yourself and found yourself kissing the ground less. You could now protect your vital areas from dangerous hits and land more safely, which you found easier. You also focused on moving more swiftly against bigger opponents. Due to your smaller size, there was no way you could match the cons with your strength, but with your size, you were much faster and swifter.Â
Your progress pleased Ironhide, and when you eventually became good at being on the defensive, you shifted to being offensive, which you found much more challenging to learn.Â
Your routine was usual as before, otherwise. You occasionally gave Emily a call after the NEST operators made sure communications were safe again, checking on her and making sure the Allspark fragment hadn't caused any trouble for her. She had been doing alright so far â life had gone normally as usual. She sometimes shared about things she had done with Sideswipe. The two had become rather good friends. It wasnât surprising to you. Emily was someone who could become friends with pretty much everyone.Â
As the days passed and nothing had happened in Emilyâs routine, you became more at ease and focused more on passing your combat training. Being on the offensive was still a challenge for you, but with Ironhide's guidance, you learned where to find and hit sensitive spots on Cybertronians, and even how to disable some guns.Â
As Ironhide was the Autobotsâ weapon specialist, he thought it would be a valuable lesson for you. Personally, you had never been interested in guns, but Ironhide managed to make it interesting for you to learn a thing or two about their weapon tech.Â
After a good three weeks and no signs of Decepticon activity, the bots thought it would be a good time to go on an energon hunt again. With all the previous energon posts mined empty and the pure energon taken into secure storage, it was a good time to find some more.Â
With all the training sessions on your belt, you felt confident and mentally prepared. So, you agreed to go.Â
The day was young, so Ironhide decided to allow you to have a day off from the training, making you only do some warm-ups in case something goes wrong during the trip. Despite you still struggling with being on offense, he deemed you ready enough to leave the safe premises of the base. You knew well enough how to defend yourself in a combat situation, and you had been taught the evacuation protocols in case of an emergency. So, with all that consideredâŠ
You should be fine.
To pass the time, you decided to spend some time with Que, learning about signal jammers and how to disable them.Â
âAs signal jammers are quite tricky to counter, if you find yourself in a situation where you canât disable the opposing jammer, one clever trick is to match its frequency and signal strength,â Que explained. âIt makes the jamming louder and more chaotic, which can confuse the source and make it harder to detect youâgiving you a brief window for communication.â
âOkay,â you nodded.
âCurious questionâwhat would happen if the jammer had the same signal strength but a different frequency?â you asked.
âOh, that would just add noise and create chaos,â Que replied. âIt would show up on network maps and could even cause a blackout. Our technology is far more potent than human systems, so the effects could be significant.â
âYou know, how about you carry one on your person? Itâs not too bad to carry one in case you need to hide yourself,â he handed you one of the jammers.
âOkay,â you said, taking it and putting it in your subspaces, or robo pockets, as you like to call them.Â
âAh, now youâve got me fascinated with ideas of a complete blackout. You know, you seem to possess a natural curiosity. Perhaps you could be my assistant in new weapon engineering. Your human assistants are good with their small hands, but it wouldn't be too bad to have an assistant of my own size help me out,â Que suggested.
âWell, I wouldn't mind becoming an assistant to you, but I heard that most of your experiments tend to blow up,â you said with a raised brow.
âNah, that might happen occasionally, but donât worry about it. I have a designated area for experiments that might explode,â he grinned.
You both then heard a door bang open and the familiar sound of footsteps. An automatic frown took over your face as you recognized whose footsteps those were.Â
Galloway in all of his bitchiness walked up to the platforms.Â
âGreetings, Director. What can we do for you today?â Que asked politely, though his tone carried a hint of caution.
Galloway barely spared him a glance. âSave it. I donât have time for pleasantries. Whereâs Optimus?â
âHe is currently on a mission and wonât return for some time,â Ratchet replied evenly. âPerhaps we can assist you in the meantime.â
Galloway scoffed. âI doubt that. Iâm here because I read your reports and found out that you handed a fragment of the Allspark to a civilian. Care to explain that brilliant decision?â
Que stepped forward, calm but firm. âI believe we already explained the situation in the report. Under unique circumstances, the Allspark fragment has imprinted on Miss Walkerson, and our attempts to sever the connection between them have not been successful. Placing Miss Walkerson under Autobot protection was⊠our best course of action.â
âYeah. I donât have time for this imprint and magic bond kind of crap. Why didnât you try harder? Arenât you supposed to be the smart scientist?â Gallow questioned with that condescending tone of his.Â
You frowned, starting to get really pissed off by his attidute.Â
âOh Fuck offâŠâ You muttered under your breath.Â
âWhat was that, (Last Name)?â Galloway snapped, turning to glare at you.
âNothing. What do you think I said?â you replied, playing dumb with a raised brow.
âIt sounded a lot like âfuck off,ââ he said, narrowing his eyes.
âReally? Thatâs funny,â you said, your tone sharpening. âBecause just a moment ago, you didnât seem to hear a thing when Que explained why they couldnât sever the Allspark fragmentâs connection to my best friendâand why sheâs under Autobot protection.â
âDo you think Iâm stupid?â Galloway snapped.
âYeah, I do,â you said bluntly.
Mudflap snickered in the background, only to be elbowed by Skids, who tried to stifle his own grin.
âOh, you can laugh now,â Galloway sneered. "You might have this little superpower that helps you find energon. But Iâve read your file, (Last Name). And you know what I found?â
You narrowed your eyes, already bracing for whatever nonsense he was about to spew.
âBecause I found something interesting,â he continued, voice dripping with smugness. âThat Transformers born from the Allspark are hardwired to think like Decepticons, even you," he pointed at you sharply. "Which could make you violent and dangerous."
You fell silent, your expression hardening.
âThe file says you pose no threat,â he said, âbut Iâm not convinced. One wrong move, and Iâll have you locked up. Donât think I wonât.â
You glared at him, fists clenched at your sides.
âDirector Galloway, there is no need for that,â Ratchet said, stepping forward. â(Name) has been under our surveillance for a long time and has never once acted on any Decepticon coding. That programming is long gone.â
âAnd even if complications were to arise,â he added, âwe are fully capable of handling them.â
âSheâs demonstrated exceptional self-control,â Que chimed in. âThe only scenario in which the Decepticon coding could resurface is if she were under extreme emotional distress, like anger or despair.âÂ
You stood quietly, thinking about that.
Galloway gave a cold, humorless smile. âYou can hide behind your bot buddies all you want. Maybe youâre useful for sniffing out energon, but donât think that makes you safe.â
He pointed at you, his voice low and threatening. âIâll be watching you. One wrong move, and youâre done. I promise you that.â
With that, he turned and walked out of the base, leaving a heavy silence in his wake.
âThat human is more trouble than heâs worth,â Que muttered, shaking his head. âAnd I noticed heâs not even using NESTâs secure communication lines. Thatâs just asking for trouble.â
âDonât let his words get to you,â Ratchet said reassuringly when he looked at you. âAs long as you keep your head calm, youâll be fine.â
You nodded, but fell back into your thoughts. You tried not to let Gallowayâs words sink in, but they echoed in your mind anyway.
The cons could brainwash you because of the coding. And you might activate it yourself if you end up dangerously upset.Â
If that happens, would you really become something that only knows anger?Â
And if you became too dangerous to handle, would the bots have to lock you up?Â
Or maybeâŠÂ
⊠put you down?Â
The atmosphere during the trip to the energon mine was rather gloomy. You were with Ratchet, as while he was a medic, he was also a capable combatant. During the duration of the trip, you could not stop thinking about the possibility of you becoming an enraged Decepticon who could cause harm.Â
You donât want to admit it, but the idea kinda stripped all the confidence you had in yourself and added a new concern that woundât leave your mind no matter how hard you tried not to think about it.Â
When you got to your destination, you followed Ratchet down the plane ramp. You took a quick look around the new place â it didnât look much different from the previous energon locations.Â
âAlright, let's go. Iâll show you the way,â Ratchet said and transformed into his alt-mode. You followed his example and followed him as he led you and the other NEST members to the unconfirmed energon deposit.Â
After you got there, you went to work. You were kinda happy about it as it allowed you to have something else to think about. But after you were done, it was back to the gloomy thoughts. Using your ability has become relatively easy, so you managed to get the task done rather quickly.Â
You even tried to see if you could find a vein that could lead you to a pure energon source, but nothing. They were really living up to their name of being rare as hell.Â
You walked up to Ratchet after scouring the entire area for energon. There werenât even smaller energon clusters that you could have spent time looking for.Â
âEverything done?â Ratchet asked.Â
âYeah⊠I pretty much checked the entire place. There arenât any more energon veins,â you replied.Â
âVery well. If you canât find any more energon, then our job is done here. We can go back to the plane, â he stated before looking at you. âGood job,â
âThanksâŠâ you muttered.Â
âWould you like to rest first before we proceed to the next location?â he asked.Â
âNo. Iâm good to go, â you shook your hand. âThe more we get done today, the better.âÂ
âAlright⊠â Ratchet looked at you with a raised brow.Â
âLetâs get going then,â he transformed.Â
You followed in suit and drove as you two left the mine with a couple of escorts.Â
While driving on the road, you followed Ratchet quietly. The thoughts in your mind constantly spinning around the idea of you becoming a Decepticon. The things that might happen after that left you feeling even more gloomy.Â
It seems your silence caught Ratchetâs attention because he spoke to you through the radio.Â
â(Name). Whatâs wrong?â he asked.Â
âHm? â you hummed, startled out of your thoughts by his question.Â
âUhmâŠNothing. Just thinking,â You replied.Â
âAre you certain?â he asked.Â
âYeah. Everythingâs fine,â you answered, even though it was kinda not.Â
You heard him release a sigh on the radio.Â
âAlright. Pull over,â Ratchet said.Â
âWhat?âÂ
âPull over now,â he said, driving to the side of the road. Seeing no other choice, you followed him to the field.Â
On the field, Ratchet transformed, and you followed in suit. The NEST vehicles stopped, and the people in them looked at you, confused by the sudden stop.Â
âTake a moment break. This wonât take long,â Ratchet explained before turning toward you, âYou, follow me,â he said and started walking.Â
Uncertain what he wanted, you followed him, walking away from your escort to somewhere private. When you were out of their earshot, Ratchet turned toward you.Â
âNow⊠tell me whatâs wrong?â he asked.Â
You were caught off guard.Â
âNothing! Everythingâs fine! Really!â you tried to reassure.Â
âYou know, you tend to avoid eye contact and be quieter than usual when something is bothering your mind. Your EM field is also showing,â Ratchet pointed out.Â
You quickly composed yourself, pulling back your EM field. The dumb thing that always goes off whenever you happen to have a static mind or something troubling your mind. You were not used to such a thing flowing out of you whenever you were lost in thought. And it was probably too late to convince Ratchet that nothing was bothering you because he pretty much sensed your depressed mood.Â
You then remember Optimusâs advice on talking to someone if something was on your mind.Â
But would it be stupid to talk about something you were told not to let it bother you, yet it did?Â
You thought about it for a moment.Â
No, not Ratchet. He was not the judgmental type.Â
âCould it⊠be possible I turn into a Decepticon if that code thing in me activates?â you asked.Â
âIt's just. When Galloway brought up that Decepticon coding, I was reminded of when I was kidnapped, and that Starscream and his Cons intended to make me one of them by activating the code,â you explained.Â
âAnd then Que mentions it could activate by itself if I become too angry, and... that,â you added.Â
âAnd now I canât stop thinking if I could end up activating the code myself and becoming a Decepticon,â you looked at him.Â
âWhat would then happen if that came to pass?â you asked.Â
Ratchet looked at you softly. âNo. You will not turn into a Decepticon even if the code activates.âÂ
You looked at him, slightly confused.Â
âDespite its name. The Decepticon code, in my understanding, was made in a way that any newborn Transformer would be born in a state of rage, making their first instinct to fight everything they see. The only addition being that they see Decepticons as their own, thus not fighting them,â Ratchet explained.Â
âItâs like⊠imagine before being born, someone⊠convinced you that everything outside is a danger to you, thus your first thought is to fight that danger,â he mused.Â
You nodded, letting him know you understood what he meant.Â
âSo, in sense, the Decepticon coding simply affects the individualâs behaviour. It is technically an amplifier; in this case, it amplifies anger and the need to fight,â he stated.Â
âI actually managed to discover that, thanks to you,â he motioned at you.Â
âIf you had been an ordinary Transformer, you would have most likely awakened like the other Transformers that had been born. But I believe that your human consciousness somehow overshadowed the codingâs activation, putting it to dormancy, and allowing you to have control over your emotions, â he continued.Â
âI have been working on finding a way to remove the coding. So, if you feel unsafe with it lingering in your processors. We can work on that,â he added.Â
âI think⊠I would feel more comfortable with that,â you nodded.Â
Ratchet hummed. âHowever, being A Decepticon is a choice.âÂ
âJust like how being an Autobot is a choice. It is done out of free will. And only you can make that choice,â he said.Â
âThe coding might have been created by the Decepticons, but it only affects a Transformerâs behavior. It does not decide who you are.â
âBut⊠what if I end up activating the code myself?â you questioned.
âRemember what Que said, it can only be activated in a situation where you are under extreme emotional distress,â Ratchet said. âSmall moments of annoyance, frustration, or even sadness will not activate it.â
âAnd keeping yourself calm will help. And you are one of the most level-headed bots Iâve seen, even if you have a bad habit of keeping your troubles to yourself,â he said, making you awkwardly chuckle.Â
âTrust me. I believe you will be fine,â he assured. âAnd even if your code were to activate, we will do everything to turn you back. We donât leave our own when they need help the most,â he added.Â
You quietly thought about it and felt comforted. âThanks⊠I think I needed to hear that.âÂ
âAnytime,â Ratchet nodded. Â
âI donât think I ever will be a Decepticon. I donât have the cruelty to cause harm to others,â you stated.Â
Ratchet chuckled. âThatâs good. In my honest opinion, you have more potential to become an Autobot.âÂ
You smiled, but then felt a familiar buzz in your head.Â
You looked past Ratchet and saw something lurking beneath the cover of the trees. At first, it looked like a red light, but then you made out a shadowy shape that reminded you of a big cat. It then moved, and you recognized the thing as that murderous robot cat from before. What was its name⊠Ravage?
âRatchetâŠâ you anxiously stepped back, keeping your eyes on the murder cat.Â
Ratchet glanced toward the trees where you were looking. The murder cat growled and ran away after being spotted.Â
Suddenly, two giant bots appeared from the woods. You recognized one of them as Long Haul, the giant, green brute. You had no idea who the other con was.Â
They said something in their tongue, then charged at you and Ratchet.Â
You stepped back as your spark began to pound against your chest in fear.Â
â(Name), run!â Ratchet yelled before tackling the nameless con.
You initially turned around and ran, but then stopped when you felt another buzz and looked into the sky. Grindor, the military helicopter, appeared and transformed in the air. He joined Long Haul and the nameless con in their fight with Ratchet.Â
âOpen fire!â The NEST members started shooting when they saw what was happening.Â
You watched the fight go on. Ratchet held his own against Grindor, Long Haul, and the nameless con, but he was outnumbered. The NEST membersâ covering fire did little to assist him.
This made you hesitate. Ratchet was capable of fighting, but three against one was still too much.Â
âWhat are you waiting for! Get out of here!â One of the NEST soldiers yelled at you.Â
You looked back and saw the cons beating Ratchet. Panic began to fill your mind. If you left, would Ratchet die?
You thought about everything Ironhide taught you and tried to figure out what you could do to help him. Your hesitation and desire to help Ratchet struggled against each other because you were afraid of the cons, but you were also afraid of Ratchet losing his life.Â
Ironhideâs words about gathering your courage to hit them back crossed your mind. Would this be it?Â
Ratchetâs pained yell then snapped you back to reality. You saw Long Haul holding Ratchet down as Grindor prepared to shoot the medic.Â
At that moment, you threw everything out the window. There was no time to think. You needed to help him now.
âFuck it!â you yelled and charged at them.Â
Before Grindor could shoot Ratchet, you pounced on the conâs back and pulled as hard as you could, causing him to misfire and shoot Long Haul instead.Â
Long Haul yelled in pain as he was pushed back by the force of the blast. This gave Ratchet a chance to free himself and get back on his feet.
âWhat are you doing?!â Ratchet yelled, pushing back the nameless con. âGet away from here!âÂ
You didnât hear him as you focused on hanging onto Grindorâs back. Due to his size, he couldnât really reach out to grab you, but because of his size, you needed to hold on to whatever you could. Your weight constantly shifting behind him made him step around like a drunkard, struggling to maintain his balance.
While hanging from his back, you tried to rip out anything you could reach. These were mostly small pieces, but when you spotted wires, you grabbed onto them and pulled hard enough to break them.Â
This caused Grindor to yell in pain, and electric particles to blow out from where the wires were connected. But it also caused him to fall backwards toward the trees.Â
To avoid getting crushed between the giant con and the trees, you swung yourself out of the way and rolled down to the ground. Grindor crashed into the trees, emitting electrical sparks and struggling to get back up.Â
You quickly got back on your feet and saw Long Haul having recovered from the blast. He looked pissed.Â
âKeep moving. Donât let them grab you!â Ratchet guided, taking Long Haulâs attention to himself, while you were left with the nameless con.Â
The nameless con growled at you, making you nearly freak out. He tried to hit you, but you were quick enough to raise your guard to block his fists a few times. You then went for the offensive, managing to punch his face, but then he kicked you hard enough to send you flying backwards.Â
You managed to grab onto a tree to avoid falling. When you saw how much the tree could bend, an idea popped into your mind. You quickly bent the tree to the side, and when the nameless con came close enough, you let go, causing the tree to slap the con in the face.Â
The tree slap was strong enough to send the con flying backwards, giving you a chance to check on Ratchet.Â
When you saw Grindor back on his feet and approaching Ratchet, you looked around, and then your eyes landed on a big rock near you. You picked it up with both your hands, then aimed at Grindor.Â
âRatchet!â you called out, then threw the rock.Â
âDuck!âÂ
Ratchet looked your way before falling down on his knees to dodge the rock as it flew over him and hit Grindor in his face. The hit was strong enough to make energon fall from Grindorâs mouth and him fall to the ground again.Â
For a moment, you felt satisfaction for managing to make the giant con kiss the ground twice.Â
Unfortunately, this caused the nameless con go unnoticed by you, as he grabbed you from behind. You struggled as his arm was around your neck, swinging your legs in an attempt to lose his hold. You nearly panicked, but then remembered a trick Ironhide taught you.Â
You dropped all your weight in an attempt to make your body hit the ground. Luckily, the nameless con was only a head taller than you, so your entire body weight was enough to make him lose his hold on you. When that happened, you straightened your back, wrapped your hands around his arm, and pushed your legs against his torso, locking him in place.Â
âRatchet!â you yelled, keeping the nameless con trapped.Â
Ratchet looked your way. He punched Long Haul away, then ran toward you and the nameless con.Â
As the nameless con couldnât move, Ratchet used his spiral chainsaw to slice through the conâs chest. Sparks flew out of the conâs chest, and sounds of screams petruded from the con as Ratchet sliced his chainsaw through the conâs head.Â
You let go and rolled out of the way as the nameless con fell dead to the ground.Â
Grindor and Long Haul stopped in their tracks when they saw their comrade die, astonished that you managed to take down one of them and even the numbers.Â
You quickly stood up, ready to fight with Ratchet by your side.Â
They cursed in their tongue, but when more NEST soldiers showed up in jeeps, they backed away.Â
âThis wonât be over, whelp!â Long Haul growled. He and Grindor then disappeared into the woods, making their retreat.Â
You took a deep breath and leaned on your knees after they disappeared from sight, and the danger was no more.Â
âThatâŠâ Ratchet turned toward you after taking his breather. â... was the most reckless thing you could have done. You know your protocol is to evacuate in case of danger!â he raised his voice, ready to scold you.Â
âI know, butâŠâ You straightened your back and looked at him. âYou were outnumbered. The chances were that you were gonna die, and then they would come after me. I donât think I would have fled in time before they would have been done with you. It was better that I stayed and stood my ground,âÂ
âIronhide once said that at some point, I need to start hitting back. AndâŠâ You took a deep breath.Â
âI didnât⊠want you to die because of me,â you said.Â
Ratchet sighed, his gaze softening.Â
â(Name). As an old bot, I'd rather see you safe and out of harm's way. Seeing you get seriously injured is the last thing I want to see. So, next time, donât go risking your life for an old rust bucket like me,â he said.Â
âButâŠâ He placed his hand on your shoulder. âThank you. It was brave of you,â he said with gratitude in his voice.Â
A small smile graced your face.Â
âLetâs return to base. I believe we have seen enough action for the day,â Ratchet stated, with you nodding in agreement.Â
Without any extra cons waiting to ambush you, you and Ratchet returned to the plane that took you back to Diego Garcia. Despite the fear you felt during the confrontation, you felt a slight sense of pride for standing your ground. You donât wish for any more confrontations with the cons because you do not know what they might try next, but you feel that you could face them and stand your ground if needed.

