Run away To Traffic: Chapter 2
Not really knowing wether it was still the same night or the day, week had passed, Bambiana got up from the floor of the tub and washed herself while sobbing out loud. No one heard her cries. And if they were heard, no one bothered to check if she was ok. No one cares, she realized. How can they if they left her the way they did, and her body...... . “Oh GOD, what happened to my body?”, she whispered in a shaky crying voice, as she clutched her body dropping back down to her knees. As she was sobbing, a now becoming, familiar darkness suddenly hit her. She found herself on the same strange bed as she did the night or day before as she came to. Or was this terrifying nightmare happening all in the same night? Bambie thought. Covering herself with the sheet on the bed with fear of even getting off the bed, she inspected the room. She spotted the driver of the car that took her, and his friend the front seat passenger, and again those guns from the movies. Are they real? Are they going to use it? Do they use it? What for?. She turned back to the driver her eyes noticing something in him she didn’t see when they first met. Something terrifyingly sinister. Bambie immediately turned her stare away from him and toward his friend who was either cleaning or inspecting what seemed like a smaller silver version of the long guns on a desk, quickly looking away, she went back to scanning this strange room. And there it was. A way out. Now the only thing is to wait if and when she’ll be left alone to get on the computer and send for help. After having scanned the room, which was no bigger than her kitchen back home, she looked back to the driver and asked where she was who in turn replied, “Don’t worry about it”, as he approached her. Scared Bambie scooted away to the other side only to be met by the driver’s friend. They disgustingly grabbed at her and began tearing down her innocence, at least whatever was left. She closed her eyes, helpless to what was happening, afraid that the smallest fight she put up would end with those “movie guns” being used on her, and from what she saw in the movies death usually followed the person that came face to steel with those things, Bambie let her mind drift off to a place of nothingness wanting, even begging for another sudden blackout. Waking up finally to see a morning day, she looked to her left and saw the driver, dressed and looking for something. There was his friend, “come on”, he said as he walked out the door. Thinking he was addressing her, Bambie quickly got off the bed, put on her school uniform, blue pants, blue polo shirt, hopeful that today she’d finally go home. As the driver and his friend walked out the bedroom door toward the main door of the apartment, they turned around to see Bambie behind them. As the main door opened, the driver said, “where you goin’? you’re staying”. “What time are you coming back?”, an unfamiliar female voice questioned. “Don’t worry about it, we’ll be back just watch her.” The woman said something but Bambie was too focused on the fact that there was another female in this dark place. As the door slammed shut, the woman went into the kitch, not saying a word to Bambie. Bambiana, deciding to find out later on wether the woman was friend or foe, hurriedly walked back to the room as she remembered the computer she’d spotted the day ,or week maybe, before. Sitting in front of the computer she smiled for the first time in what seemed forever, she logged on to her myspace and sent a message to her friend Bibi from school.
“Hey Bibi please send me a message when or if you’re online. It’s important.” Thankfully Bibi was online and quickly responded, “omg Ana where are you? Are you ok? Your dad came to school looking for you.” Bambie panicked when she saw the mention of her father. What would he think of her if he found out what they did to her body? Oh no, he must be pretty fuckin pissed, I didn’t go home. Bambie thought to herself. “I’m ok, what day is it?” She reaponded, “don’t tell my dad I talked to you, I’m going home right now.” As Bibi sent a reply, the woman entered the room and saw Bambie on the computer, she walked around looking for something, and walked right back out. Friend or foe, is it ok that she saw me using the computer?, am I going to get in trouble?, these thoughts suddenly popped in Bambie’s mind. Returning her attention back to her friend’s message response, Bambie replied, “I will text you l8tr.” And logged out of her account and off the computer. The room door suddenly opened and that was all Bambie remembered.
Waking up once again crouched down on her knees in the cold tub, this time with water running, whatever was in her stomach was being washed away from under, and on her, Bambie shut her eyes and started crying silently, afraid to be heard. She now knew what the woman’s identity was....foe. Images of her baby sister dorie, her little brother Obie, baby brother Joey, and mommy popped in her mind. I miss them so much, she bawled. Darkness came.
As she was coming to, Bambie noticed something...strange. But then again this whole shituation is strange.
