"Punkflower wouldn't work because Hobie wouldn't date a guy who's dad is a cop"
Why? Why do you think he wouldn't date someone who's parent is a cop?
I'm not a major Punkflower shipper, but I respect it. I find it very cute, and I think Hobie and Miles would make a great duo, even though I'm an avid lover of Ghostflower.
But, I see a lot of people trashing on Punkflower because "Miles' dad is a cop!" and "Hobie doesn't like cops!"
My guy. Jefferson's career choice and values are NOT the same as Miles' views and values!!
Hobie wouldn't discriminate on someone or judge someone based specifically on their family, because family is NOT something someone can control. Hobie and Gwen are best friends even though Gwen's dad is a cop! Hobie knows Gwen's dad is a cop, and he still chooses to let her stay with him and he chooses to be her friend and go on missions with her. Pavitr's girlfriend's dad is a cop as well, but they're still super close and the best of buddies. We don't see Hobie discriminating against Pav for loving the daughter of a cop!
So why would Hobie discriminate against Miles' solely because of his dad being a cop?
Miles himself is NOT a rule-follower. We see him doing graffiti in the subway with his uncle, sticking name-tags everywhere and directly defying his dad's orders to stop. Just because his dad is a cop, doesn't mean that he would share the same values as a cop.
PUNKFLOWER STILL STANDS! <3
Honestly if you're still hating on the ship just say that you don't like seeing black romance, cuz its giving casual racism. Y'all don't mind when people ship the most OOC ships between white characters like Draco Malfoy x Hermione Granger or Percy Jackson x Artemis but you get mad when its two attractive black guys, come on 💀.

Everyone shhh shhhut up the girls are sleeping. I don’t have anything profound to say about the possibilities of their hypothetical relationships or anything, like I usually do, sometimes I just want to draw people who have never spoken to each other taking a little rest, y’know? I like pretending they are best friends and hang out on the weekends, and they warp real-life Margo out so they can go get lunch and watch horror movies together. In my heart they are just very good buddies.