Oh, this was entertaining! đ I now really wanna know what happens next.
⥠"ENTERTAINMENT" â Megatron [TFA]
scenario: maybe law-enforcement officers and Megatron can get along, only if heâs in a cell though.
setting: takes place post season three. Megatron is locked up in Trypticon for a year or so. after team Strika fails to bust him out.
cross posted on ao3!

Trypticon Prison, Kaon. What a wonderful place to work at. You mentally prepare yourself for him as you type in the codes into the door-panel of the maximum security wing. You let out a long vent before you enter the wing, the large metallic door whirrs open with a hydraulic hiss.
âIf it isn't my favorite Autobot.â
You have to physically hold back a resigned sigh at the sound of the smooth velvety voice you had yet to grow accustomed to despite him being locked up here for nearly a year now. Autobot has become his name for you, you sincerely hoped that he didnât know your name even if it had been quite a while since he's been under your custody. You trudged along a trolley containing the trays of low-grade fuel for all the Decepticon prisoners of the wing which was basically just him.
Megatron sat in his rather-cramped-for-his-size cell with one leg on top of the other as he leaned onto a wall, his helm resting on the barrier that you were so grateful for. Other than the occasional sounds from the two of you, it was only the static from the energy barrier that could be heard. This sector was eerily quiet, just Megatron and his silence. His loyal soldiers were in the other corridor of the same wing right next to Megatronâs isolated holding, it made sense why the cunning spawn of a glitch had an entire cell block for him. You couldnât trust the mecha with even an energon scrap...
Trypticon was once one of the mightest Decepticons that had ever been a Decepticon. But after Trypticonâs defeat thanks to the introduction of Omega Sentinels, the stasis locked Trypticon was repurposed into an Autobot POW campâ empty halls with cells specifically built to accommodate Decepticons for millennia. But as the years went on, Trypticon was yet again repurposed but this time as a civilian prison. The old warden, Codexa, had given you a long lecture on the history of Trypticon years ago when you first joined. The place was a fortress, virtually inescapable. Only the worst of the worst were locked up in here.
But after the whole Allspark incident a year ago, Decepticons were back in the cells of Trypticon. The leader of the ruthless Decepticons, the infamous warlord, Megatron himself along with most of the remaining lackeys of the already crippled Decepticon ranks had been captured and as the days go by, they just seem to find more and more. The sector was almost half-filled.
The possibility that there were still more out there remains to be the current speculation. Every bot had their optics zoomed in for any suspicious activity nowadays. Especially in Kaon, where you lived. Given it was the former capital of the Decepticon empire, it made sense.
You were initially relieved, like any other Autobot wouldâve been knowing that the fearsome Decepticons were finally put down.
But when you heard the news from Highbrow that The Megatron would be imprisoned in the wing you were in charge of? Primus, you felt your spark drop. The fact that High-Command seriously believed you were tough enough to handle the Megaton was comical. You were a senior guard so it sort of made sense why they assigned him to you but this was no murderer, criminal mastermind or Cryotek that you had gotten used to⊠this was a seasoned war-criminal that had quite literally killed more bots than has ever lived.
The worst part? The mech had landed himself a life imprisonment so he was here to stay. He was not going anywhere any time soon. Miraculously, he avoided a death-sentence⊠and youâll never know how. No bot knew how actually. Tyrest must've had a few screws loose. Some think it was an inside job. Nobody really trusted Autobot High Command after the literal head of Cybertron Intelligence was a damn Decepticon Spy. Even if the historic millennias long war had an official and actual conclusion, there was a newfound mistrust⊠and Sentinel Prime didnât really help out with that when he was Acting Magnus.
Either way, whether you liked it or not. Megatron was in your care for almost over a year now and it was⊠unpleasant.
Even despite your years of experience as a Prison Guard, Megaton was just too much. He was unpredictable and easily bored. In fact, Megaton was, from what you could understand, incredibly bored. To a point where around two months into his imprisonment, he tried to actually converse with you. You honestly didnât know what to feel about that.
âBored as usual, I assume?â You shot back at the grey mech trapped behind an energy barrier, tone refusing to hide your disapproval of his antics. He chuckled and then let out a sigh, expression momentarily softening and then returning to its usual sharp stare and slight smirk.
âIncredibly.â He practically purred that out, his piercing crimson optics narrowed at you in interest. It sent a shudder up your spine but you were an experienced guard, your frame did not betray you.
It started off small at first. Heâd try casual small talk with you. You never replied⊠at first but somehow Megatron just knew how to rile you up enough to get the reaction and response he wanted. Of course you wouldnât just let him get away with it. Youâd stand up to yourself with your own sharp glossa. You had a pride! You mightâve not been a big military big-shot but you were a senior guard nonetheless and Megatron was exploiting that little shred of ego for his own amusement.
But that escalated, fast. Now he was full blown hitting on you sometimes. Mightâve found it amusing if it were literally any other prisoner. But him? That just didnât even make sense nor did it sit right with you. He was clearly the proud, elegant, quiet and calculating type⊠to see him act like the total opposite for that was unnerving to say the least. More importantly, it brought up a bigger question:
Just how bored was he?
âYou're lucky then. I have guard duty tonight.â You frowned, clearly not happy with the predicament of having to spend the night in Trypticon of all places with Megatron of all bots. You always ended up with the night shift, following orders you didnât want to follow. Megatron knew that, he relished it.
âDon't make this any more unbearable than it has to be.â You sighed, resigned. He won't listen, he's Megatron after all but maybe for once, out some sense of.. non-existent pity, he might.
Megatron was quite happy with your predicament and it was evident in the small laugh he let out at your words and the way his derma slightly curved upwards.
âYou canât expect me to not make it unbearable,â He said with the usual sly grin, âEspecially not when you give me such⊠entertaining reactions dear. After all, its unbearable for just you.â
âDo you do this with Fort Max too?â You raised an optical ridge as you opened the fuel chute, putting in some low-grade energon cubes.
Megatron clearly didn't like the mention of your fellow guard, his signature smirk slightly faltering at the mention of the mech. Made sense, the younger guard was silent with a hatred for Cons that rivalled Magnusâ own. Megatron hummed.
âMmm. Heâs not half as entertaining as you.â He sighed, Megatron wouldnât show it to anyone but he did not like Fort Max.
âSo Iâm the only guard you annoy like this?â You huffed, shutting the fuel dispensing chute and making sure to lock it. Prison guards were supposed to maintain a menacing aura but clearly, the warlord was never intimidated and Megatron had a talent of making your exterior stoicism crack.
âPerhaps.â From all of your time stuck guarding him, you were aware that this was his fancy way little way of saying yes. The mech was quite dramatic for a bot in a cell.
âAm I supposed to feel flattered or concerned?â You scoff at his words, he spoke as if you were some sort of exception to a rule you weren't aware of.
âYou tell me Autobot.â He leaned in closer, the static of the energy barrier cackling as he did so. Megatron looked as amused as ever.
âConcerned then.â Your optics narrowed at him, maintaining your usual nonchalant demeanour. If it werenât for the tone of your voice, Megatron wouldâve had a hard time reading you.
âOf course.â Megatron gave a slight smile, amused at the predictability of your answer. Even if you kept up your stoic façade, Megatron has been alive for long enough to see right through it. He was determined to shake that mask off of you, the slight flustered reactions youâd often give as a response were so entertaining and your annoyed ones even more so.
And that was just from his words.
âYou don't find even a slight thrill in our little⊠thing?â He cooed, mockingly.
âThere is no thing. There never has been a thing between us.â You retort, clearly unamused and annoyed by his implied words. Megatron feigned a mock offence, a servo on his chassis. How he loved playing his little game, even if it was one-sided.
âYou're quite cold sparked.â
âAnd you don't know how to shut up.â You hissed, annoyance increasing as the moments went by. There was that snark he had grown to be so fond of. His smile grew slightly.
âYou forget who you talk to, Autobot.â Megatron replied amused but the slight warning in his tone didnât go unnoticed. You let out an amused laugh.
âSays the one in a cell.â
Now that, that got to him a bit. He absolutely despised being made ever so blissfully aware of his own predicament. Megatron kept his composure but his optics momentarily shone with pure rage at your gentle reminder. You were quite brave, he admitted that. Not a lot of âBots or âCons spoke to him in such a manner, not even that meddling nuisance Starscream. It was slightly amusing, refreshing even but Megatron will never tolerate two thingsâ disrespect and insubordination.
That mouth of yours would cost you someday. Heâd make sure of that.
However, the grey mech was a master of control. The both of you were aware of the fact that you mouthed off as much as you wanted only because of the purple energy barrier that kept the two of you separated and you thanked Primus with every glow of your spark everyday that Trypticon never faced power outages, unlike the rest of Kaon.
âSuch a bold little Autobot but that mouth of yours will bite you back someday.â His voice was low but Megatron had his signature smile.
âSome day in the next⊠what? Five million years? I have time until then.â You shot him back with your own cocky grin. Megatron let out an amused chuckle. Even if you were able to get under his plating (funnily enough, a feat only his own soldiers managed to do), heâd be lying if he said he didn't find the exchanges between you two amusing and entertaining.
You were leaning against the wall opposite to the energy barrier now, a gun in servo. It was more like a standard prison guard uniform given how you rarely had to ever really use it but a necessary precaution given how they had to deal with Decepticons now.
âSo cocky.â He huffed as he shifted on his seat a little, playfulness never leaving his demeanor. Megatron was still leaning against the energy barrier, he shifted a little to catch a better glimpse of you. You didn't really respond to that and let the silence take over for once which allowed Megatronâs deep red optics to actually study you carefully for once.
You were much taller than the average Autobot. It probably was a mandatory upgrade given your rather unsavory profession and clearly, you had some experience on you but you werenât as old as to be alive during The Great War. Maybe the first generation of post-War Cybertronians, he assumed. But clearly nowhere near as experienced as he was. You had some combat training, he could tell from the way you held your gun. Your servos werenât gripping the blaster like most amateurs end up doing. You had some skill. A useful, tidbit of information.
While Megatron wouldnât say it outright, he had grown seemingly interested in your life. What was your name? Why did you work here? What made you pick this as a profession? Did you live in Kaon? He only ever heard bits and pieces of your life from the conversations he overheard across the empty halls. It's not like he wanted to listen but he was bored and quite literally had nothing better to do. His audials were more sensitive than most, especially given how he was a seasoned fighter. He needed to rely on every sense he had on the battlefield.
âWhat?â You raise an optical ridge with a quizzical look, questioning his lingering stare.
âHm. I'm curious. You know, we've spoken for so so long, dear yet⊠I don't even know your name.â Megatron spoke, a slight mock gentleness to his tone.
âNot happening.â You deadpan, the one thing that kept you comfortable was knowing that Megatron was behind this cell and heâd never see the stars again with absolutely no knowledge on anything about you, other than some basic information. The last thing you want to hear is him calling out your designation with his velvet, silky voice⊠even if it did sound strangely hot. Wait what? You quickly threw away that thought as soon as it came, mentally scolding yourself for even thinking such a thing. why would you even think that?
âThey donât teach you manners at Autobot boot camp, do they?â A hint of annoyance laced his tone. But he knew it was not a matter. Heâd find out your name, eventually.
âNah. Not really.â You couldnât help but chuckle slightly at his annoyance. Megatron didnât like the taste of his own medicine, it would seem. Who wouldâve guessed?
âBesides, professionalism. Youâre the only prisoner that Iâve met who wants to know a guard personallyâ
Megatron holds back a snort. âProfessionalism? You? Donât mock my intellect.â He retorts, Megatron thought you were quite hilariously casual with your duties. When he found out heâd be under the supervision of a senior guard, he was expecting some rough and tough old mecha that was absolutely no-nonsense. Not a slightly stern and strangely amusing bot.
âVery funny.â You mutter, optics narrowing at him in disapproval. Oh, how he cherished your look of reproval. âIâm not even permitted to speak to you. Its against the code of conduct.â
There it was. That stick up your pipes. âSo prim and properâŠâ The ex-warlord rolled his red optics as he remarked. Such a prude but it was a part of your charm. It oddly suited you. Ultra Magnus definitely wouldâve liked the way you do things but he was glad you weren't working under the Magnus, oddly.
âBut even then, why do you want to know that?â You are curious, whatâs with the sudden interest? Wasnât he the one that thought of you as just âentertainmentâ? He just grinned at your little question.
âHm. Like you said, pet: âNot happeningâ.â
âTouchĂ©.â
The boredom mustâve been chewing him out if he was interested in your life, that was what you could conclude and honestly, you could care less if he died from his own boredom. But oddly enough, despite how weary you are around him (and how you fear him on the inside), a part deep within your spark would slightly miss this strange back-and-forth banter between the two of you.
âWait. Pet?â Youâre taken off-guard by his new nickname. Megatron always had one for you. This had to be by far the worst. A sly grin formed across his faceplates, you were so reactive to his words at times. Made his little game all the more fun.
âMhm. You heard me, pet.â He cooed with a teasing softness, his velvety voice and itâs lilt provides emphasis on his playful mocking. He had that usual cocky look to his faceplates that you wish you could just slap off of him. Scratch that, you would not miss this banter.
âAgain. Youâre the one in a cage.â You retort in an effort to get back at him, slightly gritting your denta as your faceplates begin to form a sour expression. He was trying to get under your plating again and it was working, Megatron had your personality pinned down and discredit at this point, he was always an observant mechâ He knew how to make you take the bait, hook, line and sinker.
âMaybe so but youâre the little guard dog following orders like some organic puppy.â Megatronâs tone was as mocking as ever. The anger continuing to bubble up. âSo devoted to protecting your master, arenât you?â He swore he saw your vents puff out steam at that one. It was all so amusing.
âNever compare me to an organic ever again,â You felt a slight disgust at the prospect of being compared to an organic which Megatron took notice of and chuckled, he shared your disdain. âAnd even then, Iâm quite sure that pets donât paid.â Working in the most hardcore penal facility on Cybertron did come with a massive paycheck.
âA monetary minded Autobot I see?â Megatron remarks, a smug snarkiness dripping from his tone. He was smart enough to know that wasnât the reason why any bot would pick a job in a maximum security prison. âYou must get along well with Swindle in the other wing then hm?â
You scoff, taking offence in being compared to Swindle. Unsavory memories of having to stop the cheapskate fraud from selling energon cubes, literally just the coverings guised as âspecial grade prison foodâ to Blitzwing creeped onto your processor. A frown took over your features. âPlease. Heâd sell his own protoform if he could.â
That made Megatron laugh, it startled you. A deep, rumbling laugh. A genuine laughâ not him being amused or snarky or smug or teasing. Actual humor. You had never heard him laugh. The thought of Swindle selling his literal life was funny to him, strangely. Your priceless âcaught off guardâ face made it all the more hilarious to him. You really were his only source of entertainment. Megatron hated law-enforcement. It was a well known fact. But to your dismay and his surprise, you mightâve wiggled your way up to be an exception but the proud mech would never admit that.
âOh, youâre adorable...â Its slightly out of character, but he says this between held back laughs.
â...excuse me?â
second one this might take longer than i thought... also, this one is kinda old so im not very proud of it. im gonna go back to the few requests i have left now

The Price Of Greed
You tell a story about a young sparkling and Leviathan, the great beast of the sea.
(Author's note: Kinda jumped around with this idea, but finally got it out. Inspired by the Epic song Ruthlesness. I decided that one of Limos's names will be Leviathan. Kinda made up a new origin story for the sparkeaters. )
Warnings: mentions of the cybertron's caste system, reader having empurata, poverty, falling, and nearly getting eaten, mentions of a massacre, reader being blinded and crippled, angst, floods, curses, and mentions of the war (this fic is pretty long, a novel worth).
------------------------------------------------------------
Dark clouds blanketed the sky. The crumbling echo of thunder sang in the air as furious bolts of lightning danced above the waves of Cybertronâs sea. The water flowed with the wind, crashing near the gray beaches and hills of your homely abode.
You stood near the entrance of your home, watching and listening to the thunder in the sky and the waves of the sea. It distracted you from the sight of the city that lay in ruins in the distance, flooded and ravaged by the fangs of war that crippled your homeworld. It was a sight you were used to, despite its contrast to your intact home, one of the last safe places on Cybertron.
You sometimes wondered how it had come to this, but deep down, you knew it was the arrogance of the Senate and its senators, who believed themselves above anything else and thought their actions would bear no consequences.Â
That age was now long gone, replaced by a war fought by factions who had long forgotten their original causes.Â
Listening to the thunder and watching the sea gave you a sense of comfort and nostalgia for the things of the past. You had no fear of the sea that could destroy anything in its path or drown anyone who would dare to venture into its depths. You never did. You also do not need to worry about it rising beyond its ordinary level and destroying your home, just as it had consumed the city. He had made sure of that, just like how your home was one of the last places that still had a flowing source of energon.Â
âI donât want to eat anymore of this!â a voice echoed from within your home.Â
You glanced inside, where the light burned. It was time for supper, and it sounded like one of the sparklings had trouble having their fill for the night.Â
Leaning on your cane, you walked inside your home, an old temple once built for one of the thirteen primes. Now, a home to you and those whom you have welcomed under its roof.Â
Inside, in the middle of the room, sat a fire pit, which provided light and warmth to your home. Around it sat the residents, some your old friends and some refugees who had nowhere else to go to flee from the war that had waged on for several cycles now.
Locket, one of the refugees and a former caretaker of newborn sparklings, tried to feed one of the sparklings some energon.Â
âZephyr. You need to have your fill. Otherwise, youâll be grumpy in the morning,â Locket tried to convince the sparkling, who was barely three cycles old.Â
âIâm not hungry!â the young mechling looked away from the bowl offered to him, crossing his arms.Â
âYou say that, but then you are gonna complain in the morning due to an empty tank,â Locked sighed tiredly.Â
âCanât we have something else? We eat this every day,â Zephyr said.Â
âAnd you should be grateful for that. If we were anywhere else, we woundât probably even have this to sustain ourselves,â Locket replied.Â
âI got this Locket,â Hitch, one of the other residents, pitched in.Â
âListen up, kidos. If you donât eat your energon, you become a nasty sparkeater,â Hitch started.Â
âWhat?â Zephyr snapped his optics toward the bot.
âYou can become a sparkeater if you don't eat your energon?â Starflare, a young femmeling, asked with a frightful tone.Â
âYeah. Donât you know thereâs a terrible curse?â Hitch asked, only intensifying the little sparklingâs fright.
