To say Earth was a changed place would be an understatement. Across the globe, many cities that used to house millions and once grand countries now remain as battered versions of themselves, littered with remains of mighty battles and clashing armies, bones of demonic striders reaching out for the gods that abandoned their dying bodies.

For some, like Reboot Emma, they live in massive Atlantic Air fleets housing manh of the displaced, awaiting their homes to be rebuilt.

Others like Axel scavenged the graveyard of heroes across Canada and the US, moving in massive nomadic convoys and seeying what cam be sould from the remains of earth's bravest.

A few fortunate, like Caleb, still live in their old cities, now turned to massive fortresses as arrays of weapons ensured the people were kept safe, and community's begun to heal and cooperate. He still thinks he is not worthy to be a blessed, a fact that him and Carrie work together to mend, if slowly.

But even he fares better than poor Alejandro Buerrmuerto, the last of his bloodline, and possibly the last of Barcelona. At the forefront of the demonic invasion of Europe, the portal opened by his accursed family, the country fell from the Legions might. The Spaniard, forced to live with his city now nothing more than rubble and the howls of ghosts. He even just begun to repair his relationship with Jose, before he lost him.

But Alejandro will rebuild, Brick by brick, humming the tear-fueld songs of his people as he patrols. Maybe then, he could forgive himself for what his family's done.
