so i’m thinking about buck and tommy’s first kiss and how i often overlook what a monumental moment that probably was for tommy. because while he might steal helicopters, fly into a hurricane, or evade the police for ex-coworkers, friends, and an ex-boyfriend - i just don’t think tommy’s normally the type of guy to take a chance and make a rather major move on a guy—let alone a guy that he doesn’t know for sure is into him, or, even into guys for that matter. so while yes, buck was sending him pretty blaring signals of “i’m attracted to you”, there was a chance in tommy’s mind that he was was misreading everything and so kissing buck in that moment was likely one of the greatest chances he took and the greatest moves he’d made for himself in a long long time. and that bit where he keeps his eyes closed and inhales after they break the kiss/part away, i’ve always thought that was tommy savouring the moment and bracing himself for potential rejection because he misread the signals of this sweet guy being into him…….anyway. just some of my disjointed thoughts.
