Zukka Lilo and Stitch au!

hey so I've recently been getting back into ptv and like... have you considered 'the sky under the sea' for divorced zukka?? and even if it doesn't fit, I just want to share the song, ESPECIALLY because of the line "so sharpen your teeth and bite as hard as you want"

omg i think it works very well for the mid divorce hook ups...the idea that they are both acting stupidly and selfishly but they can't stay away....YEP

no but like. real. as a diehard zukka shipper i have enjoyed some fanfics and fanarts (there's a person I've forgotten the name of who does some incredible animatics on tumblr) but the treatment of every love interest of both zuko and katara, especially mai and aang, and how they categorize katara as this submissive wife (more like natla katara) makes me hate the ship on principle. like i for one don't want it to be canon, mostly because i feel like they'd not do zukka right like the fans of it do, but if it pissed of zutarians, i'd be happy.

it's so fascinating that i've seen many z*taras be happy with the live action and with the characterization of katara in it when everyone else is like "hey this fucking sucks they completely ruined her character"

I LOVE THIS this is such a great idea and i agree it works great in a modern au but i think the idea of "run away with me lets get outta here we'll go anywhere etc" still fits so well with zuko's (failed) proposal in the canonverse divorce

About the AO3 "No Guest Comments for a while" warning

If you're not following any of AO3's social media accounts you might be in the dark as to what kind of "spam comments" have engendered this banner at the top of the site:

These spam comments have been posted about a great deal on the AO3 subreddit for the past couple of days. Initially they comprised a bunch of guest (logged out users) bot comments that insulted authors by suggesting they were using AI and not writing their own fics. Some examples, from the subreddit:

But it then escalated to outright graphic porn images and gifs being posted in comments, again by logged out 'Guest' accounts. Obviously, I'm not going to give examples of those, but between these two bot infestations, AO3 has clearly decided to act and has temporarily closed the ability to post comments for users who are not logged in with an AO3 account.

Unfortunately, this means that genuine readers who don't have an AO3 account won't be able to leave comments on fics that they enjoy.

If you are a genuine reader who doesn't yet have an AO3 account, I strongly suggest getting yourself on the waiting list for one. More and more AO3 authors are now locking their fics down to registered users only - either due to these bot comments or concerns about AI scraping their work - which means you're probably missing out on a lot of great stuff.

Hopefully guest commenting will be enabled again at some point soon, but I suggest not waiting until then. Get yourself on that list.

Wait times are going to be longer than usual at the moment, due to the current Wattpad purge [info on Fanlore | Wattpad subreddit thread], but if you're in line, then your invite will come through eventually.

hello, I'm currently looking for two pieces of atla fanart, and I was hoping you've seen them? The first one is based on a fanfic, I believe, and it's from some sort of hunger games-esque au? All I currently remember is Suki, Sokka, and Zuko all sleeping next to each other, with perhaps one other person? The second one is of Zuko and Sokka in a crystal cave, that's all I remember, sorry. not sure how well this could apply to zukka but... what if they weren't together together? at most, they were buddies that kiss sometimes. Sokka knew and thought Zuko did too... No. Zuko is attractive so Sokka was like "yeah, okay" while Zuko is down bad for Sokka and misunderstands. That's why they "divorce", Sokka realizes that Zuko is way more invested and doesn't want this anymore, cue huge argument and break up. (I'm Iistening to Who Said Anything by The Hoosiers, as you can tell)

the way my brain just wants this to be as evil and painful as possible.....sokka soon realizing wait he actually did have feelings he was just afraid of getting too close but now he has fucked it all up so it's too late now..........
