#pants. very understandable I think. before that it was a stick blender which honestly is also easy to explain.#honestly I think any object you can order online is easy to explain since they usually fulfill a regular human need in some way.

It's still so incredibly twisted how if a woman doesn't wear makeup or has "masculine" interests (which is a stupid concept on its own) people not only attack her and assume she only does that to appeal to men* but also act like they're being feminist for doing so.
If anyone at all should be getting called a pickme I could at least understand if it was misogynistic tradwives or something, not just women who don't fit in with gender conformists.
*A lot of men seem to actually prefer it when women wear makeup and act "feminine" actually. That's the gender role that gets enforced.
#misogyny is about less about presentation/femininity/masculinity and more about obedience I think#having too many masculine interests is bad because why are you intruding in men's spaces#but having no interest in them is also bad because what if your man wants to talk about it :/#same with sex drive / education (who's going to help the kids with homework?) / support needs / basically everything#and of course those values are constantly shifting :) just use your female intuition to figure out what's acceptable :)#to some degree I can even understand the reaction from women. it must feel incredibly unfair to see other women not follow the rules still#thriving. especially because they typically don't see the insane levels of harassment women get in “men's spaces”#which doesn't excuse the behaviour obviously. it's incredibly fucked up.

do you regularly listen to music that is not in your native language?
#prev I didn't even realise it until I saw your tags.#I was like “yeah it's like 80% Japanese these days haha”#even German artists often sing in English lmao (although that's the worst kind)

considering how the day started, it went really nice actually... everyone was in the office today and my boss spread the news about the 95% grade I got in the exam (part of my final grade, so he got an email about it) so I got lots of congratulations for both that and my birthday ✌️

I forgot to screw the lid on my water bottle after taking my meds this morning (I remember telling myself that I'd do it after washing my hands because t gel was running down my arms but then I didn't) so when I put it in my backpack and rushed to catch the train it all spilled out... I had standing water in the bag and the entire bottom is drenched and it was seeping out all over the train... and of course I didn't see the full extent until a few stations in so it took a while to get back home and change bags and I'll get to work a good half hour later than usual

behind every late diagnosed neurodivergent person is a parent who has absolutely nothing going on at all don't worry about it
#my dad is finally coming to terms with it now that more and more of my cousins on that side are getting diagnosed#on the flip side part of why I was diagnosed late is that my mom compensated a lot of my shortcomings and struggles#using techniques she learned from dealing with my dad. a lot of them are really good and I still use them but lol

#small blessings: I have flextime so I won't actually be late + my work laptop is in the office so it didn't get damaged#but man I'm already exhausted and it's not even 8am. i desperately need to fix my sleep issues (╥﹏╥)

What if water didn't have surface tension and whenever you spilled some, the whole floor of your entire apartment was covered in a 2 micrometer deep puddle

lmao. I was just wondering why it felt like it was already evening and why I was so tired even though it's only noon. and then I remembered that I didn't sleep.
#it's fiiiiiine... I'm pulling an insomniac's gambit with a “going to a pride march 2h away on the hottest day of the year so far” module#(it's genuinely fine. it's the city where my brother lives so as soon as I get there I'll have my siblings to keep an eye on me.#and until then I'm in the air-conditioned train and it's only one transfer 👍)#(also I just found out about “my fellow chicks and dicks from yokohama” and that's going to sustain me forever)
