Madam Red lies in a bed of white lilies, used consistently in line with death in the series. While Yana Toboso has said in the past that she primarily uses the hanakotoba for flower meanings in Black Butler, the reason for their use in these circumstances does have its roots in Victorian floriography, where it was used to communicate sympathy in times of sorrow. It also has both spiritual and religious significance:

It's rather touching that Lizzie came to pay her respects to Madam Red, still considering the woman as her aunt when they actually have no blood relation. They clearly created a close bond during the times that Lizzie visited the Phantomhives in years past.

I wonder if any of the other Midfords were also present, or if it was only Elizabeth who chose to attend.

We see that Ciel enters the church without Sebastian. I'm sure there has been alot of talk about Sebastian's potential inability to set foot into the holy grounds of the church, but this is proven wrong by much else in the series.

For starters, the land of the graveyard attached to the church - in which we do later see him standing - would also have been consecrated and named sacred to allow for Christian burials. Secondly, Sebastian himself will receive his own burial later - presumably following a proper ceremony, and also in land considered sacred. And lastly, we will see Sebastian doning the cassock and rosary of a priest throughout his residency at Weston College, entering the school's own Catholic chapel and sitting within the confessional, all unhindered.

It is more likely that- similarly to his not entering during Ciel's ceremony when he was named as Earl Phantomhive - that he simply feels that it is not his place, or indeed that the has been instructed not to as he oversees the preparations for the rose petals. This could have been an early moment of Ciel displaying his strength in front of the demon, directly refusing his offer of (probably sarcastically offered) comfort and reassurance on this occasion, chosing instead to enter on his own, without the demon's support.

I would be interested to know who it is that was responsible for Angelina's funeral plans that Ciel feels were done in such poor representation of her character.

Was it a surviving member of either her own, or her husband's, family? Did the Midfords take a hand in it, with Frances still recognising her as part of her remaining family, just as her daughter does? Did Ciel make the arrangements himself, but then come to regret the decision to have her dressed so plainly as the day arrived?

There is much shock and heartfelt sympathy amongst those in the church at Ciel's display, but Sebastian merely looks on, expressionless - though I do not believe that it is merely down to him lacking in understanding of human grief.

The act if mourning and held with it a great deal of social etiquette for the Victorians, and all family members affected would be expected to act accordingly so as to show it. To make such a public display would be in itself a message to everyone present, speaking greatly of the young Earl's current state of grief at the loss of yet another family member, and would reflect well on him for doing so much to honor her passing - something that both he and the devil are likely fully aware of.

Perhaps Sebastian feels that Ciel's actions are not entirely sincere. Or, perhaps he feels that his master’s actions are somewhat misplaced.

This could be due to the fact that Angelina herself had meant to kill Ciel before meeting her own end, and so he believes that Ciel should not extend her the curtesy of such affection. It could also be because - having witnessed Madam Red's Cinematic Record - he knows that the act of draping the woman in red is in itself a false show of understanding, serving to cater to the boy’s own memory of his aunt more than to the woman herself.

Ciel, as mentioned previously, was likely unable to see the Record, and so does not know the pain that 'red' caused to Angelina. She may well have preferred to leave it behind, purified by the white lilies, as she entered the next life.

it doesn't quite look like a holiday party from here, but what I imagined as a humble little piece is~~ Ciel and Lizzy sneak away from the big bustling midford Christmas party and raid the kitchen desserts, like they did when they were kids(it was Lizzy's idea, Ciel clearly hasn't been himself since he returned, and she wanted to bring him back).