Wait.....how did I get in front of the mirror, when did I get up?. Then a knock on the door, and there stood a line of 5 men grinning and murmering to each other. ........or was it 7. “Please let this be a hallucination” Bambie, teary eyed and horrified, heard her heart cry out. As the first in line snakily slid behind her to violate her young already broken body, she thought to herself, at least close the door....please...as the stinging tears streamed down her eyes, Bambie closed her eyes as darkness came creeping in around her. This time, without hesitation, as she felt herself slipping away from the disgusting, snickering young men, from reality, she welcomed it....

Run away to Traffick Chapter 1
“The stop is coming up, I should hurry and make my mind up on wether or not I am gonna go home.” The girl who called herself Bambie thought to herself as the train from school neared the stop for her train transfer back home. She didn’t realize that her mind was already set even before school let out. What was so good about school anyways, most girls were talking about behind her back and some didn’t even care if she was in the room. They all made fun of the way she smelled, but no one can come to her as a genuine caring person. Her name was Jen. The way she did it though, although coming from a good place, her words were a bit too harsh for the girl that called herself Bambiana. If only Jen had come to her with kinder words, she would have known that it wasn’t her clothes that needed to be washed, nor was perfume and lotion an issue. Bambian might have, just might’ve confided in Jen about how being this new big school scared her so much that she couldn’t help but wear her best friend FiFi’s gift given shoes that had become her favorite shoes. She missed FiFi and hated having to go through school alone, no one to talk about how her dad....shit missed home 8 stops ago.
Walking to Louis’ house was very nonchalant as the girl who called herself Bambiana had walked the same path every week sinfe meeting him. Louis was her boyfriend she’d met at her local library. He was 28, she 14, but 18 to his knowledge. Bambiana whose body, like a lot of teen girls who ate nothing but cooked food from home, did not look like one of her own age although her face was like that of a 10 year old’s. Finally arriving to Louis’ apartment in harlem, a place where Bambiana saw as safe, safe from....well safe from home. From loneliness. From the dark. She walked in usin the extra key Louis had left her, she made herself comfortable not really knowing what she was doing or going to do. She falls asleep on the bed in the studio apartment waiting for Louis to come back. Night time falls and he’s back, he too smells the the funny smell coming from her and talks to her as a loving father would his child, or a loving boyfriend to his girlfriend but let’s face it Bambiana was looking at him through a child’s eyes, one desperately seeking her father’s love. He took her gently by the hand towards the bathroom and showed her, yes showed her how to wash herself the way a woman should. Grateful, and honestly quite a bit embarrassed Bambie, as she liked to be called for short, thanked Louis appreciatively for handling her with care and not shaming her. After her shower she repaid Louis for his kindness and love the only way she could and thought she should in order for him to keep loving her.
After laying with Louis, she thought about wether or not she should head back home, it was pretty damn late and her dad would be very upset cause it seemed she didn’t learn from the other beatings that a girl her age should not spend nights and days outside of home. Not to mention her judmental, never satisfied with Bambie, tattletale big sister Jess would be there. Bambie got out of the bed, put her school uniform back on grabbed her bag and walked out the door. Outside Ana didn’t really know how she was going to get home being that it was a couple hours past 12 am. But she couldn’t go back to Louis they just broke up and pride would not allow her to. Besides she promised her baby sister Dorie and mother to come back home. So she would just get a cab home. Suddenly, like as soon as she had finished the thought of the promise made to her baby sister and mom, a car pulled up to the curb right in front of her. The driver rolled down his window and asked her how old she was. “14”, replied Bambie, the man asked “ what’s a young girl doing outside alone at night?, it’s dangerous.” Bambie replied “I’m just trying to get home my dad is going to be very mad but I need to get home.” The man proposed to get home and said, “I’ll make sure you get there safe so get in.” Bambie, again looking at her father’s face instead of danger, gullibly got in innocently thinking that she was on her way back home safer from the dark streets of harlem. During the drive to, they stopped at a store, the driver offered Bambie some iced tea, and again, she innocently accepted not even questioning why on earth was the iced tea inside a styrofoam cup. Oh well, maybe that’s how they do it in the ghetto. Besides the other man in the passenger seat wouldn’t shut up about her not drinking something that was paid for out of the kindness of the driver for her. So she took a few sips not even half the drink, only to awaken cold and naked on a strange bed, in a strange house. Once she came to she noticed the driver, the passenger and a few long guns she’d seen only in the movies on TV. “Where am I? , can I go home please?” Those were the last words Bambiana heard herself or anyone say until waking up in her own vomit in an unfamiliar tub, cold, naked and alone, the next day, or whenever.
