Hey gang. I don’t talk about this too much here beyond “I was laid off and it sucks,” but I was laid off from my job last year, and it was my wife and I’s primary income. My former company forced us to move to the Bay Area, California, which is one of the most expensive places in the world to live (we decidedly don’t have money to move anywhere else right now.) We are very broke, and while I’ve had a good number of interviews and leads, I still have not been able to find a job. My parents help where they can, but they don’t have a lot.

So, I’m very sorry to ask, but we could really use some help. Ideally I’d love to raise about $2k, which would handle bills and food for like a month and a half, which would give me more time to get a job. But literally any amount would be helpful and go a long way to easing our situation.
