was reminded of that youtube channel that records footage of that bridge that scalps trucks today. one of the fascinating developments that's happened since i last heard about it is that, in one of their many attempts to stop the trucks from being can-opened, they installed a traffic light that detects when a vehicle that's over the allowed height is coming and turns red so the driver can stop and hopefully notice the signage all around that's screaming "YOUR VEHICLE IS OVERHEIGHT TURN AROUND" and avoid an accident. However as a result sometimes drivers see the light turning yellow and IMMEDIATELY start flooring it to avoid having to stop, ensuring that the roof of their truck just gets fucking annihilated instantly. Get to know Hashem's family

My name is Hashem from Gaza. I am 32 years old and my wife, Samar, is 27 years old. We have a child born in the eighth month of pregnancy. His mother was premature because of my wife's fear of war. My large family consists of 8 members: my father, mother, four male brothers and 2 females. My father died in the war due to a lack of medicine in hospitals as a result of the fierce war on Gaza.

My story began when we were displaced from our home in northern Gaza in mid-October 2023 after a letter threatening eviction, and then the house was targeted and destroyed. Between this Exodus and the current fifth Exodus there are many stories and sufferings.

We now live in plastic tents, which are thermal ovens, which are not suitable for living and do not provide the minimum necessities of life, in addition to the spread of epidemics and diseases, which puts our lives in danger.

Through this campaign, we are trying to collect enough money to meet our needs and get us out of the Gaza Strip safely. We ask you to stand by us and protect us from this severe danger.

PLEASE DON’T IGNORE ME!!

My four-year-old sister Soso has caught chickenpox from other children. It would be fine if her body hadn’t been weakened to the extreme by almost two years of malnutrition, sickness, poor life conditions, lack of sleep and lack of access to clean water. She’s very sick and won’t stop crying. She’s battling a high fever while baking in the intense summer heat. All I can do is fan her face with a piece of paper because we don’t even have windows to shield us.

Until now, we held on to our gold rings because they held sentimental value, but yesterday we sold them to buy medicine for her. As painful as it was to part with this last piece of our old lives, it’s not enough. She needs more medicine, she needs food, she needs clean water. I can’t bear watching her deteriorate anymore, what is her fault?!

Please help me help her. She’s only four, how is this fair? At the very least please share this post if you see it. You might not be able to donate, but someone out there can and we need to reach them. Please!!
