Samantha Béart: yeah so Karlach isn't like. A totally good person. She's certainly not evil, but she's definitely flawed. There is a dark side to her that she doesn't want you to know about, and not only has she done heinous things in the past, she's still fully capable of doing heinous things now. Her happy-go-lucky attitude is 1000% a trauma response and this woman absolutely NEEDS to go to therapy because her mental health? It's in shambles

If I'm not mistaken there used to be banter between him and Shadowheart actually discussing him having to get used to the loss of certain vampiric abilities. 🤔

Do you think Astarion was very confused when his vampire spawn regen didn't kick in after he got tadpoled.

Game wise: I get why Larian cut it from gameplay as that would make early game Astarion literally immortal.

It's just really funny to think about from Astarion's perspective. Do you think Tav has to periodically remind him that healing potions are a thing that exists and he should use them but he forgets anyway, does something stupid, and Tav just sighs like a cat owner.

It's incredible to me how Veilguard so far sounds like it will give me everything I wanted since Inquisition what the hell Each new piece of information they release about it has me laughing in disbelief because I truly never even dared to hope they would take the story in this direction or do any of this, the prospect felt too self indulgent. I'm raising my glass to every fellow Solas enjoyer we are having a feast 😭🥂

One thing that I think is overlooked with Solas is that from his perspective, he has already killed every elf that ever lived and every elf that will ever live. That’s what it means to strip immortality from his people. Every single death is on his hands, forever.

So when the Inquisitor appeals to him with, wait, we have value, we are real, and you are going to destroy our world, the math will always come out in favor of Solas’s plan. Yes, he will destroy real people with real lives, but from his perspective, he already destroyed it long ago. If he succeeds in restoring elves, then his plan always results in less death than his inaction.
