This movie reminded me of all the moments in my past when something was right on the verge of being said or done but no one did or said anything. That silence at that moment is perfectly captured in this film. That deep grief for futures that did not happen, relationships that did not blossom, foundations that remained empty with nothing built on top...  Also, the tension/chemistry/electricity between these actors was immaculate and palpable.  I’m going to go weep again, can’t wait to see what dreams I have tonight.

There's a word in Korean: 인연 [in yun] — it means "providence" or "fate". If two strangers walk by each other in the street, and their clothes accidentally brush, that means there have been eight thousand layers of 인연 between them.

Okay, I'm halfway through the first book in the Mistborn trilogy by Brandon Sanderson, and I have questions.
1. Where are the queer and nonbinary people? Will they show up later?
2. Is Kelsier Skaa or Nobility? I ask because it seems like those are the only two options, but he keeps referring to everyone as "they"
3. Is this a "white" savior book but not really cause no one's skin color is ever described?
4. Okay, everyone is "equal," but we are still following the binary and a patriarchal system... why?
5. The only main female character went from being a cool thief to a noble in disguise, and she's made to go to balls and apparently is now falling for a noble... why?

So I started painting to let out some frustration, anxiety, anger, stress, even some good feelings in all the mess that's 2020.
The following are some of the things I've done the past two weeks. I've gone from acrylics to watercolor, using collages, glitter, etc. Somehow watercolors help the feelings flow a bit better...
