Episode 1

Premiere on IQIYI (April 26)

Joe (PHURIPAN SAPSANGSAWAT aka POOM) is immediately set in as a stand-in. As he loses his life in a work accident as a stand-in (stuntman) and two years later he awakens with the same name. But his soul has moved to another body. Another man name Joe (TANATAT KUNANEKSIN aka WINNER)

This man has a mother who has fought tooth and nail for her son's recovery. Now Joe is a stand-in again. A stand-in son to a wonderful strong woman.

In his past he was a stand-in...now it continues. His story begins....again.

Episode 3

Two Confessions. Truth Revealed.

Natsukawa Ryota (SAKAI SHO) asked roommate and childhood friend Tanaka Kazuhito (SATO RYUGA) for a kiss. A kiss to prove a theory of sexuality and interest.

Ryota wanted to know if Kazuhito's lack of interest in the opposite sex translated to feelings for him (or men in particular)

As the request caused discomfort, Ryota back tracked claiming it was a joke. Later confessing it wasn't.

In turn Kazuhito admitted his feelings for Ryota but didn't want to force it or cause discomfort for him.

Note: 2 Likeable Guys. Alongside Perfect Propose, this BL is my favorite JBL of 2024. And isn't it interesting that both are by the makers of OLD FASHION CUPCAKE.

Episode 2

Promo posters (photo shoot) and memories of kiss in a gay bar (for research sake)

Yuki (NIIHARA TAISUKE) appears a bit rigid with co-star Asami (KOMAGINE KIITA) as promises of an encounter loom in the back of Yuki's mind.

Is Yuki ready to explore his role too much? Or is feelings for his senior from university bubbling to the surface? Will their BL Relationship become a real situationship or an actual relationship?

Episode 4

Phum (NARAVIT LERTRATKOSUM aka POND) has apologized repeatedly to Pheem (PHUWIN TANGSAKYUEN) and though Pheem seems to have accepted Phum is still feeling bad for his misdeed (just the one as he never apologized for ruining Pheem's first painting)

And the googly eyes have become quite a bit more googly.

Careful Phum, your asshole status is slowly being revoked.

ONLY BOO (2024, THAILAND)

Episode 3

Kang (DECHCHART TASILP aka SEA) worries so much for the naive Moo (SUVIJAK PIYANOPHAROJ aka KEEN) but doesn't want it to see so.

Yet it's obvious to Moo, Neth and quite possibly his mother.

As Moo has become ill from their swamp trip, Kang jumps into caretaker mode. And gives Moo a sponge bath (The Thai BL cure all) but maintains he's not worried when Moo asks.

Moo is firm. He is in pursuit of his former creditor. And he won't take no for answer not that no has crossed Kang's lips...yet.

Episode 3 (Welcome Back after Songkran)

After a week off, Only Boo returns with Moo (SUVIJAK PIYANOPHAROJ aka KEEN) fully aware of his feelings for Kang (DECHCHART TASILP aka SEA) and in full flirt mode.

Kang, however continues to care about Moo but only in a Big Bro, Little Bro way. At least that's what he's telling himself.

But in private, Kang thinks of Moo and can't help but smile.

25 JI, AKASAKA DE (2024, JAPAN)

Episode 1

Premiere on GAGAOOLALA (April 19, 2024)

Adapted From Manga Series of Same Name

Shirasaki Yuki (NIIHARA TAISUKE) a rookie actor currently in the service industry land his first acting role and it's a 2nd Lead Role.

Opposite his senior in university Hayama Asami (KOMAGINE KIITA) someone Yuki is sure won't remember him.

But he does and apparently quite fondly as his memories of his junior appear razor sharp.

Yuki has landed the role but confidence still eludes him. He wants to succeed so much so he wants to feel a connection to his character so he visits a gay bar. And when a slightly aggressive gentleman request his company for drinks, it's Asami that steps in saving him (more or less) and offering to give him the experience he wanted to get from his impromptu trip to a gay bar.

Asami then kisses Yuki..