âThe legends say that if you refuse to take your energon, you begin starving, and when you become starved enough, you start craving not energon, but sparks. And then you become a hungry sparkeater, that hunts down other little disobedient sparklings like you,â Hitch exaggerated.Â
The sparklings gasped and hid behind each other.Â
âHitchâŠToo much,â Locked shook her head.Â
âWhat? You know, sparkeaters are real,â Hitch shrugged as he sat down.Â
âIâm not scared of sparkeaters,â Zephyr said, crossing his arms. Despite the front, it was clear he was scared.Â
You chuckled as you approached them.Â
âHaving fun scaring the little ones?â you asked as you sat down.Â
âApologies, (Name). It seems someone is just having trouble taking their energon for the night,â Locket glanced at Zephyr.Â
âBut itâs so bland!â Zephyr whined. âAnd we eat it every day,âÂ
Before Locket could scold him, you chuckled. âThat is understandable. Consuming the same thing every day can be exhausting.â
âBut it is important to take care of yourself, and if you donât have anything else, you should take what is at hand,â you said. âOtherwise, you might have nothing to fill your hunger, and you would be sick all the time.âÂ
âWould you like to be sick constantly, Zephyr?â you asked.Â
âNoâŠâ Zephyr muttered.Â
âThen perhaps taking your dinner will prevent that from happening,â you said. âYou know what, if you take your fill, once the storm passes, we could go to the fields and see if we can find any good harvest for the next supper. How does that sound?â you asked.Â
âCan I get the best rust sticks?â he asked.Â
âHey, not fair! I want rust sticks!â another sparkling, Crackjaw, exclaimed.Â
You chuckled. âOnly if you take your energon for the night,âÂ
âOkay!â Zephyr took the bowl and began drinking the energon.Â
âI want rust sticks, so Iâm taking my energon too,â Crackjaw began drinking his bowl of energon.Â
âFinally⊠they took their energon,â Locked exhaled, even if the two mechlings began competing with each other.Â
â(Name). Can you really become a sparkeater if you donât take your energon?â Starflare asked curiously.Â
You looked at her softly. âYou do not need to worry. To become a sparkeater, you must live a life of creed or bear the curse of Limos.âÂ
âThe curse of Limos?â Starflare questioned, tilting her helm curiously.Â
âYes. You see, sparkeaters were born from the curse of Limos, one of Unicronâs four harbingers, â you replied.Â
âIt is said that if you bear the curse of Limos, you will know never-ending hunger. You will try to quench your hunger with energon, but no amount will be enough to end your thirst. And then, when you became dry and hollow, you became hungry for sparks inside other living beings, losing all sense of self,â you explained. âNever to return to who you used to be,âÂ
âWhy did Limos create such a curse?â Starflare asked.Â
âBecause he hated Cybertronians. All Harbingers of Unicron hated Primusâs creations. Thatâs what all the stories say,â Zephyr replied.Â
âBut thatâs what the stories say. But the truth might be much more than that. You see, the Harbingers never hate without a reason,â you said. âA few things Limos hated most were injustice and unfairness,âÂ
âThen what was the reason he created sparkeaters?â Crackjaw asked. Â
âThe Senate that once ruled Cybertron did something really bad to him. â Hitch said. âThey hurt his child,â he added.Â
âLimos had a child?â Starflare asked with a surprised tone.Â
âYes. Limos had a child, whom he greatly loved. You see, even the Harbingers were capable of love. And it was that love that brought the birth of sparkeaters and the Sea of the Damned,â you glanced toward the sea soutside.Â
âWhy is it called the Sea of the Damned?â Starflare asked.Â
You hummed. âPerhaps I could interest you with a story. It might help us pass the time till the storm calms down,â you suggested.Â
âYes, please!â Starflare answered eagerly.Â
Zephyr scoffed. âI donât need bedtime stories,â
âAh, but I think you will be interested in this one, â you said.
âTell me, have you ever heard of the story of the Leviathan?â you asked.Â
âThe Leviathan?â Crackjaw questioned.Â
âThe mysterious beast of dweths, who devours anything in its path. And an old fairytale. Turns out Leviathan was Limos himself,â Hitch revealed.
âThat is true, but I have a version, that might answer many of your questions and how sparkeaters and the Sea of the Damned came to be,â you said.Â
"Tell us, please!" Starflare exclaimed.
It made you chuckle. âAlright, let me tell you a story about the Leviathan, and a sparkling he loved like his ownâŠâ You started.Â
âŠ
Long before the war, when Cybertron was still ruled by the Senate, you lived far out on the plains, where the farming communities resided. Despite their low status in the system, they cared for you as best they could, cultivating whatever they could to provide for you while paying taxes set by the system. You were a young, sparkling back then, and you apparently suffered from a condition known as Empurata.
Your community explained that it was a cruel procedure, typically inflicted on criminals, but someone had unlawfully done it to you.
It left you conflicted for a time, but you quickly overcame it. You had grown used to living with a single optic and clawed hands. Besides, you couldnât remember anything when it happened, or anyone who could have done it to you.
All you knew was that you were a sparkling left on your own, and your community was kind enough to take you in.
Living on the plains was challenging. Due to the energon shortage, it was hard to farm anything, and the Senate didnât exactly care for the people, especially those in the lower class.
You and others sometimes had to venture into the dangerous areas of Cybertronâs surface to find energon, which often did not lead to success.Â
One day, you and your friends ventured into the canyons in search of energon, drawn by the many caves scattered throughout the area.
While exploring one of the caves, the ground suddenly gave way beneath you. You plunged into what appeared to be a river of transparent liquid.
Helpless against the current, you were swept deeper and deeper into Cybertronâs underworld, until at last, you emerged into what seemed like an oceanâvast, alien, and eerily still.
You were terrified as you drifted through what could only be described as a vast, dark abyss. As you sank deeper, you found enormous mechanical creatures that glided effortlessly through the strange space around you.
One of themâa monstrous being with rows of sharp, gleaming teethânoticed you and immediately surged forward, its jaws wide open.
As you were not built to move in an environment like this, there was no way for you to flee from the monster. With no way to escape, you shut your optic and braced yourself, certain you were about to become the creatureâs meal.
But then, just before the beast could strike, another presence collided with it, knocking it away. The force of their struggle stirred powerful currents, tossing you helplessly through the strange, liquid void.
And when you finally regained control and steadied yourself, you saw the creature that had tried to devour you, bitten in half, its remains slowly sinking into the depths below.
Then you saw something that left you in awe.
It was another creatureâfar larger than the beast from beforeâyet it bore no terrifying features. With a sweeping tail and luminous fins that glowed a brilliant energon-blue, it moved through the water with breathtaking grace. From deep within its form came resonant, melodic tones, as if it were singing a song only the depths could understand.
You had never seen anything like it. And despite its immense size, you felt no fear.
It slowly turned its head until you were face to face with its optic. Compared to it, you were no more than a pebble. Yet there was no hostility in its gazeâonly curiosity. It studied you with a calm, intelligent presence.
âWhat are you doing so far in these depths, little one?â you heard a voice in your mind.Â
You were left stunned as you realized the creature was speaking to you, not with words, but directly into your mind. In that moment, only one name surfaced in your thoughts: Leviathan, the great, devouring beast of the depths.Â
âWe were looking for energon,â you said aloud, your voice trembling. âBut the ground gave way, and I fell. The current brought me here.â
You hesitated, then dared to ask, âPlease⊠do you know where we could find energon?â
Leviathanâs massive optic regarded you in silence. Within it, you saw what you could only describe as indifference and⊠sadness.Â
âThere is no energon here for you,â the voice echoed in your mind. âReturn to the surface.â
âI⊠I donât know how!â you said.
Without warning, Leviathan moved. The water around you surged as powerful currents swept you away. You tumbled through the depths, disoriented and weightless.
Before you could even comprehend what had happened, you broke through a surface.Â
You found yourself inside a cave, floating in a still pool of water. Slowly, you climbed out, your limbs heavy and your mind dazed. As you stepped outside, blinking against the light, you realizedâyou were back at the canyon.
Your friends and community members were stunned to see you when you returned. Relief washed over their faces as they rushed to your side. When they couldnât find you, they had nearly accepted that youâd perished in the fall.
They brought you to the local medic, and to everyoneâs amazement, you had survived with only a few scratches and dents.
You tried to explain what you had seenâthat you had met Leviathan. But they didnât believe you. They said it was the aftershock, a hallucination brought on by trauma. What you needed, they insisted, was rest.
You were certain the creature you had encountered was Leviathanâthe mythical being said to dwell in a hidden sea beneath Cybertron, a monster of endless hunger and ancient legend.
But the Leviathan you met had saved you. He had guided you back to the surface. He had acted nothing like the stories.
What lingered with you most wasnât his size or powerâit was the sorrow, the anger, and the profound loneliness in his gaze.
And it left you wondering⊠why?
âŠ
After a few days of recovery, you returned to the cave where you had resurfaced from the strange sea. You knew trying to reach that place again would be far too dangerousâyet the desire to see Leviathan once more lingered in your spark.
You remembered his voice, how it had resonated like a song. And you wondered⊠could music carry your gratitude to him?
You had heard that some oceans could carry sound across great distances. So you brought with you an instrumentâone that the others had taught you to playâand began to play.
The notes echoed softly through the cave, drifting into the stillness like a message carried on the current. You played a song. Then another.
And you hoped⊠that somewhere, in the depths below, he was listening.
Then, something mystical happened.
The world around you faded, and suddenly, you saw the strange sea once moreâvast, dark, and shimmering with otherworldly light. And there, suspended in its depths, was Leviathan.
It was as if your mind had crossed into that hidden realm, allowing you to see and hear him without ever leaving the cave.
âWhy have you come back here?â his voice echoed once more in your mind.
âI wanted to thank you for saving me,â you replied. âBut I didnât know how to reach you without putting myself in danger⊠so I thought maybe the echo of music could.â
You hesitated, then added softly, âI also thought it might cheer you up.â
âCheer me⊠up?â he repeated, the words slow and unfamiliar, as if tasting them for the first time.
âWhen we met⊠when I looked into your optics,â you said gently, âI felt like you were sad. Angry. Maybe even a little lonely.â
You paused, then added, âAnd when I heard your song, I thought⊠maybe music could help. Maybe it could make you feel a little less alone.â
Leviathan was silent.
He stared at you, and for a moment, you feared you had said too much. The elders in your community always warned that assuming things about others was impoliteâdisrespectful, even.
You opened your mouth to apologize, but thenâŠ
âThank you,â he said at last. âYour gesture⊠was thoughtful.â
His approving tone gave you the courage to offer more songs, and he accepted. You played for him, each melody a gift carried through the strange current between your minds.
You told him your name. And in return, he allowed you to call him Leviathan.
When you returned home, something unexpected awaited you. The members of your community greeted you with joyâthey had discovered a fresh clutch of energon, enough to sustain everyone for a while.
It felt like more than a coincidence.
Somewhere deep inside, you couldnât shake the feeling that your meeting with Leviathan had something to do with it. As if, in some quiet, unseen way⊠he had given something back.
âŠÂ
After that second encounter, you began visiting Leviathan more often, always when he welcomed it. He wasnât the most talkative, but he listened. Sometimes, when you played, he would even harmonize with you, his deep, resonant tones blending with your melodies in haunting, beautiful ways.
He even offered quiet guidance, helping you refine your musical skills with surprising insight. And after each visit, your community seemed to grow luckier in finding energon.Â
Despite the old stories and fearsome rumours about him, Leviathan never appeared cruel or terrifying to you. He actually seemed like he was someone who just struggled socially.
After many visits, Leviathan confided in you.
He admitted he was not fond of Cybertronians. Long ago, some had wronged him deeplyâso deeply that the pain still echoed in his voice. They had taken his siblings from him, and he had never been able to find them. That loss had left him angry⊠and unbearably lonely.
In your sweet, sparkling innocence, you offered an idea that he could come live with you, so he wouldn't be lonely anymore. Despite having a place to call home in your community, you were technically a sparkling with no close family.Â
Your words seemed to genuinely surprise him.Â
Leviathan then asked if you would like him to come visit you.Â
You said yes, without hesitation. The only worry that crossed your mind was him being a colossal being dwelling in a hidden sea beneath Cybertron.
You didn't know how your friends and community would react to him. But you had no doubts that they would be startled seeing a creature like him suddenly come out of the earth, and perhaps assume the worst.Â
Leviathan assured you there was no need to worry. âI will see you on your next visit,â he said.
His words left you both curious and eager. What did he mean?
When you returned to the cave, you were met with a sight that stopped you in your tracks.
Standing there was a tall mech, his frame sleek and powerful, adorned in vibrant shades of blue that shimmered like energon under starlight. But what truly caught your attention were his opticsâunlike any you had ever seen.
His left optic glowed a brilliant blue, clear and bright. But his right optic was dark, with a pale white iris at its centerâlike a lone star shining in the night sky.
It took you a moment to realize that the mech standing before you was Leviathan, now in his robot mode.
How he had managed to shrink from his massive alt form, or how he had emerged from the depths to walk the surface, didnât linger long in your mind. Those questions were swept away by your excitement and eagerness to introduce him to your friends and community.
Leviathan followed you to your home, where he met your friends and the rest of your community. At first, they were wary; he was unlike any Cybertronian they had ever seen. To them, he looked like someone from the upper caste, perhaps even royalty. But when he showed nothing but politeness and humility, they allowed him to be, even though they were perplexed by him sharing the same name as the mythical beast.Â
As you showed him around your home, his attention was quickly drawn to its poor condition. He asked questions, quietly observing the worn structures and the modest lives of those around him.
It was during one of the conversations with one of your community members that he began to learn more about your struggles and about you.
In one of those conversations, he would learn that your appearance was the result of a practice called Empurata. His expression would darken when he learned what kind of practice it was and that someone had been cruel enough to do it on a sparkling like you, then leaving you on the streets to fend for yourself.Â
It was perhaps a blessing that you were taken in by the farmersâotherwise, you might not have survived for long.
At the end of the visit, Leviathan pulled you to the side and asked if you would like him to stay with you and become your official parental figure.Â
He explained that he had spoken with members of your community about restoring the nearby abandoned temple, once built in honor of one of the Thirteen Primes. Since no one truly cared for it anymore, they had agreed to let him repair and repurpose it. He wanted to make it into a home for both of you.
The idea that he wanted to adopt you nearly brought you to tears.
You asked if he was sure.
He nodded. He told you he had grown fond of you, and that the thought of leaving you, still so young and full of wonder, felt wrong to him.
You accepted, throwing your arms around him. He embraced you in return, lifting you gently into his arms and carrying you to the old temple.
There, you watched in awe as he used his mystical powers to restore the crumbling structure. Stone and metal shifted, light filled the halls, and warmth returned to a place long forgotten.
Before long, the temple was no longer a ruinâit was a home.
And for the first time in your life⊠You had someone to call family.
âŠÂ
Under Leviathanâs care, you grew and learned many things from him. He taught you how to read and write, and introduced you to musical arts you hadnât even known existed. He even shared the secrets of his powers, and in time, you learned to control water.
But most importantly, he taught you what it felt like to have a family.
He wasnât ashamed to admit that he was inexperienced when it came to raising someone, so he often asked for help from your community. Because of this humility, your community gradually warmed to him.
With his presence, your fortunes improvedâenergon became easier to find, and the harvests grew more abundant.
It was a time of great change.
You grew into a gifted young bot, quickly becoming one of your communityâs most talented musicians. You once dreamed of performing in the city, but as someone from a poor farming district, such opportunities were out of reach.
Your community often spoke cautiously about the cities. They were said to be dangerous, unwelcoming places, and few ever dared to venture there. So, you found contentment in playing for your own people and neighboring farming communities, where your music brought joy and unity.
However, as time passed, the energon shortage became concernly worse. Even the energon found by your improved luck was not nearly enough to stabilize things.Â
You spoke about it with Leviathan, who then pulled you to the side and told you how he was responsible for the energon shortage.Â
He explained that he possessed the power to manipulate energon and control the flow of its natural sources. Long ago, when he and his siblings were taken from their home and imprisoned, something inside him broke. After escaping and failing to find them, he made the choice to deny the Cybertronians their energon.Â
He dried up the energon rivers, fountains, and everything that once flowed freely, cutting off the planet's lifeblood. It was also because of him that crystallized energon became difficult to find, forcing many to seek it off-world. All of this was due to a great wrong done to him and his siblings.
You were surprised, while you were aware that he had siblings and that the ancient Cybertronians had wronged him. However, you had no idea that Leviathan himself was the cause of the energon shortage.
Yet, you understood why he acted as he did and the reasons behind his sadness and anger.
As your community continued to struggle, you pleaded with Leviathan.
You asked him to give Cybertronians a chanceâto believe that change was possible. You wanted to prove that your kind could rise above their flaws, unite, and care for Cybertron as it deserved.
Leviathan was hesitant. The wounds of the past ran deep. But after a long silence, he agreed.
He would give you a challengeâa test to see if unity and purpose could still be found among your people. To start small, he tasked you with restoring one of the old energon wells, long dry and forgotten. If you succeeded, he would allow it to flow once more.
You accepted without hesitation.
âŠÂ
The task Leviathan had given you was far from easy.Â
At first, you turned to your community for help, but many were reluctant. They didnât believe the well would ever flow again, even if it were cleaned. Convincing them proved difficult. So, with Leviathanâs quiet approval, you bent the truth just a little. You told them you had dreamed of the well flowing once more.
That small spark of hope was enough to sway a few of your friends. After all, your luck had been unusually good lately, despite the hardships.
Together, you began the work. Cleaning the well was gruelingâmud-caked, rusted, and long forgotten. Still, you pressed on. Slowly, others came to curiously watch. Even Leviathan appeared, observing from a distance with quiet, focused attention.
And then the work was done.Â
The well was clean, and its structure was restored.Â
You and your friends waited, searching for any sign, any shimmer or pulse of energon. But nothing happened.Â
Your friends, tired and disheartened, started to question whether it had all been for nothing. And you worried if this wasnât enough to please Leviathan.
âDig below your feet,â Leviathan whispered into your mind.
You looked down, sensing a strange pressure beneath the ground. Trusting your instincts, you took a daring step forward and drove your shovel into the earth.
To your delight, a glimmer of energon began to seep through the soil.
Cheers erupted around you as your friends watched the well come to life.
Then, with a sudden burst, energon sprayed upward, flooding the well in a brilliant surge. The force lifted you and a few others off your feet, and you floated briefly before splashing back down, laughing with pure joy.
The sound of the eruption drew others from nearby communities. They arrived in awe, eyes wide at the sight of the once-dry well now overflowing with energon.
You looked around and saw your people gathering with buckets, their faces lit with hope and excitement.
And in the distance, standing tall and silent, was Leviathan.
He met your gaze and gave you a slow, approving nod.
âŠÂ
After witnessing the well fill with energon once more, hope began to bloom among your community and those from neighboring settlements. Inspired by your success, Leviathan gave you a new challenge: to clean one of the lakes long choked with waste.
You shared the task with your community, presenting it as another dream, just like before. This time, they didnât hesitate. The miracle of the well had stirred hope within them.Â
Together, you began clearing the lake, removing layers of waste left behind by those from the cities. Bots from other communities joined in, drawn by the promise of more energon and the growing sense of purpose.
Perhaps hope was what you all needed most..Â
Leviathan watched from the side, silent as alwaysâbut this time, he seemed genuinely impressed by the number of bots who had come together to help. You hoped this would soften his view of Cybertronians⊠and perhaps convince him to restore the natural flow of energon for good.
With united effortâand a subtle clue from Leviathanâyou uncovered a pressure point beneath the lakebed. Moments later, the lake erupted with a surge of energon, nearly sending you flying back to the shore.
Cheers rang around the lake.Â
For the first time in eons, Cybertron flowed with fresh energon. Bots drank from it, filled their containers, and celebrated the return of something they had nearly forgotten.
You hoped this would be the change your world needed. That the Senate would finally see reason and rethink its ways.
But oh⊠how wrong you were.
âŠ
When they came, you should have known it was the omen of your incoming misfortune.Â
The news of the lake filling itself with energon again spread fast, and someone from the Senate had come to see the lake for themselves.Â
As you and your neighboring communities did not hold the Senate or the city-dwelling bots in high regard, you were skeptical of the senatorâs presence and that of his guard. Still, you made an effort to be polite and hospitable.
You told the senator about the cleaning of the well and the lake, and how they were once again filled with energon. Together, you decided to take only amounts that was necessary. You wanted to avoid drying them up again, and even began planning whether other places could be cleaned as well.
You tried to convince him that, since Cybertron itself was a living being, caring for it and taking only what was needed might allow many of the energon rivers and sources to flow once more.
The senator promised to look into it and perhaps share the ideas with others in the Senate before departing back to the city.
It left you hopeful, but it was only the beginning of what would later bring great suffering and grief.
âŠ
Before you even knew it, armed forces had been sent from the city. They surrounded the lake and even the well, cutting off access for you and the neighboring communities. They claimed it was to protect the sources from those with less noble intentions. However, that claim quickly lost its meaning when they began preventing you from drawing energonâand started draining the sources themselves.
You tried to reason with the senator who had been placed in charge of the operation. You warned that if the lake and well were completely drained, it could take years for them to refill. There was even a chance they might never recover. While Leviathan could control energon and its flow, he could not create it, so he would not be able to replenish what was lost.
But the senator only explained that, although the consequences had been considered, he and the Senate had agreed to extract the energon for long-term storage. These were difficult times, he said, and it was best to secure the energon for the future.
He assured you that, since your united communities had helped the sources refill once before, the Senate would ensure you received your fair share in time.
Neither you nor the other communities believed him.
You knew the Senate would not honor its word. They would keep the energon for themselves and the higher class. Your communities belonged to the lower class, so they would happily leave you to perish in starvation, even if you contributed to the societyâs sustenance.Â
Anger spread quickly among the bots. It was justified. All your efforts to clean the well and the lake were being erased by the Senateâs decision. You had agreed to share the lake and protect its well-being together, and now someone else is intentionally draining it dry without caring about the consequences.Â
The armed forces, bearing the badge of the Autobots, tried to intimidate you. But their presence only fueled the growing fury among your people.
