Slay the Dragon

There’s a dragon chained underneath the tiny island, and the voice in the prince’s head says that it’s his job to slay it.

"Why?" the prince asks. "It's a creature of darkness," says the voice. "It sullies the nature of existence itself. To allow it to continue living would be a stain upon this universe." Well, the prince figures, that's as good a reason as any.

This one is more of an idea that fit multiple prompts than combined prompts, but anyway - "time loop" + "crossover" + "major character death" equals Slay the Princess, GX style!

Silly trivia: I first got exposed to StP during a Halloween stream in the queer Yugioh server. Afterward multiple people were like "...so, Judai and Yubel, right" and of course I had to write it.

Just because this is important and there are people here who play the card game here, Ebay/TCGPlayer has been partaking in extremely shitty union-busting practices, which includes

- Abruptly shutting down the authentication center where unionized employees were working at (firing hundreds of employees in the process)

- Ignoring them for over 600 days instead of making meaningful communication to work out better pay for their employees

- Hiring security to harass and intimidate the employees at the site following the closure announcement

If you are looking to buy yugioh cards, PLEASE look somewhere else aside from eBay or TCGPlayer. It may be difficult depending on where you are, but it is so important to not support them during this time!!
