personally it’s not just a matter of what rentries , carrds , et cetera actually contain—it’s a matter of k9 triggering the paranoia of countless people to the point where it could induce severe stress , panic , & even delusions, because many mentally ill people, including those with little to no access to treatment , occupy k9’s server & he knows this. you could keep all of your information as close to your chest as possible & still be paranoid out of your mind about people hunting through your shit trying to find something they deem wrong or unacceptable. he is endangering the mental health of his server members.

& then there are those of us who have, in the past, been “called out” &/or have hurt people , & are growing from or already have grown from it; it is terrifying to think that people will find out about these things we have done & dredge it up like it’s something we did yesterday. it’s extremely detrimental to one’s health.

this will not teach anybody a “lesson” about what information they share , it will get them in a state of panic over literally nothing. it’s honestly disheartening to see people be so callous about how severe paranoia can be. please have some compassion for those who struggle differently than you. we deserve safety , accommodations , & respect of our boundaries just as much as anyone else — & our mental illness should not have to bar us from internet spaces , either.

but… it’s a painfully consistent occurrence that nobody seems to realize paranoid delusions even exist , so i can’t even fault anyone for their ignorance. though it’s still exhausting nonetheless.

why is k9 making people do something that is their mods job?? hello?? its YOUR guys job to make sure people who break your rules are not allowed in. you should be checking rentrys and carrds and shit on your own to make sure the user is okay, not make it the job of your server members.

also a victim of cyberstalking; this is unacceptable. aside from that announcement, k9 had to have had someone(s) intentionally in Freddy’s server feeding him information, including who was in the server and screenshots—he was full-on engaging in and thus promoting cyberstalking, yet claims he doesn’t want his server members doing so, just to scrounge about for anything fishy as if that isn’t also creepy as hell. that is not fucking okay.

i have 0 sympathy for k9 anymore honestly. he almost definitely knows his server is a fucking echo chamber because everyone with even a slightly different opinion has to go, and he keeps lying. this is genuinely sickening. he’s not only making his server an unsafe space, but Freddy’s.

as a victim i’m so, so angry that he’s just normalizing this shit. several of my more persistent delusions are a result of being cyberstalked. this shit destroys people’s mental health and sense of safety. if he wants to call Freddy an abuser, he has to address his own disgusting behavior.

Regarding k9 saying to spy on people, I understand it, but also.. It just seems odd? Like why would you tell your server members to spy on people?

Sure, if members happen to come across things that are fishy and against server rules and report it, then that's different

But openly telling your server to spy on people seems so strange to me, if you need people to check that your members aren't against your rules then leave that job to yourself and your server staff

I assume k9 meant "hey if you see anything fishy then report to us because we can't always catch it, here's examples of what you can check" but overall the way k9 said it isn't good. It 100% could have been more of a "hey, if you notice anything fishy, please tell us so we can handle it!"

As well as that said, as someone who was a victim of being cyber stalked by an ex friend on discord, that shit is so paranoia inducing. I'm still iffy regarding Freddy, but I would never wish for anyone to suffer with that sense of paranoia and fear that we once had
