         solitary soul

you  have  acquired  the  solitary  soul.  while  everyone  belonged  everywhere  and  to  someone  else,  you  did  not.  you  belong  nowhere.  you  belong  to  nobody.  the  only  thing  ever  coming  close  is  the  way  you  haunt  yourself.  those  pinprick  whispers  telling  you  that  you're  filthy.  unloved.  alone.  you've  gotten  real  crafty  at  how  you  can  ignore  it.  but  when  you  listen  really  close  to  that  faint  whisper  you  realise  that  it's  not  your  voice.  it's  somebody  else's.  is  it  your  father  or  some  sort  of  sick  joke.  regardless  a  dog  is  a  dog.  and  a  father  will  be  a  father  until  you  take  your  very  last  breath.  you  learned  to  wield  a  weapon  before  you  learnt  how  to  lick  your  own  wounds.  and  you  wouldn't  want  to  anyway.  but  a  life  lived  lonely  is  not  one  even  at  all.  and  maybe  it's  not  your  fault.  it  definitely  isn't.  but  two  lonely  people  don't  make  company.  its  just  two  lonely  people  together.  to  be  teared  apart  is  the  cruel  gift  of  loneliness.  you  do  not  have  to  live  your  life  in  solitary.  you  will  find  companions.  you  will  let  go  of  that  ghost.  you  will  feel  your  heart  beating  in  your  chest  again.  (i  love  you)  you  share  a  soul  type  with  levi.

finally got to watch blue eye samurai and the way the enemies were cut down is exactly how i imagined vance doing it. it's very graphic and gory but he can and will do it if it's needed. a sharp blade + his inhuman strength, not a pretty combo to be fighting against. heads will roll, limbs will fly around, blood will splash everywhere. and if for some reason that's not the case, then bones will break.

the  shinigami  stopped  in  his  tracks,  first  turning  his  head  to  the  side  then  moving  his  gaze  downward.  what  a  sight.  he  had  walked  among  humans  for  centuries  now,  crossed  paths  with  all  types  of  supernatural  beings,  yet  he  had  never  seen  something  so...  fascinating?  not  talking  about  the  injury  of  course.  his  expression  remained  calm  upon  seeing  it,  almost  uncanningly  calm  considering  the  rather  graphic  sight.  blue  bones  and  pink  blood.  though  the  cherry  on  top  was  definitely  the  fact  that  the  death  spirit  couldn't  determine  the  other's  lifespan.  how  was  she  alive?  what  was  she? 

while  he  stood  there  observing  and  pondering  the  stranger  who  was  clearly  in  need  of  help,  daichi's  ghost  spoke  to  him.  ‹unbelievable.›  a  ghostly  growl  echoed  in  his  mind.  ‹mannerless  brat.  quit  staring  and  help  this  person.›  at  once  yoru  felt  a  cold  shiver  run  through  his  body.  "sorry."  the  apology  was  aimed  at  both  the  stranger  and  daichi.  he  then  scratched  the  back  of  his  head  bashfully,  almost  like  he  just  realized  what  he  did.  "so  ...  who  told  you  to  'break  a  leg'  ...  ?"  a  smirk  flashed  across  his  face  before  he  kneeled  down  to  her  level.  "just  kidding.  i  assume  you  need  more  than  just  a  normal  hospital,  non-human?"

a warped sense of pain could either caused a person to be more cautious of their wellbeing ━ or completely reckless & dolls often fell into the latter category. sailor was no exception. poor judgement & even worse landing from a much too high fall resulted in a snapped fibula. there was no scream in agony , no tears were shed , just a sigh as sailor sat up to examine the damage done. pale blue bone of their fibula jutted out from ripped skin , leaking an unnatural pink that shimmered in the lowlight of the alley. that was the most obvious of injuries ━ dislocated shoulder , broken ribs , snapped wrist , all were minor inconveniences but her leg ━ she couldn't walk home with her leg in it's state. sailor barked a 'hey' at a passerby on the sidewalk , hoping to snag someone's attention that will be willing to help since her phone was just as shattered as her clavicle.
