'Minecraft: Education Edition' It will be Released In June.
Microsoft's official Minecraft: Education Edition will launch in an early access program (kind of like how the original game did) in June. This will give educators an opportunity to play the building game that is blocky during the summer vacation, so they can evaluate how it fits into their curriculum and provide feedback. This will aid in the creation of new lesson plans. Irc101

It will be available for download for both OS X and Windows in the next few months, however the beta version will be released in May, with around 100 schools from 30 countries.