And then, the shots were fired.
It happened in the blink of an optic. One moment, bots were yelling and cussing out the senator, and then one of the guards shot someone down, killing the poor bot.Â
And then they began shooting down everyone.Â
As you were impoverished farmers, there was nothing you could do. Those who tried to fight back were killed in an instant. Even those who ran away were gunned down.Â
It was a massacre.Â
You helplessly watched as many of your friends and bots you knew were killed. You tried to help them and take cover, but then one of the guards threw a grenade, causing an explosion near you. One of its shrapnel pieces struck you in your optic, blinding you and inflicting incredible pain. Then a bullet hit you in the spine, causing you to fall and black out.Â
You later regained consciousness. Unable to see and feeling excruciating pain in your spine, you could barely move. All you could hear was silence. There was a terrible smell of burned metal, and you could feel your hands covered in energon.Â
It left you in shock to realise there was no one alive. They had killed everyone.Â
You heard the senator and his guards come when they noticed you were still online. You feared for your life, but then the senator decided to leave you unharmed as you were no threat to them.Â
You asked them why they massacred your people. You pleaded with them to reconcile before Leviathan could learn what they had done. Leviathan was no evil by spark, but he was easily angered when it came to injustice. He would undoubtedly be enraged and do something terrible.Â
The senator only laughed when you mentioned Leviathanâs name, mocking you for believing in a myth. You tried to convince him that Leviathan was realâthat he was your adoptive sireâbut your words only earned more taunts from the one who had ordered the massacre.
He told you to go home to your sire, sneering that no one would lift a finger for a bot with an empurata. You were to remember your place in the system.
Mockingly, he gestured toward the path that led back to where you lived. And so, under the watchful eyes of the senator and his guards, you limped away in pain, leaning heavily on a stick you picked from the ground to support you.
âŠ
The walk back to your home was excruciating. With your blindness, you couldnât tell how far you still had to go, and the pain in your spine brought forth countless tears. You eventually found your way back when you heard the sounds of wind chimes from one of your community membersâ houses. It brought both relief and sorrowârelief because you had made it, and sorrow because the owner of that house would never return.
All you could hear was silence. Everyone had been slaughtered in the massacre.
Unable to go any further, you called out to Leviathan.Â
âSire! Sire! Please, I need you!â you exclaimed, energon falling from your damaged optic.Â
Leviathan appeared to you in an instant.Â
His voice was filled with shock when he spoke, clearly horrified by your state. The moment you felt his arms around you, you shook with grief and anguished relief.Â
He picked you up and took you back to your shared home.Â
Inside your home, he manipulated the energon in your veins to stop the bleeding and pull the bullet embedded in your spine out. He then gave you fresh energon to replace the energon you had lost.Â
Although he was able to stop the bleeding by manipulating the energon, he did not possess the power to heal. So, he attempted to leave in search of your local medic.
But you stopped him before he could go. You told him what had happenedâthat there had been a massacre, and no one had survived. There was no one left who could fix you.
You told him about the Senateâs decision and how it had led to the slaughter.Â
After you were finished, Leviathan was quiet. Dreadful silence filled your home. Even if you could not see him, you could tell he was boiling with rage. It only left you more fearful of what he might do.Â
It was like the saying â calm before the storm.Â
You pleaded with him not to do anything terrible or cause harm to those who were innocent of the Senateâs actions.Â
He let out a sigh before promising you that he would not punish those who had no part in the massacre. However, since a great wrong had been committed, a harsh punishment must be inflicted.
You pleaded with him not to do it. Even if he did something to punish the guilty, innocents could be caught in the crossfire.Â
He apologized to you, admitting it was a promise he could not keep.
If he remained, nothing would change, and he would be ignoring his very existence⊠as a Harbinger of Unicron.
The revelation left you in shock. You didnât try to stop him as he left the home he had built for you.
You had only known him as the Leviathan from the stories, a monster that dwelled in the depths, with a hunger like that of a black hole. But the stories never spoke of Leviathan as one of Unicronâs children, one of the four Harbingers.
And yet, it all made sense now.
Leviathan, your adoptive sire, was Limos, the Devourer.
âŠÂ
Alone in your home, you could only understand what happened next by listening to the world around you. After Leviathanâs departure, there was an earthquakeâand then a great flood. The sea, once hidden beneath Cybertronâs crust, rose to the surface, unleashing massive waves. You heard the distant screams of bots as they were swept away, and from the sounds of explosions and collapsing structures, you could only guess that the city had been consumed by the sea.
You could only imagine how many were injuredâor perishedâin the flood.
Then came the storm. Thunder unlike any you had ever heard shook the skies. In the air, you heard tones that sounded almost like music, leaving you to wonder if it was Leviathan conducting his punishment upon the guilty.
When the storm finally passed, silence followed. The only thing different being the sea that had taken its place near your home; it did not retreat back beneath Cybertron's crust, and most likely allowed the city to stay flooded.Â
You learned what happened next from a friend who found you in your home.Â
Apparently, your sireâLimosâhad appeared in the city before those who ordered the draining of the lake and the massacre of your people. There, he had cast a curse.
Everyone responsible for the massacre, and all who had consumed the energon blessed by him, would know endless hunger. They would be driven mad by greed, until they desired nothing but the sparks of living beings.
At first, you didnât understand what the curse would becomeâuntil, two weeks later, when you heard news of the survivors' changing. They had turned into vicious creatures that hunted and devoured sparks of other Cybertronians, spreading terror across Cybertron.
They came to be known as sparkeaters.
The drowned city was abandoned, and news of a Harbinger of Unicron appearing spread like wildfire. The Senate tried to mask the truth, claiming it had all been a terrible natural disaster. But the emergence of the sparkeaters made their lies impossible to believe.
Chaos spread. The Senateâs rule began to crumble. People no longer showed supportâor obedienceâto their laws. The disaster had been their undoing, and while it was said that only a Prime chosen by the Matrix could defeat a Harbinger, no such Prime had been chosen for eons. So, there was no one who could have stopped Limos.
And then, a few cycles later, a war broke out.
The truth of the disaster was buried, forgotten with the ruins of the city. There was nothing left thereâonly the sea that had taken permanent residence.
It came to be known as the Sea of the Damned.
Your sire returned to you once.
You did not approve of what he had done, but you understood him. He told you he had reunited with his siblings and was leaving Cybertron. Before departing, he left you the abode, a source of energon, and a guardian to ensure no harm would come to you again. He also gave you a blessingâone that granted you full dominion over the Sea of the Damned.
And then, he left.
That was the last time you ever heard from him.
After the war broke out, you welcomed many refugees into your home, so long as they respected the rules and did not provoke the wrath of your protector. To help provide necessary sustenance, you taught them farming as it was one of the last things you had from your perished community.Â
One of them, a weary medic, managed to repair your optic, allowing you to see once more. Unfortunately, he lacked the resources and tools to fix your spine, but you didnât mind. You had grown used to your walking stick and managed well enough.
The world had changed. But by the sea, you found a somber kind of comfort. Many terrible things had happened; you lost many friends and one of your only family members, but for the sake of your new friends and family, you pushed forward as their protector.Â
âŠÂ
"That's so sad. If the Senate hadnât done what they did, maybe there wouldnât be any sparkeaters," Starflare said.
"Maybe⊠maybe not," you replied. "But because of their flawed ways, their downfall was inevitable."
"They hurt so many bots. Thatâs why thereâs a war," you added quietly.
"I heard Limos had a child," Hitch said. "But Iâve never heard that version before. It sounded like⊠you were there."
"Maybe⊠I wasâŠ" you murmured.
"What happened to Limosâs child was terrible," Crackjaw said. "No wonder he was upset."
"I had no idea the Senate was that evil," Zephyr whispered.
"Wait! What happened to Limosâs child then?" Starflare asked eagerly.
"Letâs just say⊠Limosâs child stayed in the home they once shared. And when others needed a place to feel safe, they welcomed them. They found a new family."
"How could Limosâs child still be kind after everything they went through?" Zephyr asked.
"Because they believed that showing kindness and compassion was the greatest strength of all," you said gently.
"The Senate was full of selfish and greedy bots, and they paid a heavy price for their actions. Arrogance brings downfall, but understanding and kindness will lead you to a brighter future."
"Uh, I never want to upset someone like Limos. I will be kind through and through," Starflare decided.
"Me too. I will also appreciate what I have," Crackjaw said. "I would rather drink this than have nothing," he motioned with his bowl of energon.
"That is a good mindset," you said with a proud tone.
"What about you, Zephyr?" you asked.
"I think I want to be kind like Limos's child, but I also want to be someone who doesn't tolerate injustice... like Limos," he replied.
"He might have been wrong flooding an entire city and creating the sparkeaters, but it doesn't mean it wasn't entirely justified," he added.
"I want to be able to stand on my feet and do what is must to protect my friends," he looked at you.
You looked at him softly. "I believe you will be able to do so as long as you do not let anger control your actions."
Outside, the storm began to calm.
â(Name), could you... Maybe play a song?â Zephyr asked softly.
"Of course, if thatâs what you wish, little ones," you said and glanced at the others.
"Yes, please!" Starflare smiled.
"I want to hear a song!" Crackjaw added.
You giggled. "Very well then," you said, lifting your instrument. You began to play a melodyâone you had once played for your sireâas the storm slowly faded, giving way to your song.

Ok, just imagine an opera singer reborn on cybertron as a miner and singing as they mine or they can heal miners with their voice , maybe they get a job performing for the elite and visiting the mines when their done!
That's a really neat idea. Though if they end up reborn as a miner, I imagine them a bit bigger than a regular cybertronian (gentle giant vibes?). And from what I've seen in the IDW comics, the miners are pretty roughly treated by society. And being an outlier seems pretty dangerous at that era, so I imagine that the Opera singer would have to keep their ability a secret from the higher-ups. I don't think it would be too hard because I think most of the Opera singer's miner friends would agree to keep their ability hidden.
One way I think the Opera singer would get an opportunity to sing on stage again is through Shockwave when he was a senator. Maybe the two met coincidentally, or he had been suspecting the Opera singer was an outlier, thus offering them a place in his academy. There, the Opera singer would be safe to develop their ability and get back into singing. Then maybe Shockwave would get them an opportunity to sing on stage, and Opera singer would start gaining fame from there.
(From what I have seen, the higher-class bots are pretty corrupt, so I don't think Opera singer would have gotten a fair job deal or gotten to see their friends again. So, if Opera singer wanted to see their miner friends, I think this would be the safest setting. )
Anyway, nice idea đ

Bayverse Version (Part 16)
You have a late-night discussion with Optimus.
Warnings: reader has doubts and angsty thoughts, Optimus being a comforting presence, and a talk about fears.
-----------------------------------------------------
You stood outside the main building, watching stars in the night sky. The sounds of the sea waves meeting the beach echoed in the distance, and crickets sang somewhere hidden in the plants near the scrapyard. The mixed sounds of nature and soldiers going on their night tasks calmed down your raging thoughts. It gave a sense of normalcy in this rollercoaster you called your life.Â
You felt somewhat eased by Emilyâs situation. But now you were stuck thinking about the strange visions you saw after your death. You canât remember it clearly as it was still fuzzy, but you could remember bits and what you saw in your memories projected by that insect doctorâs worm.Â
You remember seeing your life flash from your childhood to the moment when you saved Emily from death, then you remember vaguely those visions, and the voices.Â
Thinking about it throughout the day helped you realize that the language the voices spoke and the symbols you saw were Cybertronian. It made some sense since it was the Allspark fragment in your necklace that brought you back.Â
You then recalled what Que said about the Allspark choosing guardians for itself. Could it be possible that the Allspark and the voices are related? Could it be that whatever lingered in the Allspark chose you as one of its guardians?
You pondered this. It felt possible, but it also felt like there was something more to it.
You intended to tell the bots about it, but hadnât really found the opportunity. You also felt a bit nervous about how they would react. The Allspark was as mysterious to them as it was to you. What were the chances you might come off wrong, and they would start thinking you went mad or something?Â
You felt a buzz in your head and heard something big coming toward you. Turning your head, you saw Optimus as he approached you.Â
âIsnât it quite late to be standing outside here?â Optimus asked as he stood next to you.Â
âIâm⊠just⊠catching some air. Sometimes cold air and listening to the sound of nature, like the sea, can calm the nerves,â you replied.Â
âAre you having troubling thoughts?â he looked at you curiously. Â
âWell⊠with everything that has happened so far. Itâs kinda impossible not to,â you answered.Â
âI feel scared because the Cons are after me for my ability, and I feel worried about Emily because sheâs stuck with that Allspark fragment,â you admitted. âI donât doubt that Sideswipe can do his job in protecting her. But after I got kidnapped by the Cons, they showed me that they can be⊠unpredictable,â you explained, remembering how those cons came out of nowhere and kidnapped you.
âLike what if they attack Em and Sideswipe when they least expect it?â you asked. âLike⊠What if they attack them in the middle of a city, or they send one of those minicons, as Que called them, after Emily when sheâs in a building or somewhere Sideswipe canât reach her in time?â you questioned.
You exhaled, slouching your shoulders.
âIâm sorry. I might be overthinking this. I know I should have faith in the NEST, you and the other bots,â you mumbled.Â
âDo not feel sorry for worrying about your friend. â Optimus shook his head.Â
âFor what you have experienced these past days. Your worries are not unfounded. The Decepticons have always been unpredictable, so we can never be sure what they might plan next,â he said. Â
âThe best we can do is to practise caution whenever we can and react as quickly as possible,â
âBut even if something were to happen, weâll do everything we can to ensure your and Emilyâs safety,â he looked at you sincerely.Â
âI know⊠Itâs just⊠â You uttered. â...It feels like the Allspark fragments keep bringing me trouble for some unknown reason. It turned me into this, and now it got Emily involved by making her a guardian or whatever it was.âÂ
You then looked at Optimus. âCould it really be that the Allspark chose me and Emily to be these⊠guardians?â you asked.
âWe can never be certain,â Optimus replied. âThe Allspark was an artifact that allowed life to flourish on Cybertron. It brought life, but it had secrets that were unknown to us.âÂ
âEven the primes before me had little records of its secrets,â he added.Â
âIâm not sure if I should feel comforted by thatâŠâ you uttered, then remembered the strange visions after your death.Â
You hesitated, trying to think how to bring it up.Â
âThere is something Iâve been meaning to tell you⊠â You started, and Optimus gave you his attention.Â
âWhen Starscream and his Cons put that worm inside my brain and went through my memories, it helped me remember something. Right after I died, I saw⊠visions,â you revealed.Â
âLikeâthereâs a saying that right before you die, your life flashes before your eyes,â you explained, and Optimus nodded.
âWell⊠that kind of happened to me. I saw my whole human life flash before my eyes, but then I saw things that werenât from my memoriesâand I heard voices,â you continued.
âI saw Cybertronian symbols⊠and a vision of a massive planet in Earthâs atmosphere,â you described.
âAnd the voices⊠I donât remember everything they said, but I do remember them mentioning Energon, something about a great evil, and something about being worthy of something,â you said.
âI then remember a voice telling me to wake up, and then I woke up like this,â you motioned to yourself.Â
âCould that mean something?â you asked.Â
âHm,â Optimus mused for a moment. âIâm not entirely sure. But now that youâve told me, itâs possible the forces behind the Allspark brought you back as a transformer for a reason,â he said.
âBut what reason could that be?â you asked. âHopefully, itâs not something like ending the war between you and the Decepticons. I mean, that would be amazing, and I did say Iâd help⊠but I donât think I have that kind of potential.â
âFate is often uncertain,â Optimus replied. âPerhaps there will come a time when youâll make a differenceâone that saves many from destruction.â
He paused, his tone calm and steady. âWe simply have to wait and see what the future holds.â
âBut even if there were some kind of Decepticon-caused catastrophe,â you said, âI donât think Iâd have the courage to do anything about it. Iâd probably be too scared to act. So, I really hope the reason the Allspark brought me back has nothing to do with something like that.â
âFear is not unnatural,â Optimus replied calmly. âSometimes it takes courage to do the right thing or secure the safety of those around you. It is because of fear, true courage can be found.âÂ
He looked at you with quiet certainty. âAnd while the Allsparkâs reasons for choosing you and Emily remain unclear⊠perhaps it sees more than we do.â
âAnd I believe,â he added, âthat you have far more courage than you give yourself credit for.â
You looked at him. âAnd how would you know?âÂ
âI heard that you didnât hesitate to protect Emily when the Decepticons came after you,â Optimus said. âEven when you first awoke as a transformer, you acted to shield her from harm.â
You thought back to those moments. You hadnât really thought things throughâyou just acted. It didnât feel like courage. It felt more like instinct.
âFear isnât a weakness,â he continued. âItâs what makes courage possible. And by overcoming that fear, youâll find yourself capable of far more than you realize.â
âHave you ever been afraid, Optimus?â you asked.
âMany times,â he replied without hesitation.
His honesty caught you off guard. You hadnât expected someone like himâstrong, composedâto admit to fear. It kinda made you look at him more openly.Â
âBut Iâve also overcome them,â he continued. âAnd I believe you will overcome yours,âÂ
âWell⊠I donât know,â you said, out of words.Â
âMaybe⊠â you uttered, thinking about why you had been having trouble learning transformation. It was because you were freaked out by it, and scared you would end up getting stuck. Now you no longer have that problem. Â
âWhat if the Decepticons never leave me alone because of my ability?â you asked. âIronhide said they can be persistent and that they might only stop if I start hitting back.âÂ
"That might be true. Even without Megatron, they remain dangerousâespecially with Starscream leading them. One of the only ways to deter them from hunting you is to become someone not worth pursuing. And that stand can only be made by you,â Optimus replied.Â
âWell, that feels like too far of a goal for me. Theyâre terrifying and giganticâŠâ you said. âIâm still having trouble sleeping because I keep remembering what happened when they kidnapped meâespecially when they put that worm inside my head.â
âWhat happened to you was something no one should experience,â Optimus comforted gently. âBut remember that strength is not measured by size or powerâitâs measured by the will to rise each time fear tries to pull you down. And youâve already done that more than once.âÂ
You felt rather uplifted by his words. He had a comforting way of speaking that banished doubts from your mind and left you wondering about stopping being afraid.Â
âHave faith in yourself. Fear is not unnatural. In overcoming it, you may discover what youâre truly capable of,â Optimus said.
âYou take a lot after Sergeant (Last Name). Heâs a brave soldier,â he added.Â
âWell⊠heâs always been the bravest man in my eyes,â you mumbled.
Now you were thinking. You had been stuck in negative thoughts because of your fear, but now you found yourself wanting to stop being afraid. You were a transformer nowâif the Cons came after you, you had a chance to fight back. You just needed to learn how.
Your thoughts drifted to the idea of being Emilyâs guardian. Optimus had been honest about him being afraid before and strangely comforting about your fears, which lifted your spirits a little. Maybe it wouldnât be too rude to ask.
âI know Sideswipe volunteered to watch over Emily. But if I learn to fight properly and overcome my fears. Is it possible for me to become her guardian?â you asked.Â
"Of course. If you feel that you're ready to face the dangerâand the Decepticonsâwhen necessary," he said.
"Well⊠considering everything thatâs happened, and all the other dangers, I wonât accomplish much by hiding," you replied.
"I donât think Iâll ever stop being afraid of the Cons. They've made it clear theyâre dangerous and only want trouble. But like Ironhide said, if I learn to hit back and stand my ground, then maybe theyâll feel less inclined to come after me. I heard they donât like targets that are too difficult to catch."
Optimus smiled. âThat is a good mindset to have,â he said. âWork hard on your skills, and once you feel ready, I believe you can become Emilyâs guardian.â
âThank you, Optimus,â you said. âAnd⊠thanks for, you know, being kind of encouraging about facing my fears.â
âI guess thatâs been part of the reason Iâve been feeling gloomy about everythingâand why itâs been hard to concentrate,â you admitted.
âYouâre welcome, (Name). And if you ever have doubts or troubling thoughts, I encourage you to talk about them,â he replied. âKeeping quiet might just keep you feeling⊠gloomy.â
You smiled at his choice of words.
âI keep that in mind,â you said,.Â
âWell⊠maybe I should get some sleep. Itâs getting late,â you said.
âGoodnight, Optimus.â
âRest well, (Name),â he replied.
You parted ways and headed off to rest, your mind clearer than it had been in days.

