Skateboarding And the arrival of the skateboard have existed since the 1920's: where it all started. Skateboarding was slow to start; however, when it did, it spread like wild flowers. During the time span of 1920's to 2012 that the skateboarding industry, and it has made comebacks. Every time the business came back, it turned into more intense. Now it is time for the new generation to enter.

1920's. Between the 1920's and 1930's created was a three wheeled metal apparatus.  From the 1940's, the first four wheeled aluminum shredder were created. In the 1950's skaters were placing the trucks and wheels on a plank of wood: home made. From the 1960's was the introduction of the first manufactured skateboard.  Southern California's surf shop; Val Surf, started making its own complete skateboards: the earliest known retail store to sell skateboards. Kids started talking to skating as "sidewalk surfing." The sidewalk surfing affected everything from maneuvers and fashion to style and attitude. The age really kicked off. Skateboarding becomes wide spread and very popular: firms struggle to keep up with the demand.  During the 60's the first known organized competition, sponsored by Makaha, was held in Hermosa, California.  The first pro model skateboard ever produced (Makaha) was the fibreflex: initial laminated board made for skaters. In this period Anaheim, California had the first skateboard shoe factory and the first known Skate Park.  There was also a trend in Montreal, Quebec. Though skateboarding was quite popular all over, many people didn't like it and was attempting to ban it.

Two decades later, Road Rider skateboard wheels came out with their first skateboarding wheels which used precision bearings; which was the end of the Cadillac Wheels. Many more skateboard hardware has been made: Gull Wing Trucks, Stoker Trucks (such as downhill skating), and Tunnel solutions. The first safety equipment was created, unique for skateboarders. There were also a couple of skateboard companies that climbed: Sims Skateboards and Dogtown Skates. Skateboard teams started to form: Zephyr Skateboard Team - Santa Monica, California, and Institutions associated with skateboarding started to form as well: U.S. Skateboard Association (USSA), and World Skateboard Association (WSA). The formation of associations and teams had the thought it would bring skaters with each other, and they were perfect. Throughout the 1980's a few more skateboarding magazines had grown: Thrasher and Trans-World Skateboarding. Even the industry of clothes for skateboarders had emerged: Vision Street Wear. Skateboard tricks had become highly technical and harder which makes it tougher for the novice to do.

At The start of 1990; the whole skateboard industry was deeply Influenced by a world-wide downturn.  In street skating and the companies started to re-evaluate the business. From mid-90's, skateboarding had re-emerged.  This game began to gain a Wonderful deal of vulnerability at the "Extreme Games" and now called the X-Games. The old school skaters re-surfaced and skateboarding stays a street-orientated style. 2000 had lots of effect of media coverage. It Has moved for an underground game to a more mainstream spectator sport. From the year 2004, there's been over 2000 skate parks built. 2010 Had World Speed Records for downhill boarding clocked at rates up to Almost 81 mph in comparison with the rate of 6.6 mph from the 1920's. 2011 in Southern California, were skateboarding was born, had prohibited downhill Boarding for this, it put skateboarding in peril in that region. This sport has not made it to the Olympics as of yet, maybe it will
