                                he’s always very interested in the ongoings of their little bar, but he’s not that sure that they’ve ever had to deal with this particular predicament before. it’s a stranger ( BUT NOT ONE ) mentioned —————– that there was someone who didn’t quite fit in. you could smell southern. and this once certainly WASN’T SOUTHERN. but the lass could drink line one. he’d admit that much. it was something new. something that he’d never seen before. something he’d never seen before.      ( and was rather impressed with ). the only women he’d seen drink like that was HIS MOTHER &. THE STATESMAN women. neither of which this woman was and they were well past the number of acceptable shots if he wanted to work tomorrow.  ( well looks like whiskey was going to have to cover his ass again —————- or ginger would have to give him a fix of hangover juice ).

           “ not as good as vodka ? ” the amount of OFFENSE in his tone is strong enough that he’s pretty sure a few heads have turned. “ darlin’ you’re in KENTUCKY. y’wanna keep drinkin’ with us you better learn some respect miss. ”

     ❛ drinking with you? it seems as though i’ve drank most the men here under the table, BUT i’m willing to show some respect if someone can out drink me. ❜ her words vanished behind the glass with the 6th glass of whiskey. she was going to feel this in the morning. natasha could already tell she was getting a buzz, otherwise she would not have blatantly challenge him (indirectly) to a drinking contest. 

❛ unless no one is up for the challenge. if that’s the case, my opinion still stands. ❜ the assassin gestured for a full open and an extra glass. not only was she russian, but she had learned to hold her liquor well. you can’t get drunk with the target. leads to a sloppy kill, or worse.

❛ out drink me and i’ll change my opinion AND buy the entire stock of whiskey in here for all to drink. i think that’s fair enough and you sir, don’t look like someone to back down from a good ol’ challenge. ❜

    ❛ it’s quite difficult to find a whiskey that is enjoyable, much less one that doesn’t taste like i’ve mixed gasoline in with it. ❜ delicate hands held the fragile glass, green eyes watching the liquid whirl as she leaned it back slightly, almost as if she was inspecting it.

❛ still not as good as vodka. ❜ red lips left an imprint on the glass after she downed the whiskey in one go. she wiped the slightly smudged lipstick from the bottom of her lip, placing the glass down, gesturing for another. only the weak stopped after 5 glasses and she was pleased by the astonished looks the men gave her after each glass was drank.