Bayverse Version (Part 15)
Under Ironhide's guidance, you train in combat. However, as the days pass, you find it difficult to concentrate and keep gloomy thoughts at bay.
Warnings: a bit of angst, combat training, reader feeling a bit gloomy about things, Ironhide and Epps being a bit supportive, and possibly reader overthinking things.
-------------------------------------------------
The sun shone brightly in the sky. The seagulls flew over the waves, occasionally diving into the sea to catch fish. Soldiers moved around the base, entering and exiting the building or undergoing some training. It was a rather calm day at Diego Garcia.Â
Outside the base, you slam hard against the ground. A groan leaves you, as the landing was pretty painful. You push yourself off the ground, feeling your body aching, as this was your fourth time meeting the ground.
Ironhide stands over you.Â
âYou leave yourself too open, and your reaction time is slow. Youâll be dead before you can even take cover,â he stated.Â
You release a sigh. Since the day you came back, the bots decided that you should learn some combat skills. Optimus agreed to it, and he appointed Ironhide as your trainer. You didnât want to be rude, and knowing how to defend yourself didn't sound like a bad idea, so you agreed. Now you kind of regret it because most of the time, it's your face having a date with the ground.Â
Ironhide at the beginning of your training said that he was not gonna go easy on you, but now you are certain heâs going too much not-easy on you.Â
While you were training, Que and Ratched tried to figure out a way to separate the connection between Emily and her Allspark fragment, so far, nothing. And honestlyâŠÂ Â
It has not improved your state of mind.Â
âGet up and letâs try again,â Ironhide said.Â
You sigh again. Maybe once you would have been interested in learning combat, but with everything going on in the background, it had not been easy to focus. Â
When you didn't get up, Ironhide frowned at you. âWhatâs the matter with you? Your helm has been in the clouds lately. Do you remember what I said at the startâŠâ he asked.Â
âStay focused or youâll be dead metal,â you finished, having heard that sentence many times.Â
âYou know, I get why you guys decided that I should learn some self-defence, but shouldnât I be able to stay away from violence and combat?â you questioned.Â
âIs that what has been bothering you and made you focus like a scraplet?â Ironhide asked.Â
âKindaâŠâ you mumbled before looking him in the eyes. âI was told I could just do the bare minimum and stay away from violence. But now the Cons are after me because of this stupid ability, and it feels like eventually, Iâll have to fight just to survive.â
âYou guys keep telling me I have choicesâbut it doesnât feel like that," you stated.
ââ(Name), you get to stay, but youâve gotta do this or that. Hey, this one guy thinks youâre freeloading, so you need to be useful. Oh, and (Name), you better learn how to fight because the Cons are after you, and if you donât, you might just die,â you vented, throwing your hands up before letting them drop to your knees.
âI have no control over my life, or whatsoever!â you exclaimed, hugging your knees. Your voice fell quiet as a wave of shame washed over you. You wiped away the tear that threatened to fall after your outburst.
You felt foolish. You didnât usually let yourself break like this, and now Ironhide probably saw you as nothing more than a whining child.
Ironhide released a sigh.Â
âListen, kid. I get your frustration. You were not part of this war in the first place, and it should not be your war to fight. If it were for me, I would keep you out of the battlefield and places where you donât belong,â he started.Â
âBut unfortunately, things just are how they are now. You are a transformer now and have an outlier ability that the Decepticons want. And they will do anything to obtain it for their own gain, and they will not care what you think or how it will affect you,â he continued. âAnd trust me, they can be very persistent,â he emphasized.
âThus, you are bound to have a target on your back. This is the reality you have to accept and adapt to,â he said.Â
You stared at the ground for a moment, hating that he was right about it.Â
âThe least we can do is help you learn how to defend yourself,â Ironhide said. âThat way, you might be able to keep yourself from getting killed.â
âAnd one day, youâll need to find the courage to start hitting back.â
âThe harder you hit, the less inclined theyâll be to pursue you. The 'Cons might be persistent, but they donât like prey thatâs hard to catch,â he added. âOtherwise, theyâll never leave you alone.â
Then, he offered his hand.
You took it, and he pulled you up.Â
âFor now, try to learn to keep yourself focused on whatâs happening right now. It will keep you alive. You can always brood about things later,â Ironhide advised.Â
âOkayâŠâ you uttered.Â
âNow, letâs try again,â Ironhide said, positioning himself.Â
You positioned yourself as he taught you.Â
Slowly, Ironhide began moving his fists. You blocked them, staying focusedâeven though everything still felt heavy in the back of your mind. You couldnât help but think about the possibility of having to fight those Decepticons. Sleep had been hard to come by since the incident, and the thought of facing a life-or-death situation sent shivers down your metallic spine.
After an hour or two of training, Ironhide finally called it a day. You felt a wave of relief as most of the session had been you kissing the ground and collecting bruises across your frame.
You walked inside the hangar with the bot.Â
âYou had a better reaction time this time, but you still have a long way to go,â Ironhide patted your shoulder.
You only released a sigh before you were met with the sight of Emily and Que, the older bot giving the Allspark fragment back to her inside some kind of locket.
âWhatâs going on over here?â you asked.Â
âOh, (Name). Good that you are here. I figured you would want to know the results of our investigation on the connection between Emily and her Allspark fragment,â Que said when he saw you.Â
âAnd?â you waited for him to continue.Â
âWell⊠we tried, â he revealed. âBut it seems we canât sever the connection between Miss Walkerson and the Allspark fragment.âÂ
Your spark felt heavy with the revelation.Â
âBut⊠with the help of your human scientist, we were able to create a locket that masks the Allspark fragmentâs signature,â Que explained quickly. âIt will allow both the fragment and Miss Walkerson to remain hidden from Decepticon detection. Weâll also assign her a guardian to ensure she stays protectedâat least until we can find another way to sever the connection in the future.â
âSo what happens now?â you looked at Lennox.Â
âWell, we canât keep her here forever. We have done what we could, but sheâs still a civilian. So, she will be watched over by a guardian until we find something else,â Lennox answered.Â
âAnd who will be her guardian?â you asked.Â
âSideswipe has volunteered for that task. He will watch over her safety,â Optimus stated. Â
âI watch over your friend,â Sideswipe confirmed, shifting his weight.
A small part of you felt relieved that Emily would have someone capable of keeping her safe, but you still couldnât help feeling down about the whole thing. The Allspark fragment hidden in her necklace made her a target, and it would be pure luck if the Decepticons didnât find out about her before the Autobots figured out another solution.
Emily looked up at you. âDonât worry about me. We kinda suspected this would happen. Iâll be fineâespecially with a bot like him by my side,â she said reassuringly.
âYou better get going now,â Lennox said, tapping her shoulder.
Emily turned to you. âIâll give you a call when I get home, just so you know I made it back safe.â
You nodded quietly.
âReady to go, little lady?â Sideswipe asked with a grin.
âReady when you are, big guy!â she smiled, and the two of them left together.
You watched them board the plane that would take them back to your hometown. Despite the assurances that Emily would be safe, you couldnât shake the unease of her having to carry the Allspark fragment, especially with Decepticons potentially lurking around every corner. But what could you do? You canât even fight without ending up kissing the ground.
After Emilyâs departure, you went to your driving lessons. You figured itâd be easier to learn the rules of the road from your own kind. Of course, Galloway had raised complaints about the earlier chase, conveniently ignoring the fact that you were escaping from a Decepticon.
You nearly felt like flicking that guy across the room.Â
Even Emily did not like him and questioned why someone like him was assigned as a liaison between the humans and aliens, especially when he hated the latter.Â
So, besides your combat training, you learned to drive on the side. Most of the time, it was your dad and Lennox, but sometimes Epps agreed to fill in when they were busy. You had become relatively good at driving in your alt-form, and transforming was no longer a challenge for you.
You waited in the small training area while Epps prepared to begin your lesson for the day.
âAlright, letâs see what weâve got today,â Epps said as he climbed into your driverâs seat. He glanced over the list of driving lessons your dad and Lennox had put together to track your progress and the skills you still needed to learn. So far, youâd covered all the basics.
âOkay, how about we run through some driving and parking,â he said, nodding toward the course. âGo through there.â
You started moving, quietly focusing on the road ahead, trying to keep your thoughts to yourself.
âYou have been rather quiet. Did something happen?â Epps asked.Â
âUh⊠uhm,â you stumbled, trying to find the right words.Â
âNo. Nothing really happened,â you answered.
âI... just canât stop thinking about Emily and that sheâs stuck with the Allspark fragment,â you confessed.Â
âYeah. I heard about that. An Allspark fragment is not something you wanna be stuck with,â Epps said. âI watched how the Decepticons went crazy trying to get it when it was still a cube,â he shared.Â
âBut with the signature hidden and a bot guarding her, she should be fine,â he added.
âYeah, but I canât stop thinking that something might go wrong. If the Decepticons find out she has the fragment, it will be hell for her,â you said.Â
âThey literally kidnapped me when we least expected it,â you added.
âYou really care about her, huh?â Epps asked with a smile.Â
âOf course I do. Sheâs my best friend,â you replied. Â
âI lost all control of my life when I became this. I donât want that to happen to Em, or worseâŠâ You uttered, thinking of the possibility of her getting killed.Â
âI know how you feel. I would do anything to see my buddies get back home safe and sound as well. This is relatively dangerous business weâre dealing with,â Epps admitted.
âBut think positively. Maybe the bots will find a way to keep her safe sooner or later, and if you finish your combat training, they might even let you be Emilyâs guardian,â he continued, offering a hopeful glance.
âAnd you can trust us to keep her safe. All you gotta do is have some faith in us,â he finished with a reassuring nod.
âIâm not sure how. It feels like nothing is in my control or thereâs nothing I can do,â you murmured.Â
âI would assume, as a giant robot, there are many things you can do. You can transform, take on guys bigger than us, and even have a superpowerâwhich is like, super rare to the bots,â Epps remarked with a grin. âIâd say thatâs pretty cool,â he added with a shrug.
âI wish I could think positively like you do,â
Epps chuckled. âNah, I figured you might be feeling a bit jealous about Sideswipe becoming Emilyâs guardian,â he said.
âI wonât lieâI wouldâve liked that,â you admitted. âBut honestly, I feel better knowing someone skilled in combat is watching over her. So far, my best combat move is kissing the ground.â
Epps laughed. âYouâll get there eventually. Come on, letâs get this lesson over with.â
You continued your driving lesson as usual. It went relatively smoothly, and the conversation helped ease some of your worries about Emily. Even so, the thoughts still weighed heavily on your mind, especially the ones about your future.
During the lesson, you suddenly recalled the dream you had seen in your memoriesâthe strange symbols and the metal planet in the sky. You had nearly forgotten about it, but now it lingered in your mind, leaving you to wonder: what could it mean?

Bayverse Version (Part 14)
As the Allspark fragment refuses to leave Emily, she gets brought to Diego Garcia with you. There, you learn a possible reason for that and your rebirth.
Warnings: (making some stuff up yet again), small reunion with the bots, reader worrying about Emily's safety, and angst to comfort.
-------------------------------------------
After seeing the Allspark fragment back in Emilyâs hands, you made a few tests to see whether it would reappear in her hand â it did. You tried having her go to a different room while you and the bots kept your eyes on the fragment. It disappeared back into her pocket. You tested by holding the fragment as she went somewhere else â it disappeared back to her. Strangely enough, it would stay in your hands but disappear back to Emily if she got too far. Otherwise, it would not disappear when she was near.Â
She even tested out if it would come back to her by command, so she threw it in the air, and to your and the bots' shock, the Allspark fragment flew right back to her. It excited Emily, though, because this was something new.Â
After those tests, it was concluded that the Allspark fragment would not leave her side, so she was brought to Diego Garcia with you. She was allowed to call her family first and inform them that she would stay out for a while to avoid worrying them.Â
After you arrived at the familiar base, you were greeted by the bots, who were glad to see you safe and unharmed.Â
Ratchet and Ironhide informed Optimus beforehand about the strange phenomenon, so he and Que started looking through their old archives about the Allspark to see if they could find anything that could give a clue about Emilyâs Allspark fragment and its strange fixation on her.Â
Que was especially interested because after recalling the events to him and how Emily found you through the fragment, he believed there was some kind of connection between you.Â
You did not know how to feel about that.
Emily stayed with you while the bots investigated their archives. You showed her around the base, and she had a chance to meet a few new bots. The twins were there to greet you and were eager to hear everything about your kidnapping and escape. Thankfully, Emily was willing to recount most of the story for them. Since the events were still fresh in your mind, and you had already shared them with the other bots, you didn't have the energy to repeat the story and relive those moments.
After you told them about the Allspark fragmentâs strange new bond with Emily, they began theorizing and discussing possibilities, many of which seemed far too unlikely.
You and Emily listened out of politeness, but as the conversation went on, it gradually became overwhelming for you.
The Allspark fragment in your necklace had turned you into a transformer and gave you an ability, which made you a target to the Decepticons. You were forced to adapt to a world unknown to you with no way to turn back. So, you were not particularly keen on something similar happening to Emily because thereâs suddenly a mysterious, magical bond between her and their most valued artifact.Â
By comparison, she had an even bigger target on her back.Â
After some time passed, you and Emily were finally called over by the bots, saying they might have found something.Â
After walking inside the main hangar, you and Emily waited for the bots to start.
âAlright, after looking through the old archives and data left of our history, we might have found an answer to the strange phenomenon between Miss Walkerson and the Allspark fragment,â Que started.Â
âAlright. What do you have?â Lennox asked.Â
âFrom what remains of the Allsparkâs history, the old records written by the knights who once guarded it before the war describe something that aligns with this strange phenomenon,â Optimus began. âAccording to those records, once in a lifetime, the Allspark chooses a guardian to protect it. It forms a bond with this guardian, allowing it to travel wherever they goâand, in some cases, even grants them access to its secrets and powers.â
âI know it sounds far-fetched,â Que added, âbut it would certainly explain how the fragment disappears on its own and reappears in Miss Walkersonâs hands.â
âSo, with the proof that the Allspark had appeared back in Miss Walkersonâs hands many times. It is reasonable to assume that this remaining fragment of the Allspark has chosen her as its guardian,â he continued.Â
âI believe this might also explain (Name)âs rebirth into one of our kind,â Que added, excitement lacing his voice. âThe old records mentioned that the Allspark would choose two guardians. And when (Name)âs life was fading, her fragment activatedâtransforming and bringing her back, passing down whatever essence remained within it to her.â
You frowned at the theory. For some reason, it didnât feel quite right, but one thing that especially did not sit well with you was Emily being chosen by an alien artifact as its guardian. It definitely meant more trouble than good for her.Â
âSo, what you are saying is⊠that the fragment sees Emily as its guardian and thus why it refuses to leave her?â Lennox asked to clarify.Â
âIt quite seems so. The Allspark has already exceeded most unusual behaviour by turning an organism from an organic species into a transformer with its mind intact. And now it had chosen an organic being as its protector,â Que replied.Â
Your frown deepened. You did not like this.Â
âSo, what should we do about this?â Lennox asked.Â
âThis is definitely something we need to investigate further,â Optimus said.Â
âAnd if what the old records say is true, this would mean the Allspark fragment in Miss Walkersonâs possession will go wherever she goes,â Que said.Â
âSo, does that mean we have to take her under our protection as well?â Ironhide asked.Â
The idea did not sit well with you. You couldnât stay silent anymore.Â
âIf I can ask⊠Is there a way to sever this connection?â you asked, gaining the botsâ attention.Â
Emily looked at you curiously.Â
âIf sheâs been chosen as the fragmentâs guardian⊠wouldnât that just paint a target on her back?â you asked. âThe Decepticons are already after me because of my ability, but if they find out Emily has the Allspark fragmentâand that it refuses to leave herâthey wonât hesitate to come after her.â
âSheâll be an easy target,â you added.
âWell⊠it is not clear to us if it's possible. The Allspark shares a lot of mysteries that are unknown even to us,â Que answered.Â
âEven so, (Name) raises a valid point,â Optimus said. âIf the Decepticons were to learn about this, they would target Emily to obtain the Allspark fragmentâputting her life in constant danger.â
âIt may be best to determine whether it's possible to sever the bond the fragment has formed with her. If so, we can decide how to proceed from there.â
âFor now, weâll investigate,â he concluded.
After the meeting, you stood outside the building, watching the sunset. Your mind was heavy with thoughts over the whole situation. Just why? Why did the Allspark have to turn your life into this?
âHey, girl. You okay up there?â Emily asked as she appeared next to you.Â
âIâm fine. Iâm just⊠thinking,â you replied.Â
âI understand why you asked the bots if it's possible to sever whatever is happening between me and this Allspark fragment. But honestly, I think itâs kinda cool. Who would have thought you could get picked by an alien magic rock to be its guardian?â she said, looking at the Allspark fragment resting against her chest.Â
You sighed.
âEmily, thereâs nothing cool about this,â you said.
Emily looked at you, noticing the conflict in your eyes.
âWhatâs wrong?â she asked.
âEverything, actually,â you replied, turning to face her.
âEm⊠this whole war between the Autobots and the Decepticons⊠It's not something you want to get involved with, but now with that rock spiritually attached to youâŠ. You might have to,â you explained.Â
âThose guysâthe Decepticonsâ theyâre psychos!â you stated.Â
âThey kidnapped me, shot at me, chased me, and put a worm in my brainâall because of a stupid ability I didnât ask for,â you said, throwing your hands around in frustration.
âNow imagine what theyâd do to you,â you added, motioning to her.
âThey hate humanity. And now theyâre looking for a chance to turn me into one of them because Iâm useful to them.â You turned toward her. âBut you⊠Youâre human. And youâre holding the most valuable thing to them. If they knew, they wouldnât hesitate to kill you.â
âAnd I donât want that to happen to you."
Emily was quiet as she thought of your words.Â
You sighed. âMy Allspark fragment turned me into this. Iâm stuck like this. I canât go back to living life as usual,â you murmured.
âBut you can,â you continued. âIf the bots find a way to undo whateverâs happening between you and the fragment, you can go back to your family. You can live your life as a human again. And most importantlyâyouâll be safe.â
You paused, then added, âBut if they canât sever the connection, then youâll have a target on your back. Thereâs no telling when something might go wrong⊠or if youâll survive it.â
You leaned against the wall and slowly slid down to sit on the ground.
âAnd Iâd prefer you very much alive,â you said quietly, turning your eyes back toward the sunset.
âOh, (Name)âŠâ Emily murmured.
You stayed quiet as she climbed up and sat on your leg. You looked down at her.
âYou know⊠I know it's been weeks since Iâve been here, â you started, â Iâve been trying to adapt, and the bots have been good to me. Thereâs nothing to complain about that, even though the twins are still bloody weird,â you said, causing Emily to grin humorously.Â
âIâm serious. Like if ADHD were a robot split into two, then those twins would be it,â you added, causing her to giggle.Â
âAnywayâŠâ you exhale. âEven though it's been a while now⊠I still feel out of place.âÂ
âMy body might be all metal and robot-like, and Iâm supposed to be a transformer like the bots⊠but Iâm still human inside,â you said. âIâm a stranger to them, just like they are to me.â
You sighed. âAnd with my body being robotic, Iâm technically not human anymore. And thereâs nothing I can do about it.â
Emily stayed quiet, a thoughtful look on her face as she listened.
âSorry. Kinda bad time to have an identity crisis,â you said.
âNo, I get what you mean,â Emily replied.
âItâs a pretty rough position when you think about it,â she added.
âBut if you think about it positively, you donât have to belong to just one world,â she said with a smile. âYou can be bothâhuman on the inside, transformer on the outside.â
âYou know things the bots donât, and you can do things humans canât. That gives you big advantages over both worlds,â she added.
You paused, thinking it over. âHuh⊠I didnât really think of it that way.â
â(Name)...â Emily laid her hand on yours. âI know youâre just worried about me, and I know what the cons can do; that con on the bridge tried to kill me after killing you,â she recalled that night.Â
âIf the bots can sever my connection with this Allspark fragment, then Iâll go back to living my life and staying out of harmâs wayâif thatâs what you want,â she said, locking eyes with you.
âAnd if not⊠well⊠weâll just have to see what comes next,â she added.
You looked at her, sincerely hoping it wouldnât come to that.
