but nothing done at a protest can truly be a victory. I know you want to feel like that, but all that feeling is doing in most people's breasts is making them attach heroics to the actions of brave and outraged people that should be PROTECTED AND NOT PEDESTALIZED.

What you need to get is that every fuck you to the system is happening bc the system has already maimed, killed and tortured millions of us.

That is tragic and doesn't stop being tragic even when we hit a point back on them. The tragedy has already occurred. Not just in the implementation of said system, but in the reality that we as a people are fractured, self cannibalizing-- the tragedy is having an enemy in the first place.

Nothing you do can undo that.

Every battle won is simply the start of grief.

If you don't understand this, you get way too quick to want to elevate getting a singular lick back during a singular protest and getting egoic with it- which individual, take their photo, make them a hero...when all that does is get them traced, tracked, killed.

The fact that they had to fight back at all is tragic. The fact that their own allied onlookers could be the reason they disappear is even moreso.
