People are so egregious online lol.

Maybe invisible ink, but I saw a video on the clock app where someone was describing the relationship between Mickey & Ian on Shameless, with all its violence and disfunction. Someone in the comments was like "Is this a good show to watch? I've tried to watch it, but I can't get past all the sex."

And I was like "You listened to this video about domestic violence and sex is where you draw the line?" And they were like "Well, everyone has their own trauma."

Like... baby cakes...

This is Shameless! Shameless!

And also, it's very weird to be okay with a man beating the crap out of his boyfriend, but not okay with characters having consensual sex. Granted, there is also sexual violence on the show. But like... if you have trauma, why would you even attempt to watch Shameless? Everything you could possibly be triggered by happens. Drug abuse. Alcohol abuse. Violence. Child abuse. Child neglect. Racial discrimination. Extreme poverty. Marital abuse. Financial abuse. Various forms of sexual abuse. Underage sex, drinking, drug use, criminal activity. And so much more. If you are triggered by something, it is probably in that show.

Also? Like, a lot of us have trauma. It's so weird to be like "I want to watch the extreme domestic violence, but God forbid that same couple fuck."

Like, this is a very "bean soup" thing, to me. Obviously the show isn't for you. Why even comment?

(I could see if it was something like Bridgerton, where the story is nice and relatively pleasant, and you just didn't want to watch the sex scenes. But SHAMELESS? What the hell did you think the name meant?!)
