Male writers writing female characters:
“Cassandra woke up to the rays of the sun streaming through the slats on her blinds, cascading over her naked chest. She stretched, her breasts lifting with her arms as she greeted the sun. She rolled out of bed and put on a shirt, her nipples prominently showing through the thin fabric. She breasted boobily to the stairs, and titted downwards.”

I am unreasonably suspicious of media that markets itself as "cozy."
It just feels like a label you (or your marketing department) shouldn't be able to give your own thing. And I'm not saying one cannot try to evoke a cozy experience with one's show or book or game. But...I dunno, don't tell me how to feel about it.
Coziness is in the eye of the beholder (player/watcher/reader). People call Stardew Valley cozy, but that is blatantly false for what, half of players? I had a spreadsheet and a wiki open basically the whole time. Even as someone who likes spreadsheets, I wouldn't call that cozy.
Evil is a show with a lot of bad and scary things in it. Body horror, strained marriages, brainwashing, testing of one's faith, family betrayal, trauma, etc. But I think it's cozy. You have your little found fam going on investigations and stake outs. Stake outs are always cozy! And the shrink's kids treat Mr. Dour Skeptic like their favorite uncle, and the shrink always has shorty canned margaritas for the boys, and I'm sorry, that's just cozy.
Murder shows are widely seen as cozy, but you never hear them marketed that way. My Favorite Murder and The Brokenwood Mysteries both qualify, with their interdependent, kind, familial teams and their galleries of earnest townies/relatives.
But Columbo? I adore him so far, but he has no recurring characters that I've seen yet, and he spends the whole episode aggravating people. Not quite cozy (but wonderful).
Again, it's probably unreasonable, but I fundamentally distrust creators/teams who prioritize and claim that feeling that isn't universal and often comes about due to complex interactions and not just aesthetics.
