Hello everyone, I've already made my mind about this and mourned enough when she disappeared one evening so don't worry about me.

My cat Minette, who's been with me since my childhood, got a renal infection that's been getting worse these past few weeks. She only has 1-2 weeks estimated left, but we don't think she'll last a few more days. She can't eat or drink well, her back legs have started to drop, and now she's got stuff that make her bleed from her mouth.

I don't want to see her get any worse, or suffer the same fate my dog had (we didn't want to euthanize her, but she ended up not able to move at all and died in the living room in pain); so i'm raising money to put her down, as the trip to the vet to determine what caused this cost us already.

We're planning to go to the vet either monday or during the week if she lasts, as soon as we have the funds. Any amount help.

I also have commissions open, as a quicker way to raise money and give something back in exchange for the help.

She's lived a long life, 15 years of love around us. I wanna return the favor to her by not making her suffer anymore.

HELLO AND WELCOME TO THE DANGEROUS STRING TOURNEY!

I've set up this tournament to celebrate a type of character that I've always loved from when I was a little, and that's characters that fight with or regularly use different and dangerous types of string for mobility or other reasons!

For the sake of clarity, the things that are considered a dangerous string are

String

Rope

Wire (smooth, barbed etc)

Chain

Whip

Hair (at the mercy of my discretion)

String like energy constructs (also at my discretion)

other things that heavily involve string such as Yo-yos (Bows will NOT be accepted, the string does not play a big enough part I'm sorry)

Other Rules

Multiple characters can be submitted if they all use dangerous strings and work closely as a unit.

Feel free to submit an image of your submission either via upload or link (preferably transparent and / or with the character utilising their dangerous string)

You can submit as many characters as you want, but only one character/ group at a time please

If I get a lot of submissions for the same character I'll add them to this post so people know they don't need to submit them again

Submissions will be open until the 23rd of May

congratulations to our winners of the 2023 cat fight!

the grand champion title of "the meow meow of all time" goes to Jellie (GoodTimesWithScar)! congratulations to all jellie supporters out there, you guys campaigned so hard for her when we had never heard of her before this tournament!

second place goes to Nyan Cat! seems like old internet nostalgia wasn't enough to carry him through to victory, but he did his best sweeping the competition most of the way through!

and finally, third place goes to Cat (Stray)! a relative newcomer to the scene, yet trumped two classics (salem and the cat from coraline) in the third place poll! apparently being a silly little kitty you get to play a game as was enough to sway the votes :)

hopefully losers bracket polls will be posted starting tomorrow, but they will not be as comprehensive as the original polls (i will only be putting name [where they're from] for each one and there will not be pictures). the winner of the losers bracket will go up against jellie in one final match! -mod orange

The Turtle Tourney

It's time for yet another tumblr tournament! This will be about your favorite fictional turtles! Any turtles, tortoises, or terrapins are welcome.

The size of the bracket will be decided based on the number of submissions I get. Submissions are tentatively closed on May 15th. Propaganda is encouraged!
