This diagram of the internal anatomy of a spider is inspired from one published in 1912 by entomologist (and arachnologist I guess) John Comstock. It's probably weird to think of organ systems as beautiful, but the intricate and elaborate structures are so incredible I think they really deserve that adjective.

I started making these bags because this is a really important issue to me. Trans people deserve equal rights and sovereignty over their bodies.
I considered a lot of different slogans but decided to go with ‘Protect Trans People’ because it cuts right to the chase.

Virgin tiger moth

Apantesis virgo
I’m so happy about how this virgin tiger moth turned out. The red layer under the cream layer gives the art a bit of a glitchy appearance, which is something I definitely need to experiment with more.
I've actually got this above my bed, it's so pretty, but it's also available on my etsy.

Apple still life

#tbt - figuring out how to make the highlights on these apples with layered paper was really fun! And I love how crisp the apples turned out, looking like you can just bite right into them.

Went a little insane with my new cricut and made all these paper flowers. What am I going to do with them?!?!?

Red-Spotted Purple

I miss how often I saw these beautiful red-spotted purple butterflies when I was living in Alabama! Not a lot of attention is giving to the underside of butterfly wings, but they’re often just as beautiful as the top.