âHey, since that yellow bot, Bumblebee, is a guardian to his human friend. Maybe you could become mine,â Emily suggested. âYou technically saved my life twice now.âÂ
âI donât know,â you muttered. âWhat if⊠There comes a moment when I fail to protect you?â
Emily smiled softly. âI doubt thatâll happen. And even if something did⊠if I died, you'd probably go on a rampage and avenge me.â
You let out a small chuckle. âYeah⊠I probably would.â
âBut letâs not worry about those things unless they actually happen,â Emily said. âLetâs wait and see what the bots come up with. Iâm sure itâll be fine.â She moved to lean against you, gazing toward the sunset.
âYou werenât lyingâthe beach view here is pretty enjoyable,â she said, causing you to smile.
While watching the sunset together, you felt at peace in her presence. You were not sure how, but she always had that effect on you. Even though your thoughts became calmer, you could not help but worry about what the future might bring.Â

Bayverse Version (Part 13)
You are finally safe from the Decepticons. As the cons are aware of your ability and past as a human, the Autobots decide that it would be safer for you to stay at Diego Garcia. However, when you are about to part ways with Emily, the Allspark fragment in her possession does something unexpected.
Warnings: recalling some unpleasant events, medical check-ups, some cursing, and strange happenings.
--------------------------------------------------
After recovering from the chase and saying bye to Bumblebee, who had to return to guard his friend Sam, you and Emily waited at the base as Optimus and Lennox instructed. They were gonna send Ratchet and Ironhide to you, so they could safely escort you back to Diego Garcia once things had been settled. They then arrived with your dad and Lennox since you told them Emily had her Allspark fragment back.Â
After reuniting with your dad, who had been dead worried about you, you recalled everything that happened with the Decepticons.Â
Ratchet made a thorough check-up on you after you told him about the worm â to your luck, the worm didnât cause any serious damage to your brain modules. Other than strained joints and wheels from the chase, you were in good shape. They were good news in general, but you will definitely not forget this experience any time soon, especially the memory of feeling the worm inside your head, one of the worst experiences of your life.Â
You were then allowed to get your previous alt-mode back. After getting chased halfway across the city, you were now more than comfortable having a car mode that allowed you more speed.Â
The scanning and transformation went more smoothly this time. It was much easier when you stopped worrying about getting stuck. The idea of changing your entire body into a different form was still unsettling, but this time, you felt less afraid of doing it.Â
After regaining your previous alt-mode, you returned to the main room of the base. There you saw Emily hand her necklace to Lennox.Â
âI swear I have no idea how it got back to me. I was going on my day and then checked my jewelry box, and there it was, sitting on top of all my other jewelry. â Emily explained.Â
âAnd you only noticed it today?â Lennox questioned.
âI had plans to attend a party hosted by a friend this evening, so I was checking what jewelry to wear. I havenât looked in my jewelry box for the past five days because Iâve been busyâbut even before that, Iâm sure it wasnât there,â Emily answered.
âIt matches the date the fragment disappeared from the vault,â your dad stated. âBut it still doesnât explain how it vanished without triggering any alarms,â he added.
âIf you are suspecting me, I can assure you I was with my family most of the week. And besides, even if I could come up with a plan to steal something, I wouldnât be able to make something disappear without explanation,â Emily said. âI would have to be a magician,â
âDonât worry, we believe you,â Lennox said with an assuring tone.Â
âWe checked the security footage of the vault many times, and the only thing we kept seeing was the Allspark fragment vanishing into thin air,â he explained, glancing at the fragment. âNot even the deeper analysis brought any different results.âÂ
âWould you know anything about this, Irondhide?â he glanced at the taller bot.Â
âBeats me. I know nothing about magic tricks like this. I doubt even Prime has an idea how this happened,â Ironhide shrugged.Â
âWell, the positive thing is that it kinda allowed me to find (Name), and help her when that Decepticon was chasing her,â Emily said.Â
âThat is a positive thing. But, hopefully, we can keep a better eye on it this time,â Lennox said as he put the Allspark fragment into a box and gave the box to a group of people.Â
You watched the people take Emilyâs necklace with them.Â
âSo, what now?â you broke the silence. âThe Decepticons know about my ability and that I used to be a human, but they still tried to brainwash me into thinking like a Decepticon.âÂ
âWith your kidnapping and what you said about Starscream having eyes and ears around places, our communications are currently being investigated and reconfigured to be more secure,â Lennox answered.Â
âAnd I believe, for your safety, it would be best for you to stay at Diego Garcia for the time being,â Ratchet began. âUntil weâve secured our communications, and perhaps with time, the Decepticons may become less motivated to come after you if you remain in a secure location for an extended period.â
âPerhaps it will also be wise if we start teaching you self-defence. In case the cons try again and attack at an unexpected moment. They might be cons, but theyâre no quitters. It will be better to be prepared than sorry,â Ironhide added.Â
âOnly if thatâs fine with her,â your dad glanced at you.Â
âIâŠâ you hesitated when the attention was on you. â... think about it,â you answered, unsure how to answer the question or even think about the whole idea.Â
âNow that things are settled here. We can go back to Diego Garcia,â Lennox said, then turned toward Emily.Â
âHow about I have some of my guys take you back home?â he suggested.Â
âThatâs fine by me. But can I be assured that youâll take better care of (Name) this time? I would hate to find her kidnapped and get chased by Decepticons again,â she said with a sharp look.
âWeâll try our best. Unfortunately, the cons can be very unpredictable,â Lennox replied.Â
âAlright then. I should get going then. Itâs getting late, and the folks have been trying to call me. I should probably call them back and let them know Iâm fine,â she said, pushing her hand into her pocket. She then suddenly froze and had a strange expression on her face.Â
âIs⊠everything alright, Emily?â Lennox asked.Â
Emily then pulled something out of her pocket. She held the object in her closed hand. You saw the familiar chain of her necklace hanging from the side. Your eyes widened as you had an odd feeling.Â
No way. It couldnât beâŠÂ
She then opened her hands, revealing the object. It was the Allspark fragment.Â
âWhat the hell?â Lennox and your dad frowned at the sight. Ironhide and Ratchet looked equally stunned seeing the Allspark fragment back in Emilyâs hand.Â
âYou gave this to those security guys, right?â Emily looked at Lennox.Â
Lennox took out his radio. âLennox to the guards. I need you to check on the Allspark fragment,â he said.Â
You then waited for an answer.Â
âMajor Lennox. The Allspark fragment is gone from the containment,â Came a response.Â
You looked back at Emily and the Allspark fragment with shock. Holy shit.Â
âOkayâŠâ Emily said, looking at the bots. âIs this normal? Has something like this happened before? Or has the Allspark fragment taken a special liking to me?â she questioned.Â
âCertainly not,â Ratchet answered. âI do not believe any of us has seen the Allspark act this way,âÂ
âI⊠think we should let Optimus and Que know about this,â Ironhide said with an unsure tone.Â
You glanced at them with slight worry. They didnât know what was happening. That couldnât be a good sign.Â
You looked back at Emily, Lennox, and your dad as they pondered the situation.Â
âWhy do I feel like if I give this back to you, it would come straight back to me?â Emily asked, holding the Allspark fragment.Â
âNow that it's back into your hands, it might just happen,â Lennox uttered.
âSo⊠what now? We have to take Emily with us because the Allspark fragment refuses to leave her,â you said.Â
Lennox and your dad looked at each other.Â
âWe do need answers for this,â your dad said.Â
âWe have to, either way, because of the Allspark fragment,â Lennox added.
âEmily, you might have to cancel on that party,â he said.
You and Emily exchanged equally confused looks. You tried to come up with a possible explanationâbut nothing made sense.
What the hell was going on?

Knights of Cybertron (Part 2)
Part 1
You arrive on the planet Earth. You and your companions are amazed by its beauty and meet Lyra's brother and his team. During your visit, you befriend two human children named Tristan and Dovelyn and have an encounter with the Decepticons.
Warnings: some mild violence, a fugitive terrorizing people, fighting, falling, the cons causing trouble, mentions of school life, and a good ending.
----------------------------------------------
-After you arrived on the planet and landed somewhere secluded to avoid being seen by the locals, you were amazed by Earthâs organic flora and fauna. The greenery, the blue sky, and the abundance of organic life the planet possessed were enough to leave you captivated.Â
-You had seen your fair share of organic life forms during your trips with your mentor and read about them in the Monasteryâs archives, but they were nothing compared to Earth and its beauty. It left you wondering why the knights do not have any records of it. Perhaps, once you fulfill your mission, you could take time to learn more about Earth and fill that gap once you return.
- Despite wanting to explore, you, Goldwing, and Lyra focused on the mission you were given, which was to locate a dangerous fugitive.Â
- You and Lyra had scanned yourselves Earth vehicle modes in case you needed to blend in among the organics called the humans. Lyra had scanned herself a fast, ground vehicle mode while you scanned a jet mode as one of your two alt modes.Â
- Lyra wanted to visit her brother Optimus, who was located in the human city called Detroit, with his team. Since Goldwing was a Predacon and thus unable to blend in among the humans, you decided to stay with her to track your target, and let Lyra visit her brother. Maybe they could be of assistance in the near future.
- Lyra then disappeared in her new alt mode faster than you could blink your optic.Â
- You and Goldwing then started tracking the signal of your target.Â
- Wandering through the woods, you and your partner encountered many curious organic life forms. Goldwing found the small organics curious and adorable. You agreed and found it a little challenging to focus on the mission.Â
- Then fate decided to pull strings in curious ways and have you meet humans yourselves.Â
- While investigating the area, you two heard loud shrieks and saw two human sparklings running toward you from the fugitive you were tracking. They stopped, clearly having not expected to run into you, and then looked at the fugitive with fear in their eyes as the criminal attempted to grab them.Â
- You and Goldwing quickly took action. You punched the fugitive before he could touch the human sparklings, sending him flying away. He was frightened by your appearance and fled.Â
- Instead of going after him, you and Goldwing decided to check on the human sparklings. They looked at you with fear and closed their eyes when you leaned down toward them, expecting you to hurt them. They then found you gently helping them back on their feet.Â
- âHey⊠are you two alright?â you asked in their language.Â
- Goldwing started ranting about how she hated bots who would pick on people smaller than them before looking down and finding a four-legged creature with long ears rubbing itself against her leg.
- Unlike some Cybertronians who would have feared the touch of an organic, Goldwing found the creature adorable, giving it gentle scratches beneath its chin, which it seemed to enjoy.Â
- That is how you ended up meeting Tristan and Dovelyn. At first, they were frightened by you, but when you showed that you meant no harm, they relaxed. Tristan was curious, while Dovelyn was excited since she had heard about the Autobots in the city.
- Apparently, Waffles, the four-legged creature, or a âdonkeyâ as Tristan called it, had a terrible habit of escaping his pasture to the woods. So, Tristan and Dovelyn tried to catch him before Tristan's grandparents could notice, but they stumbled upon the fugitive instead, who decided to terrorize them.
- After hearing that, you and Goldwing felt relieved that they found you; otherwise, the fugitive could have done something much worse.Â
- You and Goldwing then decided to help them and their donkey, Waffles, back to their home.Â
- During the walk back, you explained the reason for your visit and mentioned that your friend was visiting a family member in the city, who was one of the Autobots. This prompted Dovelyn to launch into an excited rant about Optimus Prime and his team. It turned out she was a big fan of them. Through her enthusiastic recounting, you learned about the many great deeds they had accomplished during their time on Earth, which gave you a newfound respect for Lyraâs brother.
- Compared to the Elite Guard, Optimus Prime and his team embodied qualities that would earn the respect of any knight.Â
- You then arrived at the Ashwood farm and met Tristanâs grandparents. They were first startled by your appearance, but then relaxed after hearing what happened. It seems even they knew about the Autobots, thus not frightened by you. However, they nearly assumed you were part of the Decepticons, for they were known to be the giants who flew. You assured them that you and Goldwing were not Decepticons.Â
- They expressed their gratitude, and after making sure Waffles would not go on another one of his escapades, you and Goldwing prepared to continue your mission.Â
-Tristan looked sad to see you go, and Dovelyn even asked if they could come along. You gently turned them down. Dealing with a dangerous fugitive could cause them unnecessary harm, which was something you did not wish to happen to them. Tristanâs grandparents agreed with you and told them to stay.Â
- When you saw how sad Tristan looked, you suggested that after catching the fugitive, you could stay for a while. Your ship was quite secure, so you can afford to spend some time learning more about Earth.
- Dovelyn took you up on that offer, and Tristan looked cheered up.Â
-You and Goldwing then left the Ashwood farm to continue your mission. Goldwing teased you a little for growing a soft spot for the children, though she was also curious enough to want to stay a bit longer. You were glad she was open to it. Despite her kind being stereotyped as one of the most prideful races Cybertron has ever seen, Goldwing had always been remarkably open-minded, which was one of the things you liked about her.
- Little did you know your reunion with the children would happen sooner than expected.Â
- While tracking the fugitiveâs signature again, Lyra contacted you through the comms. She said she was bringing her brother and his team for backup. You did not mind it since more bots would increase your chances of capturing the fugitive.Â
- You agreed on a meeting point, and after waiting there, Lyra arrived with her brother and his team.Â
-After shifting out of their vehicle modes, they seemed slightly intimidated by your size, but relaxed once Lyra introduced you.
-Optimus recognized you and Goldwing as apprentices of the Knights of Cybertron. This puzzled the yellow bot and the large green one, as they had no idea who the knights were. However, the older-looking bot and the smaller one, who reminded you of the cyber ninjas, did seem to know.
- You exchanged polite greetings. You praised Optimus for the deeds he and his team had accomplished, and he expressed how he was grateful that Lyra had friends to look out for her. It had been so long since theyâd last seen each other, so knowing his sister had not ended up in a bad place brought him relief.Â
- They then introduced you to a little human girl called Sari, who had many questions about the knights and Goldwing being able to turn into this creature called a âdragonâ. They explained it was a creature similar to a Predacon.Â
-Goldwing grew slightly excited upon hearing that Earth might have its own Predacons and expressed interest in meeting them, only to be disappointed when she learned they didnât exist and were considered mere fiction.
- As Lyra had informed them about your mission, you shared the suspected location of the fugitive. Optimus devised a solid plan to capture the fugitive, and you agreed to participate, welcoming their assistance.
- This seemed to surprise the bots. Apparently, the Elite Guard often collaborated with them during visits to Earth, but rarely accepted advice, resulting in complications.
- You, Goldwing, and Lyra werenât surprised. The bots of the Elite Guard were often too proud to accept help when needed. At the Monastery, you were taught that there was no shame in accepting help when necessary.
- You split into groups and began searching for the fugitive.Â
- Little did you know that Tristan and Dovelyn had been following you. Dovelyn was excited to see the Autobots and wanted to pursue you further. Tristan was slightly reluctant, wanting to heed his grandparentsâ advice to stay out of danger. However, with Dovelyn leading the way, he decided to follow you. Â
- Your combined efforts with the Autobots proved fruitful as you located the fugitive quickly. The fugitive fought back fiercely, but with Optimus and his team, he was detained with stasis cuffs without further complications. Â
- You thanked Optimus and his team for their help. As they willingly aided you in your mission, you, Lyra, and Goldwing will assist them in the future should the need arise. Â
- Trouble began when they detected a fragment of the Allspark nearby, and the Decepticons Blitzwing and Lugnut appeared. You took cover and watched the Autobots battle the cons, feeling somewhat puzzled as this was the first time you had encountered Decepticons.Â
- One of Blitzwing's blasts ended up near a cliff where Tristan and Dovelyn were watching, causing the ground beneath them to collapse.Â
- Their screams caught your attention, and when you saw them falling. You transformed into your beast mode, which allowed you to be quicker on your feet, and swiftly sprinted toward them. You jumped over the cliff and then transformed back into your bot mode. Catching Tristan and Dovelyn, you covered them as you slid down the hill and landed on your feet.Â
-Thanks to your frame, you can endure rough falls.Â
-After seeing no harm done to the children, you scolded them for being near danger. Tristan apologized while Dovelyn was excited about you turning into this creature called a âlionâ.Â
- The Autobots struggled against the Decepticons. When the cons managed to get their hands on the Allspark fragment, you, Lyra, and Goldwing decided to join the fight after securing Tristan and Dovelyn to a safe place.Â
- You stop Blitzwing from shooting Bumblebee and punch him in the face, sending him flying away. Stunned, he switches one of his faces to hothead, cursing you out. He then attempts to shoot you with his cannons, but you quickly swipe your blade, slicing the heads off the cannons and disarming him of his weapons.
- Lyra moves around Lugnut, distracting him. He yells about the greatness of their leader and cause, and attempts to use his detonating arms. Goldwing stops him and uses her mace to send him flying.
- As you, Lyra, and Goldwing surround the cons with Optimus and his team, they attempt to escape.Â
- âTheyâre getting away with the Allspark fragment!â Sari exclaimed.Â
- âNot that if we can help it,â Goldwing grinned at you.Â
- You then transformed into your jet mode while Goldwing shifted into her Predacon form. You two then swiftly flew after the cons, leaving the bots looking after you in awe.
- With your flight modes, you managed to catch up with the cons. They were caught off guard as Goldwing grabbed Blitzwing, while you transformed into your bot mode and punched one of Lugnutâs boosters, sending them both falling toward the ground.Â
- After they crashed, you and Goldwing landed and retrieved the fragment they had dropped. Optimus and his team caught up with you, bringing Tristan and Dovelyn.Â
- You then returned the fragment to the bots.Â
- Lugnut and Blitzwing stood up and fled after seeing you all, retreating as they were too damaged to continue the fight.Â
- Optimus and his team were impressed, especially when you turned out to be a triple changer. However, they appreciated the help.Â
- After securing the fugitive aboard your ship, you chose to honor the promise you made to Tristan and stay at the Ashwood farm. Optimus and his team also decided to linger for a while, curious about the farm since they rarely ventured outside the city.
-Tristanâs grandparents were welcoming toward the Autobots.Â
- Lyra took the time to tease Optimus and tell his team embarrassing stories from their Sparklinghood. His team was invested, especially since they didnât know he had a sister.Â
- Tristan and Dovelyn had a decent time introducing Waffles and other farm animals to you, Goldwing, and Prowl, who turns out to have a fondness for the Earth's nature.Â
- You found the horses fascinating and rather beautiful. You spend more time learning about them and how they were used in one of the human sports. Apparently, you became a fan of them.Â
- There was also a curious phenomenon of the farm animals taking a special liking to you, having no fear of you, and letting you touch them. Prowl said that some animals were good at telling if someone was a good person. That gave Lyra and Goldwing some stuff to tease you about.Â
- When day began to pass and the time of your departure came near, you spent some time with Tristant.
-He looked downcast and admitted he didnât want to see you leave so soon. Ever since his parents sent him to live with his grandparents, making friends had been difficult for him. At school, kids his age often mocked him for his fascination with astrology and stars, calling it lame and something only losers cared about.
-Dovelyn was one of his only friends, and someone who didn't mock him for his interest.
- You comforted him even though you did not understand why humans would think astrology as something lame. You told him about how ancient Cybertronians once relied on stars for navigation to get around the galaxy. It was a dying skill nowadays on Cybertron, but still practised by the knights.
-It cheered Tristan a bit, and you shared some things about yourselves.
-To your delight, Tristan and Dovelyn ended up befriending Sari.
-With both being friends with alien robots, they had something in common. As it turned out, Sari didnât have many friends of her age either, due to her father being the prime inventor of the cityâs technology. So, Tristan and Dovelyn became her first real human friends.
- As the sun had begun to set, you and your companions decided it was time for you to depart.Â
- Tristan was sad to see you go and asked if you would ever come back. You comforted him and assured him that you would find a way; perhaps next time you could return for an educational trip. You and the knights have been aiming to educate the Cybertronians about organic life and eliminate their exaggerated fear of it.
- You then bid farewell to Team Prime and the Ashwoods before departing Earth on your ship, feeling quite happy with your trip. With Goldwingâs and Lyraâs approval, you planned your next visit to the planet, eager to see your little human friends again.

The Fall of Cybertron: The Wrathful Blade
In your now-dead home world, you and your Dinobot friends try to survive as best you can. One day, an old friend guides you to a place where you discover a blade that is seemingly connected to you and reveals the secrets to everything that happened to you during the war.
(Author's note: this is set in the Fall of Cybertron game. I loved playing it and thought it was a pity there were no more games made for it (not talking about the dark spark. It would have been good on its own if it had not been strangely mixed with bayverse). However, I got an idea for this fic for my harbingers. It's been forever since I played it, so I might not remember everything, but I do remember loving it. )
Warnings: mentions of the war, violence, descriptions of dying, getting executed, coming back to life, some angst, getting buried alive, a dead homeworld, dangers, Grimlock being a bit grumpy, Shockwave being a warning himself, this fic being a bit long, and maybe a soft ending?
