What’s the note on the top of the annotated script? “Be careful it is one of a kind”?
I love how they showed Armand’s notes in the margins of plays all season and then it paid off in this

Is Louis’ decor all yellow to match Claudia’s dress?
This is the vampire Louis Du Lac. I live in the penthouse apartment of the Al Sharaf Towers in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The security staff here is robust but mortal. My front door is always unlocked, as are the windows to my balcony, which were designed with a protective film coating for those of us "sun-challenged". So for all you cowards out there talking shit, talking about taking a run at me, hear this now and hear it plain. I own the night.

Louis and Armand it is pathetic on both your parts if you’re together to spite Lestat

I’m glad Daniel is not believing a second of this nonsense. Why the heck would Armand stay there demoted?
This is heartbreaking

Note
At least he’s admitting it’s a bestseller (Daniel will not appreciate this point)
Daniel's book being called a trashy bestseller has me rolling.
Not gonna lie I’m excited for more Daniel.
His facial expressions are everything.

Other 1x02 rewatch questions:
- Why does Lestat say “I see you have a banjo band” to Louis’ mom?
- Louis is very comfortable telling his sister she’s pregnant with twins - I guess it works out because she takes it in stride but how was he planning to explain how he knew that?

Rewatching 1x02 and Louise seriously has a thing for men in uniform. I think Lestat was right for his proposal post Jacob, especially since Armand and Louis did it later on!

Can someone explain Louis and Armand’s art choices to me?
Changing the art involves changing the couch? What is the Javelina thing?
Does “wait for relevation to enter the room” mean wait for Lestat to break through that wall?

I love how Daniel has the define the relationship talk for each of Louis’ partners - sometimes he refers to them as Louis’ love, his husband, his boyfriend. And the best part is neither Louis or Armand ever correct him.
Someone tell Daniel about Dreamstat wearing a wedding ring

Episode 7 rewatch thoughts
- Lestat had to come up with his own opening quips? And then Santiago quickly trying to course correct
- Love Daniel’s “sold you out” and “best seat in the house”. At least someone here is sane
- “star spangled shores” with the salute (at an audience with plenty of Americans) is funny, I’ll give Santiago that
- They put so much work into the music and background. Armand didn’t notice anyone slacking off?
- Tracking times Lestat breaks free:
intro
I didn’t point
“Louis didn’t take to vampirism”
“I broke the second law too”
“I’m burdened with my makers temper”
Claudias final request
- Armand squinting in the corner - I dont see a guard right now
- Did they put a fancy chair up there bc Lestat couldn’t stand for that long?
- Are they straight up reminiscing about their wedding now?
- I think the comment that Louis had a skill with insults is probably true
- Claudia blames Lestat a lot for her being a vampire. She asks Louis if it was true and he said no, but the real story changes “blame”. Even if its not word for word Louis said Lestat told him why both legally and psychologically it was a bad idea. And he tells Daniel to put Lestat’s version in the book and apologizes to him - he doesn’t want to be lying to Daniel.
- I can’t stand Armand saying all these comments trying to editorialize
- Lestat has his back to the audience for a lot of this play. Or at least the parts where he means it more - once Armand gets him back on track he never turns back
- DREAMSTAT!!
- Louis do you really think he crossed an ocean to want you dead?
- that seems like a pretty small portion of blood for lunch, doesn’t it? Also where is Daniel’s lunch?
- What is Madeline guilty of?
- Louis looks so confused when he’s not being sentenced to death
- Why did Santiago become okay with the banishment sentence? I guess because he came up with this idea.

It was Diyoza who told her. “Your brother is the ambassador. Everyone else is injured or has family who is. In fact, the only person available to guard him his Echo.” She left out the thoughts that raced through Octavia’s head - going down to a planet without a proper guard, who sanctioned this, who would Bellamy encounter.
They stood awkwardly in the antechamber, alone with the other guards as Bellamy entered the negotiation room. No weapons or soldiers there. Sister and . . . lover. And by all miracles, they actually talked. By the end the spy couldn’t trust Blodreina, and Blodreina couldn’t trust the spy either but at least they had a common goal: protect Bellamy.
Her brother had made headway though and there was a plan. A few would enter at a time, as determined by the council. The council. Clarke, Indra, Diyoza, Raven, and somehow Octavia herself. Her brother had been kind to her, respected her authority, but she missed actually being friends with them.
Their plan was quickly ruined as Diyoza went into labor. She had been meant to remain on the ship a while, to keep an eye on all her former prisoners.
They broke off into little groups, moving into the most modern living quarters Octavia had ever seen. Places like this must have existed on the Ark - not that the girl under the floor would know.
