[Joshua x MC] A page from Jan’s recollection

A quick story inspired by that really cute cg of Keith with child Kevin in a lion onesie + talking about the BMP princes with a friend.

It’s written mostly from Jan’s perspective/focuses more on his thoughts, but the story is really about an incident between Joshua and MC (with their faithful butler Jan)… So I had trouble trying to come up with a suitable heading for it. :’D Basically, I wanted not only to explore Joshua’s interactions with MC but also what Jan sometimes have to deal with as butler… Hopefully I managed to convey that!

I just think it’s really not easy to be a royal butler. xD

Jan watched in amusement as his mistress, crown princess of Dres Van, happily dressed her one-and-a-half year old son in the onesie that Prince Wilfred had sent earlier in the day. Perhaps it was because none of the other princes had children of their own yet, but they loved to spoil the young prince rotten, often sending him books and toys and clothing. Prince Keith even tried to out-gift everyone else by proposing to buy him a car – an idea that was, thankfully, quickly shot down by the crown princess of Liberty.

“Jan! Doesn’t Caleb look simply adorable?”

She carried the giggling child over, and his eyes widened.

“My Lady, that’s-”

Before he could finish, the doors to the room burst opened; there was only one person in Dres Van who would dare enter the young prince’s bedroom without knocking first. Quickly, he dipped his head.

BMP x BMP2 Timeslip Sub Theory

I was just talking to @sylvashadow about the bmp x bmp2 crossover subs that were just released and she came up with a very interesting theory. I thought about it and it makes sense, so I’m sharing it here:

======== We know that in BMP2, Keith, Glenn, Edward and Roberto are still alive.

Wilfred, as we all know, is already dead. There’s no talk about Joshua and Yakov in their grandsons’ route.

However, if you play Sieg’s crossover sub, it is heavily implied that Joshua is already dead prior to the events of BMP2. Ivan doesn’t even recognize Yakov - who’s his grandfather - even after knowing his name. It wasn’t until much later into the story that he started to suspect that Yakov is his grandfather. He also talks about Yakov like he doesn’t really know him or has never met him before. ========

Therefore, the three princes who got the crossover subs are already dead by the time BMP2 took place.
