Agere ask game,because I'm bored and wanted to do my own take on this:

ageredips culture is.... it probably constantly debating whether to finally go and buy some cuz you have grown-up money but also you live with a bunch of people so that's a huge set-back (should i go ahead and just do it is what i'm asking at this point.... help me weigh out the pros and cons of this)

i asked friends for help answering this so some of these answers are from them!

Pros:

Yay yippee diaps!!

something to look forward to on bad days cause they're comfy and nice

actually having diaps is the best way to find out if you like them or not

Cons:

You have to figure out how to dispose of them / clean them discreetly if you don't want people finding out (even if you don't use it they're still technically underwear and underwear gets dirty)

and, assuming you ARE using them, you will have to figure out how to hide the smell of a dirty diaper

and also just hiding them in general. Do you have a place to hide 2+ diapers? are you going to get a sample pack or a 10 pack? a folded up adult diaper is the size of a small book- are you going to put them in a drawer? stash them in a closet? are your housemates the kind of people to snoop around in your things?

you have adult money yes but it could be like . $50+ depending on what you get and how much shipping is so like . yknow. be prepared. getting a sample pack of 2 was like $20 bucks for me. so. thumbsup.

it will also make you waddle (if only slightly) so keep that in mind as well if you're going to be walking around in it

Depends:

The people you live with may or may not be chill with it and them finding out could be a good opportunity to teach them about agere (if they're open-minded) or could lead to you having a bad time

will you have the time and the privacy to wear them?

drugstore diapers are cheaper but worse, pretty thin and flimsy and won't be as comfy as something like northshore or abu, so don't write it off completely if you get drugstore diaps and don't like em much

diapers are Loud, (like plastic bag crinkling kinda loud) but most folks probably won't automatically assume you're wearing a diaper. (and you can put candy wrappers or a plastic bag in your pocket to show them if they ask about it. or put your keys on your belt or somethin idk)

pull ups and cloth-backed diapers are Less loud and more discreet

But also diapers may seem loud because while you are wearing you're going to be hyper aware of them. so they might not actually be as loud as you think it is so . just somethin to keep in mind

packaging may or may not be discreet depending on company- i know that ABU diaps are discreet, and have been told by two friends (that i trust) that Northshore diaps come in a very discreet, very sturdy box (less likely to get damaged). PretendAgain is not distinctly diaper but the box has markings on it (kinda sorta a logo? not enough to look anything up by, but a housemate might be more likely to ask what's in a box that isn't plain) Goodnights are extremely obvious.
