I had to set all my other ideas aside because of my current steddie-Addams fixation. I was just doing my thing and my brain was randomly like ‘how’s Eddie gonna even get out of this insane Morticia dress if there’s a row of little buttons on the back? He might need some help’, so I dropped everything and went with the help.

They could dance some silly little tango while undressing one another from the costumes, I can see it so clearly.

So… @whimsicalwadewinstonwilson came up with this insanely fun idea of steddie dressed up as Morticia and Gomez for Halloween with Max as Wednesday and Dustin as Pugsley. In case it’s hard to recognise the rest, there is Nancy as Fester, Robin as Grandmama and Jonathan as Lurch here. This was so much fun to draw, I was truly blessed with this idea. I’m so obsessed with Morticia Eddie now, it’s unhealthy. And I feel like I’m not done with this yet.

Also, I think they bought Max’s doll from Erica to decapitate it, because it was cheaper then buying a new and nice one. Erica didn’t need it anyway, but they didn’t need to know that, because free movie renting for a month doesn’t come along every day (assuming Steve and Robin still have their jobs).

Also, I think Eddie made Thing out of papier mache (with Steve trying to help by distracting him from the task) because who else could make this? He’s gonna put it proudly on the shelf in the living room after the event, or keep it on the bedside table as a ring holder. He helped the girls with sewing costumes, too, because he can sew pretty well in my headcanon. They applied makeup together and swapped nail polish.

Also, girls couldn’t decide who should be dressing as Morticia, so Eddie heroically spared them from the impossible choice (Steve’s idea, but he put it as a joke initially, secretly feeling a little hot about it). Everyone agreed it’d be fun.

And also, I NEED a fic about this Halloween 😫 it’d be EPIC. Argyle as Cousin Itt?

May I just say how well fed we are in the Steddie Fandom?

I’m sure someone has said all of this before, so i’ll just say it again.

It’s been over two years since we were introduced to Eddie Munson, only getting a handful of scenes of Eddie and Steve together - let alone interacting together - and it’s all thanks to everyone in this fandom why I am in the biggest steddie rabbit hole not looking for anyway out.

It’s beautiful how even though these characters didn’t interact nearly enough on screen, we all took one look at Eddie holding the glass to Steve’s throat and all thought the exact.same.thing.

I honestly love it here.

This fandom has me writing fanfiction again, something I haven’t done in YEARS and wasn’t planning on doing ever again really.

The goddamn chokehold steddie has on me is literally insane.

‘Ouch!’ Eddie jolts suddenly and sucks his index finger into his mouth. In a moment Steve is on his way to the bathroom.

‘No no no, not another bloody vest in this house!’ he exclaims.

‘Didn’t think you’d be afraid of a little blood so much,’ Eddie marvels around his finger.

Steve emerges from the bathroom with a first aid kit and unimpressed look on his face.

‘Really, Stevie, it’s just a little sting,’ Eddie’s voice is soft. ‘There isn’t actually blood there.’

‘You sure you don’t need a bandaid?’

‘I’m sure baby, don’t fuss,’ Eddie sighs. ‘You can just blow on it and say it’s gonna be fine. Or just… blow, you know,’ he smiles toothily.

‘Really Eddie? It’s been an hour,’ Steve mutters, incredulous.

Eddie just bats his lashes. God, Steve loves this dork.

‘Give me your finger, it’s gonna be fine.’

I’m currently painting a wall in my apartment and I was bored and I was just thinking. If there would be some renovation in the Byers house, the whole chosen family trope would be happening there as everyone would be so eager to help. And Eddie would totally paint some shit like ‘S+E’ on the wall. And Joyce would be like ‘Oh sweetheart, I’m afraid we can’t keep it’ and Eddie would be all bashful smiling while Steve blushing hysterically.
