Someone takes a picture of a very flustered spoiler trying to squeeze the water out of her cape. The second she lets go the weight of the water makes her fall ass over backwards. Black Bat ends up giving her her waterproof cape.

Signal makes mirages of sharks in the water to scare the shit out of any criminals. Oracle uploads the recordings with Benny hill as background music. Bludhaven escapes the worst of the storm and Nightwing sends pictures to the group chat patting the barely wet concrete just to rub it in. He still slips on a puddle and eats shit, Barbara sends that to the group chat.

I often think about when my uncle died back in 2022 and I slowly lost my ability to feel joy and spiraled into grief and exhaustion and my partner at the time later admitted to wanting to dump me. To this day even when I vent I try to handle stuff alone. I don't think they were wrong for being tired of a partner so racked by grief and pain, there's only so much support you can give someone.

But it changed how I saw their compassion and time with me. How I viewed my grief and how I expressed it. Instead of confiding in others, I started isolating and keeping secrets. One extreme to another.

Please don’t get pulled into an argument about usefulness, because that feeds into their baseline eugenic idea that you have to “contribute to society” to justify your existence. Nobody’s worth is tied to what they can do for the state.

Kinda wild how most people generally recognize that the "too sick to go to school, too sick to watch tv/play games" mindset our parents had was bullshit but still impose essentially the exact same rules on disabled adults and scrutinize them for enjoying low-energy hobbies while being too fatigued or in pain to work a full time job (or any job at all)

Please give me, a stranger, your medical info and explain your condition to me in detail so I know you're not faking and only then will I respect or take you seriously"