BAM (BEAUTIFUL ASIAN MEN) meets AN APPRECIATION POST

Honoree: NIIHARA TAISUKE

Is art imitating life? Well not exactly but...

Taisuke has began a lead role in a BL called 25 JI, AKASAKA DE or AT 25:00 in AKASAKA playing SHIRASAKI YUKI.

Me personally I'm so thrilled for this young man. He has a lot of credits on his MDL page

However they are guest roles and support roles and that's definitely nothing to be ashamed of but his talent is leading man material regardless of the genre.

I watched him in support roles in 2 other BL's EIEN NO KINO (ETERNAL YESTERDAY) as well as SENPAI DANJITE KOIDEWA (SENPAI, THIS CAN'T BE LOVE) and even there his star power was apparent.

I hope all BL audiences or JBL audiences blows this up with support. I hope this is worth supporting because this actor definitely deserves it.

I am not much of a collector anymore but I use to be.

So I was always a fan of pop culture and television and music so most people would not consider these items as collectable.

Magazines- such as soap operas. I was raised by a bundle of women. My mother mainly but also looked after by grandmothers, aunts, babysitters etc. And I grew up on soap operas and this Magazine Collection grew to music and movies etc. Eventually I begin making scrapbooks because the Magazine thing was getting out of hand.

Movies- Videos (VHS) and DVD'S and BLURAY of all kinds of movies but my gay movie collection was and is epic. From BOYS IN THE BAND, BEAUTIFUL THING, TRICK, A VERY NATURAL THING, MAURICE, TORCH SONG TRILOGY, PARTING GLANCES, LONGTIME COMPANION, MAKING LOVE, MY BEAUTIFUL LAUNDRETTE, I THINK I DO, MY OWN PRIVATE IDAHO, JEFFREY, THE BIRDCAGE, LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, BUT IM A CHEERLEADER....the list is endless. I was and am a huge movie lover. I also collected movies before my time with likes of actresses like BETTE DAVIS, JOAN CRAWFORD, HUMPHREY BOGART ETC.

Vinyl: Music in this format is very rare nowadays but I loved records and albums that required a turntable to play. My collection isn't vast but I still have over 100.

Books: I was a big a reader of everything. I liked all genres but my favorite authors were 2 main ones and now they are both passed away. THE LATE GREAT JACKIE COLLINS (that woman had a great way of writing in my opinion and I still have a lot of her books) and THE LATE GREAT E. LYNN HARRIS (a black gay man who could definitely tell a story) I always hopes someone would make his works into movies or even series)

So that's it. Nothing Spectacular but that's it.

Ryota (SAKAI SHO) has a obsession with his new roommate/childhood friend Kazuhito (SATO RYUGA) romantic life or lack there of.

Going as far as to "date him" to clock his romantic issues with girls.

However with an admission that Kazuhito avoids physical contact with his ex-girlfriends, Ryota starts to believe Kazuhito may be interested in Ryota. And sets out to prove it with little success or let's say his ways are inconclusive right up until Ryota request a kiss from his roommate.

Is it possible Kazuhito is crushing on Ryota? Or is BL ready to tackle the subject of asexuality and it's variations?

As Pheem searches Phum's eyes for sincerity as he hasn't been the most trustworthy. Is this when enemies slowly fade into wary friendship before lovers...

STUDIO WABI SABI has released several statements including the release of 5 of it's actors BOUN, PREM, SANTA, SOODYACHT, SAMMY and STAMP.

However GMMTV has snatched up BOUN, PREM AND SANTA. No word if the other 3 will join GMMTV. If so SOODYACHT would be with PERTH again (the two starred in LOVE BY CHANCE and lesser sequel LOVE BY CHANCE 2: A CHANCE TO LOVE)

In other news GMMTV is taking over STUDIO WABI SABI'S VAMPIRE PROJECT starring BOUNPREM

Also GMMTV and STUDIO WABI SABI will jointly manage BOUN'S 1st CONCERT. Originally managed alone by STUDIO WABI SABI.
