*Posted Earlier This Month On Insta (along with the next few posts)* 🏳️‍🌈 HAPPY PRIDE MONTH! 🏳️‍🌈 I'm planning on making ship art for some of my fave queer ships for the month! Honestly, even when the month finishes I'll probably continue anyways, lol. My first ship is Pearl × Bismuth from Steven Universe (I was planning on doing Garnet first with Ruby and Sapphire, but I realised I wanted it to be a big fully rendered piece, so I'm going to need more time). I feel like SU is a good place to start because like gay rocks rebelling against the dictators of their home planet... I really loved the representation in the show and how there was no beating around the bush, and no last minute confirmations. I know its a little late into the month, but having the motivation to draw and post is hard man (°¬°').

Hey everyone, here’s another picture and this time, I would like to introduce you to my version of the fusion of Pearl and Bismuth called Rainbow Peacock Kyanite. So she isn’t confused with Rainbow Quartz, she prefers to be called Peacock or Kyanite.

Now, as conveyed in my Fire Opal, and Lake Superior Agate pictures, I believe each gem has their own special mark to a fusion that’s dependent on who the gem is and not what type of gem they are. As established with Fire Opal, Pearl’s quirk is that she can move some part of her body 360 degrees. For Peacock, she’s an extreme case as a majority of her body can move around like a doll. This allows Peacock to be very acrobatic.

For Bismuth’s quirk, while we haven’t seen her fusions, I agree with Cherry-Treats - Professional, Digital Artist | DeviantArt that all her fusions make a multicolored gem. So, three or more colors.

For Peacock, she’s a mix Bismuth rowdy personality with Pearl’s rebel Pearl persona to be a total rebel at heart. She’s like Sardonyx and loves to put on a show but is more like one of star performer in a circus than a talk show host. She defiantly would love to spare. Peacock has a snarkier personality than Sardonyx. As for Peacock’s weapon, I believe that it is a battle axe. (Which fuses Pearl’s spear and the fact that one of the most common of Bismuth’s shapeshifted hands is an axe. Plus, it fits well with the two. I just didn’t draw it because I’m lazy. Sorry.)

The idea of Bismuths and Pearl’s quirks and the ball joints for Peacock Rainbow Kyanite were inspired by Cherry-Treats - Professional, Digital Artist | DeviantArt.

Peacock’s hair is inspired by Bismuth + Pearl Fusion: Labradorite : stevenuniverse (reddit.com). And yeah, in my Headcannon, Bismuth and Pearl are totally dating each other. It’s just too cute.

And yeah. Pretty short description compared to the last two.
