[ 1:19am ] jisung kicked the blankets from his body, letting out a loud huff while doing so. his mind not letting him rest, which was the only thing he wanted at that point. it was probably the only day he would be able to sleep in, yet why couldn’t he slip into dreamland?

you turn to face him, waking up after hearing his series of huffs and whines.

“can’t sleep?” you ask, scooting closer to him. he gave you a whine in response with a pout on his lips that you could faintly see from the reflection of the nightlight.

“but i think i can fall asleep faster if you come cuddle with me.” he says, pulling you closer to him. holding you close in his arms as he shuts his eyes once again. maybe all jisung really needed was just the comfort of the person he loves in his arms as his melatonin for the night.

[ 2:28am ] you didn’t know if it was the light tapping on your window or jisung blowing up your phone that woke you up first, but now you were half asleep with a giddy ray of sunshine waving his arm to call you outside. you wrapped your cardigan around you after feeling the cold air from your window.

“why are you here in the middle of the night?” you ask after being pulled closer to jisung, who wrapped his arms around you for warmth.

“the moon is really bright and big tonight,” he whispers, “and the stars are so beautiful too. they just reminded me of you so i came here. i brought a blanket, we can just lay on the grass and look at the stars.”

“you’re cheesy mister han.” you tease as you follow him to where he laid out the fuzzy blanket.

“and you love it.” he laughs, “now hurry and lay down so i can give you some cuddles.”

As soon as I step into my apartment I swear I will slump on top my bed and sleep for ten hours, you thought as you were waiting for the elevator to arrive to the lobby. Oh, but I need to do that report that’s due in two days… I guess I could manage to get a short nap in before I start. Wait, I’m kinda hungry, too…

Your thoughts were suddenly interrupted by the sound of the elevator doors opening, and you waited until everyone had gotten off before stepping in yourself.

You heard rapidly nearing footsteps and a shout of “hold the door!”, and your hand darted out to keep the elevator doors from closing right on this person’s face.

The towel you had been using to dry your hair is thrown over a chair. You peer through the peephole to find Jisung, the clothing he wore at the concert being the only thing that had changed. He was in sweatpants and a Stray Kids hoodie, wearing socks and slides, but he still had a full face of makeup on and you were sure there were remnants of hairspray that hadn’t been washed away by the sweat.

“What’s the password?”

“I miss you!”

“Incorrect.” You open the door to a pouting Jisung who almost seems to waddle into your chest.
