I really liked the Grévy zebra from the Africa hall at the museum in Bern, he had such a sweet face. The zebra and the eland antelope were made sometime between 1944 and 1947 and they have some age-related damage (like the cracks in the zebra's skin on the flank and neck), but they still look very good!

This is the third time in the past few years I've had to deal with white people's inferiority complexes when I had the audacity to be black in a predominantly white space.

First, the "your art is cliché" anon, then my taxidermy teacher, now Dog. Does anyone else wanna try and crush my dreams? The more pressure you put on me, the more diamonds I pump out.

DogBlud always used to say "it's a small pond" referring to when she tried to steal June (a tactic that's part of her kink and pattern of abuse when it comes to not seeing people of color as well...people).

Too bad for her that in this "small pond" I was the bigger fish.

DogBlud's goal was to either make me an art slave like Ependa, pumping out art of HER characters non-stop for validation, or to simply "take me out" by ruining my self-esteem and confidence in my project. That's her pattern with the people she's collaborated with over the years.

Too bad I'm gonna draw so much more now because her white ass pissed me off. If for no other reason, I wanna get Strawberry Moon published because it will make her angry to see June for the rest of her life, because she actively tried to silence my voice and the story I wrote as a love letter to black women.