----------------------------------------------------------
Even after Optimus Prime and Megatron departed Cybertron, taking most of their faction with them, and Cybertron became a lifeless wasteland, danger still lurked in every corner you looked. It was even worse due to the Energon shortage.Â
After digging yourself out of the wreckage of the structure you blew up in your last mission, you witnessed the final struggle between Autobots and Decepticons as they raced for the space bridge. They both disappeared into the vortex as it closed, taking both factions somewhere unknown to you.Â
You then wandered your now-dead homeworld, trying your best to survive with those still left on the planet.Â
In truth, you should be dead; you should have been dead a long time ago.Â
At the beginning of the war, you joined the Autobots because you believed in peace. You found Megatronâs and his Decepticonsâ methods and ideals cruel and unjust.Â
At first, you werenât aware that you had the ability to come back to life after certain death. The first time it happened was when the outpost you were stationed at got attacked with heavy artillery, and you woke up later to find the outpost destroyed, with you and your supervisor as the only survivors.Â
You thought it was luck until the second time you died.Â
It was during a Decepticon assault on one of the Autobot bases. You tried your best to follow Optimus and your supervisor to battle and live, but then the combaticons entered the battlefield and formed into Bruticus. You were helpless against the combiner as Bruticus used his ability to send you and many of your Autobot comrades flying in the air. Darkness was what you met when you hit the wall and the ground.Â
That should have been the end of you, but then you woke up, back at the spot where you fell. Your wounds healed like your body had regenerated itself.Â
You had no time to ponder how you survived when you saw the combiner ready to kill your supervisor. Acting quickly, you hopped on the combinerâs back and distracted him enough to free your supervisor. With your supervisor free, you two made your escape from the combiner.Â
Your supervisor was surprised but glad to see you alive. With the ongoing battle, you had no time to ponder the answers to your survival. But from that day forth, you knew there was something different about you.Â
You shared what happened with the other bots, especially when all the wounds you sustained during that battle were no more. Since no one saw how you came back online, they suspected you might have been lucky or possessed an outlier ability to regenerate yourself. You didnât believe in that theory because you had sustained injuries before that never healed by themselves.Â
It left you feeling slightly freaked out. How did your injuries fix themselves? How did you even come back online?Â
You especially remember taking the brunt of that hit, which felt like all joints of your protoform were shattered and slamming hard against the ground from the fall, killing you.Â
You tried not to think about that incident as the war continued. But then, you started hearing⊠him.Â
He was a bodiless voice. You nearly panicked the first time you heard him, and believed that the war had officially messed up your head, until you realized he was speaking through a small insect. His voice was rather gentle, and he claimed to be someone close to you. You doubted the last part, even though he sounded oddly familiar.Â
He did not reveal his name to you initially, claiming it would be revealed to you in time. It left you in doubt, especially when he claimed he was there to help you.Â
Well⊠despite the oddity of your bodiless friend, he spoke the truth. Through a small insect, he helped you through many missions, especially those that involved more strange phenomena around you. And sometimes, he even became a source of comfort, especially when the war began to take its toll on you.Â
Throughout the war, you managed to fulfill many missions without dying. You tried to avoid it as you didnât want to test if you could return from the dead the second time. Even if you did, you did not want to have new memories of it.Â
You managed to make a small name for yourself, becoming known as the reliable Autobot soldier and comrade. Despite the strange occurrences around you and the mystery of your return from the dead, Optimus and the other Autobots trusted you. It felt great, and for a while, the war seemed to go in your sideâs favor. You felt hopeful that you would be able to put an end to this conflict soon and see Cybertron return to the peaceful days.Â
Unfortunately, those hopes were turned upside down when the Decepticons suddenly got the upper hand, but you finally gained an answer to the mystery of your death when you, along with your supervisor and other captured Autobots, were executed.Â
You watched helplessly as your supervisor was killed right before your eyes, and then it was your turn. Right in front of your leaderâs eyes, you were shot in the chest. You felt the searing pain as the blast melted through your armor and extinguished your spark â everything then fell into darkness.Â
The shot went right into your spark, so there shouldnât have been any coming back for you.Â
But⊠you later woke up and found yourself in the trash suite, where you and your dead Autobot comrades were discarded.
You were filled with shock because this time, you knew you should be dead, but you were alive. There was something different as well, around you; there were scorch marks, and your entire body seemed to have gone through a change. Your armor was tougher with no holes in your spark chamber, you had become taller, there was an odd fire-red glow in your optics, and your sparkâŠ
âŠYour spark felt like it burned brighter than ever.Â
You struggled to comprehend your situation, but with Optimus and other Autobots still captive, you pulled yourself together and took action. Escaping the trash suite proved no difficulties, but sneaking around the facility with Decepticons everywhere was challenging. However, you managed to find your way to Optimus and other captives and free them when the opportunity arose.Â
They were startled by your appearance, especially since they were there when you were executed, but you managed to free them and escape the Decepticons.Â
They had many questions for which you did not have an answer. Optimus was glad to see you alive, despite being equally shocked. He also felt something shift in the Matrix of Leadership when he stood near you. He couldnât tell what it was, but it was clear that there was something special about you.Â
Since that day, you gained the name The Soldier Who Came Back From The Dead. You did not know what to think of it. You had hoped your bodiless friend would come and give you an answer, since he seemed to know something about you that you didnât.
Despite the incident, you continued fighting. However, the war did not take a turn for the better, especially when all the Energon reserves were completely depleted. Things took an even worse turn when Megatron returned.Â
In your last mission, your task was to prevent the Decepticon abominations from escaping. Things turned dire, so you stayed behind to ensure the abominations would not escape. The whole building collapsed, and you were buried under it. You should have died, but you came back again and spent a lot of time digging your way back to the surface. Â
After witnessing the outcome of the last battle, you wandered your lifeless homeworld, trying to salvage whatever Energon was left and see if you could find anyone who stayed behind.Â
One day, you found your way to the tower that activated the space bridge and found a life signal. Deciding to investigate, you stumbled upon the infamous Grimlock.
He was barely online since he was near the blast, but you managed to stabilize him with whatever spare parts and medical knowledge you had, saving his life. You then helped him through the insecticon-infested land and eventually found his team. Luckily, they werenât too far, as they had been looking for him since the blast.Â
With their help and a makeshift base, you managed to fix all of Grimlock's injuries.Â
After you told them what happened to you, they accepted you into their group. Grimlock was slightly grumpy about it. He was not keen on strangers, but since you technically saved his life, he allowed it, though he made it clear that they would leave you behind if you dragged them down.Â
You had heard from Optimus about him, so his attitude did not fully faze you, but you did try your best to be helpful to the team.
Luckily, it wasnât difficult. Aside from Grimlock, they were actually easy to get along with despite their unusual quirks. Apparently, Shockwave had experimented on them, resulting in their new beast-like modes. You found their alternative modes fascinating, as they were creatures you had never seen before. They shared that they found records about a different world that had these creatures, which their alternative modes were modeled after. It was also the world to which Shockwave opened the space bridge, answering the question of where the space bridge took the Autobots and Decepticons.
They had actually heard little about you and your return from the dead, which allowed for some conversation. Unfortunately, you still did not have an answer for how you were able to come back.Â
Surviving in your now-dead home world was challenging. There were dangers everywhere, and there wasnât much Energon, thanks to Megatron poisoning Cybertronâs core with Dark Energon.Â
You could still remember that day like yesterday, how your world died beneath your feet. It made you feel great sadness. As Dark Energon flourished in dead places, you came across it many times during your travels.Â
Strangely, the Dark Energon didnât seem to have any effect on you. On the contrary, when you stood near it, it seemed to replenish your energy. It was oddâyouâd heard of its corrupting qualities, yet for you, it appeared to be nourishing. Maybe just another strange phenomenon to add to the growing list of weird things you could do. Just⊠what are you? Why are you capable of these things?
You and the Dinobots eventually found a place to establish a safe havenâa place where you could rest and plan your next moves. With nearly everything on the surface either destroyed or unsafe, you chose to build your base underground.
Things were stable for a while.Â
One day, you suddenly saw the familiar bug and heard your friend's voice again. You had wondered where he had been since he had been quiet for a long time.Â
When you asked, he apologized and replied that he had been caught up in things.Â
He then revealed to you that there was a location that had Energon and something that belonged to you. You were confused and asked what he meant. He explained it was something that was taken from you a long time ago. If you managed to get it back, it would help you and your dinobot friends in the long run.
You were uncertain about it, but since there was a possibility of finding energon, you decided to tell the Dinobots. They were hesitant to trust a bug, and you didnât blame themâyou hadnât exactly told your Autobot comrades about your friend either, unsure how to explain it without sounding crazy. However, with energon supplies running low, they chose to trust your judgment and agreed to investigate the location with you.
With your friend's guidance, you came to what seemed to be an old Decepticon research facility. There were insecticons, but not the kind that obeyed Shockwave. Strangely, these insecticons left you be and just observed you and the dinobots from a distance. Even Grimlock thought it was weird.Â
Without further issues, you entered the facility. You searched for the Energon and the strange item your friend said belonged to you.Â
However, you were not alone in the facility.Â
Grimlock had shared that Shockwave had been at the tower when it blew up, so the infamous Decepticon scientist should be offline. Grimlock himself nearly went offline, and it was by luck that you found and repaired him in time.Â
Well, turns out Megatronâs valued scientist was still online.Â
When you least expected it, the facility came online, and Shockwaveâs voice echoed through the rooms. He then activated the facilityâs system, forcing you and your companions to disperse and avoid getting caught by traps set by the con.Â
You had heard a thing or two about Shockwave and his experiments, but you never imagined yourself ending up as one of his targets.Â
Swoop figured that you needed to shut down the system from the main control center. So, thatâs what you all aimed for.Â
It was a difficult struggle. You ended up separating to increase your chances of getting to the main center, but you eventually got there first.Â
You stood in front of the closed doors. Fear and anxiety flared within you as there was a high possibility that Shockwave was in there. The reasonable action would be to wait for your companions to catch up with you, but they were dispersed around the facility and possibly trapped. If you don't act, they might get caught in something they will not walk out of alive.Â
âIâm at the main center. Iâm going to shut down the system,â you said through the comm.Â
âAre you sure? Shockwave might be in there?â Swoop questioned.Â
âI proceed with caution. The quicker I get the system down, the quicker you can get here,â You replied.Â
âAlright. Be careful,â Swoop answered.Â
You took a deep breath. You hacked through the doors by pulling out the right wires from the console, a trick you learned from Wheeljack, and entered the main center.Â
The room had consoles and terminals around. And at the end of the room, you saw what seemed to be an observation deck that showed you an arena. You figured that this facility was used to engineer and test out weapons.
You then noticed what seemed to be a sword hovering inside a stand. Its metal was black, and the blade was shattered into pieces. It had a red gem embedded on its handle, which glowed with a soft red light.
Curious and feeling a strange pull toward the broken sword, you walked closer. The light from its gem began to glow brighter when you came near it, and then you felt your spark quietly pulsing. It left you feeling strange.Â
Was this the item your friend told you to look for?Â
You then remembered your current task.Â
You looked around the room and found the main console. Rushing to it, you examined the buttons and monitors. Through several monitor screens, you spotted Grimlock and the others trapped in various rooms. By pressing the buttons, you shut down the facilityâs system, releasing your companions from their traps.Â
You then opened your comm. âSwoop, Grimlock. I shut down the system, but thereâs no sign of Shockwave,â you said.Â
âGood job. Wait for us there. Weâll catch up with you,â Swoop replied.Â
You then released a relieved exhale, but your momentary relief was short-lived when you noticed Shockwave standing right next to you. You blocked when he tried to hit you with his cannon-like arm, but then he grabbed you, effortlessly picking you up and sending you flying across the room.Â
You slammed hard against the flooring, groaning painfully as you received some painful bruises. But then you saw one of those giant servo claws hanging above you. You yelped when it grabbed you by your waist and then slammed you hard against the nearest wall.Â
You groaned in pain as you hit your head. When you regained your bearings and saw Shockwave, you tried to use your blaster arm, but it was grabbed by another servo claw, pinning you against the wall. You tried to struggle and pull yourself free, but the servo claws had a strong grip on you, leaving you defenseless against Shockwave.Â
âProceeding on your own and letting down your guard so quickly was the most illogical action, but I guess I should thank you. For it allowed you to be separated from your companions and allowed me the chance to contain you. Now I can deal with your dinobot friends,â Shockwave said as he turned the facilityâs system back online.Â
â(Name). Whatâs going on?â Swoop asked through the comm as he and Grimlock were locked in a room.Â
âItâs Shockwave! Heâs here. Get out of there!â you answered, but your comlink was soon cut off.Â
âNow that we have some privacy, we can talk,â Shockwave turned toward you.Â
âIf you think Iâm going to be an easy test subject for you, Shockwave, you are dead wrong,â you replied.Â
âMegatron is no longer on Cybertron. You no longer have Insecticons to fight for you. Grimlock and the others will get through your traps and come for you,â you added.Â
âWe shall see about that. I have no use for my previous experiments. My goal here was to obtain you,â Shockwave stated.Â
âMe?â you frowned.Â
âFor what?â you asked before glancing at the sword that still glowed with red light. Â
âThe sword?âÂ
âGood. You catch on quickly. I wish the same could be said about your dinobot companions,â Shockwave said as he turned toward the broken sword.Â
âI... do not understand. What do I have to do with that sword? Whatâs so special about it anyway?â you questioned.Â
âThat is what I am here to find out, and to answer your other questionâŠâ Shockwave stood before the broken blade.Â
âThis is the sword Coreiseuse, the Wrathful Blade â a weapon that belonged to one of Unicronâs children, the Harbinger of War,â Shockwave began. âIt is said to grant its wielder control over armies and ensure victory in any battle,â he continued.
âAt first we thought Coreiseuse and the Harbingers of Unicron were nothing but a mythâuntil we discovered a vault where the blade had been hidden by the ancient Autobots who once tried to harness its power,â he said.
You looked at him, puzzled. The Harbingers of Unicron?Â
âThe ancient archives revealed that Coreiseuse caused everyone who tried to wield it to fall into utter madness, causing them to attack anyone in sight until they die. The ancient Autobots concluded Coreiseuse would only respond to its previous master or one it deems equally worthy,â Shockwave continued.Â
âLord Megatron attempted to harness Coreiseuse and finally bring an end to the war and the Autobots. However, Coreiseuse rejected him. He managed to withstand Coreiseuseâs maddening energy due to the dark energon in his veins, but despite his immunity and might, the blade broke itself as a last act of resistance,â he revealed.Â
You did not know if you felt glad about the outcome.Â
"Several attempts were made to repair Coreiseuse, but with no success, as the metal it was made from refused to be shaped and continued breaking through other alloys it could have been repaired with. I then attempted to utilize its energy that still lay dormant within, but even that soon depleted. It had become nothing but a broken trinket.â Shockwave then turned toward you.Â
âBut then you arrived,â Â
âWhen my scanners detected you in the area, Coreiseuse awakened from its dormancy and pulsated like it was calling you toward it,â he said.
âThe Autobot soldier who came back from the dead,â he added, which caused you to feel dread.Â
He knew?Â
âI donât know what you are talking about,â you said.
âDo not try to act coy with me,â Shockwave stated.Â
âYou might have gone unnoticed by your Autobots and your precious leader, but you have certainly not gone unnoticed by me,â he said as he pushed a button, which brought out a monitor. The monitor turned on and showed you a familiar trash suite.Â
âThis was taken after your corpse was thrown out after your execution,â Shockwave said as you watched the footage. Â
In the footage, you saw your own lifeless body suddenly starting to levitate. It then began glowing with a brilliant red light. There was a sound, and the footage flickered as the glow illuminated the entire room. The glow then vanished, and you saw yourself, waking up alive, the corpses around you burning.Â
You did not know what to think. You never really knew how you came back to life, so this was the first time youâve seen it happen. So, thatâs how you came to life?
âWhen I saw the footage, I suspected you were a fireborn at first. However, your rebirth seems to have the opposite effect on the environment. I studied the energy traces your resurrection left, and the results have been fascinating,â Shockwave spoke.
âYou are something else,â he said. âThe question is⊠what?âÂ
âI⊠do not know,â you uttered, shaking your head. You did not honestly have any idea.Â
âAfter that day, I had observed you. (Name), A faithful Autobot soldier who mysteriously came back to life. I hoped to ask Lord Megatron to have you obtained for research, but back then, we had more concerning matters to solve,â Shockwave continued.Â
âAnd now, seeing Coreiseuse reacting to your presence. It is reasonable to believe that you share a connection. It could be that you are a descendant of the Harbinger of War, or a reincarnation,â Shockwave theorized.Â
âWhatever it is, you might be the key to repairing Coreiseuse and revealing a way to harness its power,â he added.Â
You glared at him. âIf you think I willingly work for someone like you, you have more than a few screws loose in your processor,â you said.Â
âOh, I do not need your cooperation, but it might make your life easier if you do,â Shockwave replied. Â
âOtherwise, I would just open you up and see what makes you tick, but something tells me you are more valuable alive, and that you are incapable of staying offline,â he replied.Â
âWe can get started once Iâve dealt with your companions,â he said as he turned toward the console.Â
You started panicking when you saw him control the traps. Struggling against the servo claws that held you against the wall, you watched helplessly as he controlled the facility. Through the monitors, you saw Grimlock and the others get stuck in traps where death was certain. You began to panic, struggling to free yourself from the servos. What now? If you donât do something, Grimlock and the others might get destroyed.Â
What now?Â
What now?!
âCalm down. It will be alright,âÂ
You stopped when you heard your friendâs voice and saw the insect land on the servo that held you.Â
Your friend chuckled.Â
âShockwave is a fool. A Harbingerâs weapon cannot be wielded by anyone except by the Harbinger it was forged for. Even if he found a way to repair Coreiseuse, he would not be able to wield its power, not even his precious Lord Megatron. It will only break again,â he said with amusement.Â
âPleaseâŠâ you uttered quietly. âIs there something you can do to help?â you asked.Â
âI donât want them toâŠâ You looked toward the monitors, where you saw Grimlock and the others getting closer to certain death.Â
âDonât panic,â your friend said softly. âUnfortunately, I have already done my part. There's nothing else I need to do. âÂ
You looked down defeatedly.Â
â... but you can,â he added.Â
You looked up at the bug.Â
âHow?â you questioned.Â
He chuckled.Â
âYou do remember the reason I guided you here? â he asked.Â
You then looked toward Coreiseuse. The light around it glowed as you looked at it, and you felt slightly baffled. Coreiseuse was⊠yours?
âThatâs right,â your friend said.Â
âCall out to Coreiseuse. â
âIt will answer to you, for you are its true master,â he stated.Â
Your spark began pulsing as you felt an invisible bond with the broken blade.Â
âAnd once it is back in your hands, all the questions you ever had will finally be answered.âÂ
Feeling your spark burn within your chest, you looked at Shockwave. All the memories of the war, the losses, and the continuing madness crossed your mind. Throughout this war, you had tried to stay strong and keep yourself together, but now, Shockwave planned to kill the only friends you had left on this dead planet.Â
You do not know what you will do if Grimlock and the others die in this place. The idea of it was enough to make you feel angry.Â
âGood. You have fought for so long, trying to obtain peace. Now, it's time to release your rage,â your friend spoke.Â
âCall out to Coreiseuse and unleash your anger,â he encouraged.Â
You took a deep breath and looked toward Coreiseuse as it glowed, as if sensing the anger within you, almost as if it were urging you to command it. You extended your hand, reaching for the bond between you and the blade.
âShow this fool⊠who you are,â
Letting down the walls you had kept so long, you allowed your anger to come forth. Your spark pulsed, and Coreiseuse responded in kind. Suddenly, your entire frame began releasing burning red energy, and through your optics, you saw red. The claw servos began to melt from the intensity of the energy that sprouted from your veins and armor.Â
Coreiseuse glowed, responding to your call. Its broken pieces began to place themselves back into their places.Â
You breathed heavily as you felt yourself burn. The anger, despair, everything you had felt throughout the war poured out like a flaming river.
