Afghan Women and Worker Co-operatives
Tumblr media
More than four decades of war have made Afghanistan one of the least secure countries in the world. War has not only made the country unsafe for the people, especially for women, but has also worsened the economic, educational, and political systems.
Illiteracy, insecurity, unemployment and poverty have presented people with mental and physical challenges, and have led people to robbery,…

What has 17 years of U.S. war in Afghanistan achieved?
What has 17 years of U.S. war in Afghanistan achieved?
Tumblr media
The 17 years of war in Afghanistan have not only killed many civilians. War has also turned the country into hell for the survivors.  War has destroyed almost everything in Afghanistan. As such, youth turn to drugs and…

Being aware of how easily money can control our humanity
Money is controlling humans increasingly day by day. Today, the world is facing a crisis of humanity. No one wants to lose money but they’re willing to lose their humanity.
Tumblr media
Research showed that seven people in the world possess as much wealth as half of the world’s population. Meanwhile, there are thousands and thousands of people who are starving. Think of people in Somalia, Afghanistan, Syria, Nepal and many other countries which have high percentages of poor and needy people. What is the root cause of this inequality in the world, when every human being in the world has similar body structures, feelings and needs? What is the difference between a U.S citizen and an Afghan? One is starving because of not having enough food to survive while there are people who throw a lot of food away because they have too much food. What kind of system is this? If we stand in front of a mirror and look at ourselves, we realize that we are nothing on this planet. Sometimes, I think we are just animals without tails. If we think about our behavior with one another, we realize how backward we are in our humanity. Unfortunately, we human beings created money out of wasteful paper, and made it a king that controls our lives and our behavior. Money has changed our behavior, our mindset and the way we think and live. Human beings are thirsty for money. People are trying very hard and do many things in their lives to become rich and to earn more money, but very few try to save people from starvation and sadness. Money cannot bring us happiness. Look at countries like the United States, Russia, China, the UK and many other countries. They are rich, but being rich has made them unkind. These countries do not care about other people in the world. See what they are doing to Syrians, Palestinians, Afghans and Iraqis. Powerful and rich countries like the U.S. and Russia have made life a hell for some people in other parts of the world. What is the benefit of being this kind of a rich country? We human beings are so proud that we are living on this planet. But, what have we done for our planet? Are we stopping global warming? Are we stopping wars that kill thousands and thousands of people? Why are we so proud? We do not deserve this earth. This beautiful planet needs kind, helpful and peaceful people who respect nature and who thank nature for accepting human beings as a part of them. We human beings have even forgotten our own creation. Look at a child when he or she is born into this world. Some of them are born in places where conditions are unhygienic and the water is dirty and contaminated. So, who are we and what societies have we built, that we’re so proud of ourselves? Money has changed humans into selfish creatures who think only about themselves, and not about others. The same nose, mouth, feelings and needs that we have, other humans also have. What difference is there in the worth and value of human beings? We should not forget that living without nature is impossible. Do not be so proud of money and of yourself. We will all face death and death is a must for every person and creation on this planet. Nature lasts, so we must respect nature and be good and helpful human beings rather than persons who are greedy for money and power. If we think deeply about the creation of money, money is nothing. Money is like a stone that we can easily find everywhere. I think a time will come when today’s money will become paper waste that everyone will throw away. So, what I want to say to you, who are wonderful, smart and beautiful beings, is that money changes our lives, but often not for good. Look at powerful countries like the U.S., Russia, and the UK. These countries have really turned some people’s lives into hell. Think of your own birth and creation. Think about Nature and fellow human beings. You will notice a huge difference between Nature and money. You will notice that money is nothing. Money is just paper and coins that control us and play with us as if we were toys. I believe in humanity, kindness and helping one another. These make our lives joyful, not money that will perish in a minute. Our human family needs us to help one another survive in the short lives that we have on this planet. Suppose you lived for 100 years. These 100 years are equal to 36,500 days and 2,190,000 hours, which is a very short time for living. Live life to the full. Enjoy your life and wish the same good things for other human beings because every human being has similar feelings and needs. There are no superior or inferior persons among members of the human family. Do not let money and power control you and play with you as if you were a toy, because human beings are beyond these things.

Poverty kills millions of people all around the world every single day!
“We are all equal”, a sentence which all of us are familiar with. But let’s see, Are we really equal? For over century, every single day millions of people are dying because of hunger. Children cannot go to school because they do not have enough facilities. People cannot make enough food to survive. People are becoming thief and turning to drugs every day because of not having a good wealth. People are killing themselves for not providing enough food for themselves and their family members.
Tumblr media
According to a research: more than 7.6 billion people live on this planet. 1/2 of world’s population- 3.5 billion people- live on less than $ 2.50 a day. More than 1.3 billion people live in extreme poverty- $ 1.25 a day. According to UNICEF more than 22,000 children die each day due to poverty. 805 million people worldwide don’t have enough food to eat.
Tumblr media
This is the world of inequality not equality. Be aware about your future. Do not let others to play you as a toy, reach to their goals and keeps you in hunger. We can give so many examples, which the simplest examples are the leaders of the counties. As being a human we all are the same. We need the same water which leaders need, we need the same food which the leaders need and we need the same shelter which the leaders need. There is no differences between me, you and the leader of a country. Let’s say #Enough! To the poverty.

Child Labour
Not all children in the world are lucky to enjoy their childhood. Many of them are forced to work out of their homes. Though there are laws banning child labour, still children continue to be exploited as cheap labor. It is because the authorities are unable to implement the laws meant to protect children from being engaged as labourers.
Tumblr media
Children are forced to work is completely unregulated condition without eating enough food, proper wages, and rest. They are subjected to physical, sexual and emotional abuse.
Factors such as poverty, lack of social security, the increasing gap between the rich and the poor have adversely affected children more than any other group.
Loss of jobs of parents in a slowdown, farmers’ suicide, armed conflicts and high costs of healthcare are other factors contributing to child labour. They are also employed in other industries such as mining, zari and embroidery, dhabas, tea stalls and restaurants and in homes as domestic labour.
Tumblr media
Child labour is found in rural as well as urban areas. In the world’s poorest countries, around 1 in 4 children are engaged in child labour.
Government authorities and civil society organizations need to work to free children engaged in labour under abysmal conditions. Children need to be educated and it is the government’s job to provide the best facilities and opportunity for the children all around the world.