When all Coreiseuseâs broken pieces placed themselves back together, the red gem on the handle glowed, causing the steel to burn and mend itself. Once complete, it flew out of the stand and into your hand, catching Shockwave off guard when he noticed what was happening.Â
You then yelled in rage as you swiped your blade, releasing a powerful wave of energy. Everything in the main center exploded, shutting down the systems, and Shockwave was flown out through the observation deck as the glass broke.Â
He hit the wall of the arena and fell to the ground. He groaned as he kneeled up. Several of his systems were damaged, and his frame sustained heavy scorch wounds. He then looked back toward the observation deck.Â
With Coreiseuse in hand, you appeared on the observation deck. Red energy radiated around your frame, and your optics burned crimson. Two horns sprouted from your helm, and the energy formed behind you, casting the shape of two wings on your back.
As the arena lights were destroyed by the blast, the space was illuminated solely by the red energy surrounding you.
âIllogical,â Shockwave uttered in astonishment.Â
âYou cannot be a cybertronian. What are you?â he questioned.Â
âFrom the moment I was born... a voice echoed,â you uttered, your voice deep and resonating with another beneath it.
âWith your burning red spark, you shall judge over conflicts and unleash the flames of chaos. And with this blade, you shall wield your wrath and ensure your judgment leads to either victory or ruin,â you said.
âGo forth and bring war, my child of flame,â you added, your gaze fixed on Shockwave.
You roared as you swiped your blade, unleashing a powerful wave of energy at Shockwave. He managed to take cover and narrowly avoided the strike. The burning slash hit the arena ceiling, triggering a collapse.
Shockwave looked toward the open ceiling before turning toward you. âThis will not be over,â he said as he transformed and escaped through the open ceiling.Â
After he was gone, the energy radiating from your spark dissipated. You collapsed to one knee, using Coreiseuse for support as exhaustion hit you hard. Your breaths came deep and heavy, every movement weighed down by fatigue. Still, you couldnât help but marvel at the destruction you had unleashed with Coreiseuse.
And that was not all.Â
The moment Coreiseuse flew into your hands, your mind was flooded with knowledge and memories that hadnât been there before. It was as if missing pieces suddenly clicked into place. They didnât feel like memories exactly, but more like truthsâfeelings of who you truly are, where you came from, and what you are.
And then there was your friendâthe one who called himself someone close to you.
He said his name would reveal itself to you in time, because deep down, you had always known who he was.
And who you truly are.
You suddenly heard the door being ripped open. Grimlock and Swoop ran through, having been freed from their traps.Â
â(Name)! Are you alright?!â Swoop ran up to you before seeing the destruction you made.Â
âWoah! What happened over here?â he asked.
âDid you do that? We heard a loud explosion and all the systems went down,â he questioned.Â
You sighed, not even sure how to explain it.Â
âWhere is Shockwave?â Grimlock looked around.Â
âHe escaped. After I took control of this sword, I⊠well⊠this happened,â you motioned toward the destruction.Â
âWell⊠if it's that powerful. I guess it will help us out in the long run. We found a good amount of energon to bring back as well,â Swoop stated.Â
âThatâs not all⊠This blade⊠Shockwave said it belonged to the Harbinger of War,â You looked at the blade in your hand.Â
âThe Harbinger of War? You mean one of Unicronâs children?â Swoop questioned, slightly baffled.Â
âAnd the voice that led us here... he said it rightfully belongs to me, and the reason I keep coming back to life. IâŠâ you hesitated.
A tear slid down your cheek, the realization weighing heavily on your mind.
âI might not be a cybertronian at all,â you exclaimed.Â
âIâm suddenly aware of everything, why I came back, who the voice is, yet I also feel like I know nothing,â you said. âIâŠdonât know whatâs going on with me,âÂ
Grimlock and Swoop looked at each other, unsure how to react.Â
âHey⊠uh⊠how about we grab the energon and return to base? Letâs try to sort this out there. Can you stand ?â Swoop asked softly.Â
You tried to stand, pushing yourself up, but your legs were weak and exhausted, nearly giving out beneath you. Swoop caught you just in time and supported your weight.
âWoah! Easy! Whatever you did, it took a toll on you, didnât it?â he asked.Â
âSorry⊠I know I promised not to drag you down, but⊠I canât help it,â you said, glancing at Grimlock.Â
Grimlock huffed. â(Name)... one of us, â he uttered, and then suddenly picked you up. You nearly yelped out of surprise, wrapping your other arm around his shoulder as he effortlessly carried you on his one arm. âAnd dinobots⊠do not leave their own behind,â he said as he started walking out of the room, carrying you on his arm.Â
Swoop followed. âWhoa! Kind of an improvement from the big guy, â he grinned.Â
âBut Grimâs right. You are one of us now. And whatever is going on with you, donât worry about it. We help you figure it out, just like how you helped us,â Swoop said.
âRight, Grim?â he glanced at the bigger bot.
Grimlock only grumbled as he kept walking.
You showed a soft smile. âThank you⊠âYou said.Â
âAny time, buddy. Besides⊠you got someone like Shockwave run away with his tailpipe between his legs. I say you are more than welcome to stick with us,â Swoop grinned.Â
You then let your friends carry you out of the facility after retrieving the energon. Though you still felt overwhelmed by everything, you felt safe. And whatever lay ahead in your future, you knew that with Grimlock and the others by your side, you would be fine.

Knights of Cybertron (Part 1)
You were one of the training apprentices of the Knights of Cybertron. They took you in as a foundling after finding you orphaned on their doorstep, and you lived a good childhood under their care, even though you were regarded with caution by the Autobots due to your connection to the Decepticon leader. Things changed when the Decepticon uprising occurred, and you traveled to Earth with your two friends.
(Author's note: Watched the transformers animated series since it's been forever since I last seen it. 1 and 2 seasons were excellent. The third season felt a bit rushed, not gonna lie. Otherwise, pretty good series. Anyway, it gave me some new fic ideas. I reused some of my own characters. I couldn't come up with a better title. )
Warnings: some mentions of the war, some prejudice against you, the knights being good, technically being an orphan, some characters being rule breakers, reader being in a relationship, and some stuff being made up by me.
---------------------------------------------
- You donât remember much of your childhood before the war. You were raised in the knight monastery after its end, and the monastery is all you have ever known, honestly.Â
- You were taken in as a foundling by the Knights of Cybertron, an ancient order that has existed before and after the war, preserving Cybertronâs ancient histories and culture. They followed no political views, and studied history and the way of the blade.Â
- You lived a fairly good childhood. Your mentor and parental figure did their best to raise you. They told you how your carrier had unfortunately passed away during the end days of the war, and how you were found at the steps of the monastery.Â
- As it would have been impossible for sparklings to be born during wartime, you were most likely born before the war and then put into stasis, to be woken up at the end of the war. It was not an unusual method to preserve the future generations, so that was most likely what happened to you.Â
- Hearing about your carrier's fate left you sad, but you accepted it. However, during your childhood, when Cybertron was in the state of rebuilding. You noticed the Autobots looking at you in a way, some with skepticism, and some with fear, like they had seen a ghost. It was strange.Â
- Then came a day when the Autobots came to your mentor and other knights about something. You donât remember everything they discussed, but you had a feeling that it had something to do with you. When they left, your mentor revealed why they came and the reason why they gave you strange looks.Â
- It was because of your sire. He was a bad kind of bot who did many terrible things. He was someone responsible for the Great War.Â
- You wanted to know who your sire was, but your mentor promised to tell you once you were older.Â
- You accepted your mentorâs promise. However, after the Autobots left, you began seeing someone from the Elite Guard at the monastery, observing you. You tried asking once, but the bot simply said he was there to see the foundlings' progress and told you to pretend he was never there.Â
- You found it strange, especially when the bot seemingly observed you most, but eventually you grew used to the botâs presence and nearly forgot about the whole thing.Â
- When you grew out of your sparklinghood, your mentor finally revealed who your sire was and why the Autobots sent someone to monitor you.Â
- Your sire was the famed Decepticon leader Megatron, who was exiled from Cybertron after the Autobotsâ victory in the Great War. Your carrier likely tried to fetch you from stasis so you would not have been left behind, but was ambushed and gravely injured. As a last resort, your carrier left you on the doorstep of the knights to keep you safe from the Autobots, since the Knights of Cybertron did not believe in condemning sparklings for the actions of their parents.Â
- When the Autobots realized who you were, they attempted to take you into their custody due to who your sire was. However, your mentor and the other knights defended you, making a deal with the Council that you would be raised under the virtues and principles of the Knights of Cybertron.Â
- Though reluctant, the Council agreed to the deal, partly because they did not dare go against such an important order. They conditioned that they would monitor your growth progress and that your future would be solely bound to the Knights of Cybertron.Â
- They suggested keeping your parentage a secret, but your mentor claimed you were entitled to know the truth.Â
- It was a lot to take in, but everything that happened in your childhood finally made sense.Â
- You should have probably felt angry over such unusual conditions, and that the Autobots saw you for who your sire was, but you honestly didnât.Â
- You understood history and that wars are often fought between groups with different ideals. Your carrier had been an unfortunate casualty of war, and your sire had been exiled when it happened, so there was nothing he could have done about it. You also understood the Autobots' views, even though their fear of you turning out like your sire was slightly over the top, and they were somewhat prejudiced against the Decepticons.
- On the contrary, knowing the truth helped you find a newfound appreciation for your mentor and the other knights. Despite knowing who your sire was, the knights still took you in and defended you from being wrongfully condemned. They raised you like you were one of their own.Â
- You expressed your appreciation and gratitude to your mentor. Your sire might be alive and somewhere, but he was a stranger to you. Your mentor, on the other hand, had been your closest family.Â
- Your mentor was glad that you were able to take the truth well, though they did not doubt it. Even if your sire was Megatron, you had always been a gentle and soft-spoken bot.Â
- After that, you were allowed to begin your training for knighthood. The Autobot who had been there to monitor you and was present at the revelation returned to the Council, sharing how there would be no need for further monitoring since you knew the truth and had willingly chosen to become a knight.Â
- Even though that bot had been there to watch you, you two actually became good friends over the cycles and kept in touch.Â
- You trained diligently, finding your way around the sword and blade under your mentorâs guidance. You studied history and old traditions and eventually became one of the most respected senior apprentices.Â
- During the first years of your training, you met someone special.Â
- Since the Knightâs reappearance on Cybertron, to form deeper bonds, the different cities of Cybertron send students to represent them and become knights. One of those students was a femme bot by the name Goldwing. She was a member of the Predacons, an ancient Cybertronian beast race who had reappeared after centuries and had begun to integrate back into Cybertronâs society.Â
- They were regarded with respect and fear as they turned into powerful creatures capable of flying and breathing flames. They also held lost cultures and were known as fierce warriors.Â
- You found Goldwing fascinating, as she was the first Predacon youâve seen. The two of you started talking and became friends. It turned out that the Autobots and Predacons were slightly at odds with each other, so some bots treated them poorly or with fear. You didnât, as you found them fascinating â partly because you were a half-beast former from your carrierâs side.
- Eventually, you became quite fond of each other. Although Goldwing could be intimidating with others, she had a gentle side, and she considered you a golden spark for your kind nature. The two of you began courting, as it was not prohibited among the knights.
- Your mentor and the other knights were happy for you. They had been aware of your crush and felt glad you finally mustered to courage to ask Goldwing for courtship.Â
-Some cycles later, you met a young bot named Lyra.Â
- Apparently, she had anger issues and a bad habit of not following rules, so as a last resort, she had been sent to the knight monastery to be trained as a knight. It was not unusual for the Council to send young troublemakers to become knights, either to straighten them out or because some bots saw potential in them.
- At first, she looked disinterested and was snappy toward others, but when you two started talking, she opened up quite a lot about herself.Â
- The reason she had trouble following the rules was that she viewed some of them as unfair, which easily got her worked up. She also does not tolerate unfairness toward others. Recently, her brother Optimus, a cadet in the Elite Guard Academy, was kicked out due to an incident. She had a feeling something else had happened, and that her dear, good brother willingly took the blame.
-The Autobots' high-ups grew tired of her wildness, so they sent her to the monastery. She partly did it because someone she respected asked her to at least try.
- You empathized with her situation. Then, she asked what had sent you to the monastery.
-You decided to tell her you had lived in the monastery as a foundling. She thought you were an orphan, so you decided to tell her who your sire was.
- She didnât believe it at first, claiming you were too kind to come from an evil warlord. You were even nicer than some Autobots.
- She had quite the shock when she realized you werenât joking.
-You two then became friends. Lyra kinda just latched onto you, and you unintentionally became responsible for her training. Despite the rumors, you found her free, passionate spirit refreshing.
-She did not have severe anger issues like others believed. She was just passionate, and you admit that some rules set by the Council were flawed.
-You introduced her to Goldwing, who took a liking to her, and the three of you became an unusual trio of friends. Though it kind of felt like you and Goldwing had unofficial parental duties, with Lyra as the gremlin sparkling.
- Things went alright. You neared the end of your training, and Lyra started taking knighthood more seriously.
- Things began to change when the Autobot Elite Guard informed the public about the Decepticons.Â
- Apparently, Decepticons had been seen on a distant organic planet called Earth, and the uprising had caused the Autobot Elite Guard to be stretched out. Overwhelmed with tasks, they reached out to the knights for assistance.Â
- The Knights' principles prevented you from taking sides in war, so you were strictly neutral. However, small tasks like catching dangerous criminals or assisting those in need were not beyond the knightsâ rules.
-It also provided opportunities to evaluate what you had learned and your possibilities to take the maturity exam to become full-fledged knights.
-For the first time, you were even allowed a task that would take you off Cybertron. You were assigned to search for a dangerous criminal hidden on Earth.Â
- You departed with Goldwing and Lyra, who heard that her brother Optimus was stationed on the planet with his own team, and made your course toward Earth.Â

The Earth Born Prime
In this AU, you are the one who becomes a prime.
Warnings: mentions of the war, a dying planet, human turned into cybertronian, on the run, survival, finding the matrix, blacking out, and things in the future that might mean trouble.
-------------------------------------------------------
I had an idea where in this AU, you, the reader, become a prime.Â
Let's just say that during the war, the Matrix of Leadership vanishes from Cybertron and finds its way to Earth.Â
I couldnât really decide on which reason it happened.Â
Maybe it was during a time when Optimus wasnât chosen as the Prime yet, so it became a race between the Autobots and Decepticons to find the Matrix of Leadership. But once they found it, the Matrix rejected them both and shot itself into space.Â
Or maybe it was during one of Megatronâs plots that required the Matrix's power to stop it. Optimus used its power, which then caused it to launch itself into space after foiling Megatron's plan.
With the Matrix gone, Cybertron began to die.Â
All the natural Energon sources dry up, resulting in a severe Energon shortage. Cybertronâs flora and fauna became corrupted and increasingly feral, possibly due to Megatronâs previous use of dark energon.
Overall, Cybertron turned into a lifeless wasteland.Â
The war became more about survival, as both sides desperately searched for the Matrix to revitalize their planet. But there was no sign of it. It had simply gone somewhere that neither side could find. Unbeknownst to them, the Matrix had found its way to a distant planet called Earth.
Then comes you, a once-human who turned into a transformer through a strange incident.Â
Your life changed drastically after that incident, as you were forced to hide from other humans. You had no doubts that if your military were to find you, they would dissect and experiment on you.
You had to leave your family and old life behind, traveling from place to place.
Luckily, you found some friends who accepted you and helped you survive, avoiding government sight and locating these blue crystals you needed to sustain your robotic body.Â
During one of your blue crystal hunts, you came to a cave. All seemed well until the cave's flooring gave out and you fell into a dark cavern.
Inside the cavern, you found a strange object that began to glow as you approached. Then, suddenly, it attached itself to your chest, transforming your body and flooding your mind with knowledge and visionsâvisions of a strange alien planet and robotic beings known as the Primes.
You blacked out from the intensity of the transformation and the rush of knowledge.
Far away, the spark within Cybertronâs core ignitedâweakly, but alive.Â
It was a sign to all Cybertronians that the Matrix had been found, and a new Prime had been born.Â
When it became known that the new Prime was located on this distant planet, it sparked a race between the Autobots and the Decepticons.Â
One side wanted to find and protect the newborn Prime. The other had far more sinister plans.

Painting Incident 5#
You, Skywarp, and the twins end up in a troublesome situation after getting kidnapped by the Quintessons. Luckily, you have an idea how to get yourself and your friends out of it.
Warnings: Big booms.
-----------------------------------------------
*Inside a Quintesson ship, you, Skywarp, Frenzy and Rumble run away from Quintessons after escaping your prison cells.*
*You come to a room and block the door, causing the green monstrosities to slam against it.*
You: *Look around but found no exit in the room.*
Skywarp: Frag! It's a deadend!
*The Quintessons slam against the door, trying to break in.*
Rumble: *Scared* What should we do?
You: *Silently panicking* Uh⊠I don't know!
*The Quintessons shriek behind the door as they ram against it.*
Skywarp: *Points an accusing finger at you.* I'm never gonna join in your paint hunts again after this!
You: How was I supposed to know they would suddenly kidnap us?!
*Before*
You: *Walking across the terrain.* Come on guys, the ore should be right around here.
Frenzy & Rumble: *gigling as they follow you.*
Skywarp: *Following behind you and the twins* I get why Starscream asked me to join you for your protection. The surface is pretty dangerous with the Quintessons around, but why are the twins here?
You: They asked to join, and I couldn't say no. And technically, I do need their help in mining the ore I'm looking for.
Skywarp: Did Soundwave gave you permission? He's usually pretty protective of his minicons.
You: Meh. You know I have a soft spot for kids. And besides Soundwave has eyes and ears all around Cybertron, he would have stopped us before we left if he thought the twins wouldn't be safe with me.
Skywarp: Figures. Anyway, what kind of rock are we looking for that we have to come all over here?
You: Oh, it's a type of ore that grows near the fire rivers. It's mostly used for fuel, but carefully handled -- it can be used for paint.
Skywarp: Hold up. We're on a paint hunt?
You: Actually, Alchemist asked me to retrieve some of it because we're out of stock. He mostly uses it to experiment with different explosives because its incredibly combustible due to the environment where it grows. But I found out it's mineral can be turned to paint which can give a unique texture, and if you want an art piece with burnt effect, carefully handled you can use it to create burning art.
Skywarp:*Chuckles* Okay nerd.
Frenzy: Hey, (Name), over here. Is this the ore you're looking for?!
Frenzy & Rumble: *standing near a red glowing ore*
You: Oh, you found it! Wonderful job! Now, I just take a one good cluster and we should be good to go.
You: *Grabs a cluster of the red ore and store it in your spare space.*
Skywarp: Unbelievable, I could be napping during my break, yet here I amâŠ
Frenzy & Rumble: *Gets a net thrown over them and pulled away. They let out a yelp. *
You: *Notice but before you could do anything, you get grabbed by tentacles and pulled into the shadows.*
Skywarp: âŠBabysitting the twins and a nerd who wants to make explosive paint. *finally notices you and the twins gone*... Guys?
Skywarp: *Looks around, unaware of the tentacles behind him* You know, this is not a good time for jokes. How about we just ---! * he yelps as he gets snatched by the Quintesson.*
*After*
*the Quintessons scream and nearly break through the door*
Frenzy: The door won't hold any longer!
Skywarp: We have to find a way out. Otherwise we will become their test subjects. Any ideas!?"
You: I have one, but you won't like it. Frenzy. Hold this. *Give him the red ore.*
Skywarp: *Watches you take out your paint brush.* What are you intending to do?
You: Well, if we can't find a way out, then we just have to make one. The blue paint will protect us from the blast. *Splashes him with blue paint.*
Skywarp: Ah! not again! *Watches as the blue paint materializes around him.*
You: *Splash yourself with blue paint then grab the twins beneath your arms.*
You: Prepare yourself! *Use your paintbrush to levitate the ore, feeding it energy and sparks. The ore began to convulse and glow with light.*
*The Quintessons break through the door.*
*Outside the Quintesson ship*
Starscream: *Standing at a distance with the High Guard* Alright, this should be the ship where they keep (Name), Skywarp, and the twins. We must be quick in their rescue, and hope they haven't already fallen to terrible experiments by the hands of those monsters.
*A giant explosion suddenly burst from within the Quintesson ship, causing colorful smoke to rise toward the sky*
You & Skywarp: *Scream as you fall from the sky inside blue giant rubbery balls that bounce against the ground.*
Starscream & High guard: *Watch as you bounce and then land in front of them. *
You: *Your ball stops bouncing and spins a few time until it stops, your and the twin's heads outside the blue ball. *
You:*Smiles after recovering from the dizziness* Oh, hey Star. Don't worry we managed to escape without harm.
Rumble: Haha! That was fun!
Frenzy: Yeah. Let's do it again!
Skywarp: *Rolling on the background inside his blue ball* Can I get some help over here?
