"Right." She laughed a bit on her part, but smiled in return, deciding why not? It wasn't every day she got to laugh, or even smile at the least bit, so why not now? Stranger? Was that the worst he could call her? Or was that the best? Percival decided it was between worst and best. She took no hesitation at any point, speaking how she did when her own Sonic asked for her full name, which was far too long ago. "You can call me Blaze, or Percival. My preference would be Percival, although whichever is alright."
“Don’t worry about it, you’re not the first and chances are ya won’t be the last.” The hedgehog assured her flashing his trademark grin, albeit one that was lacking its usual luster. It wasn’t anything of Blaze’s doing, mind you, just a lack of proper rest on the hero’s part. Nothing to be too concerned about.
Really the only thing he was concerned about right now was what to call this alternate feline. He’d made the mistake of assuming former iron-clad alternates from Camelot held the same names as his modern day friends. Turns out he had been wrong. “So, what can I call you stranger?”

"Oh, you know my comrade: Galahad?" That just made her feel a bit more trust in this hedgehog. He was surely nice, for one, so she decided he probably wasn't too much of a threat to Camelot's kingdom. "The FUTURE?" She was surprised to hear such words.. Not even the blacksmith of the kingdom could build anything to bring anyone to the future and back, yet this hedgehog could come from the future?! "H--How?.. That sounds amazing!"
uh, ya. I kinda do look like him. *he notices her hold the shaft of the sword and let go of it.* No, I am none of those. I am from the future. *he says with a smile*

"You have no buisness at all here?" Percival carefully sheathed her blade back into it's case hanging by her waist, eyeing the other cat just as carefully. "How many strangers will turn up?..." She muttered, but didn't want to think about it in actual reasonings.
With no actual time of her's to waste, she spoke again. "What do you know of that could possibly get thou back to thy original world?"
Blaze was taken aback—- the figure appeared to be similar to herself in stature and fur color. But why, why on Earth was she wearing a weird costume? The person in question seemed to be wearing armour of some sort. That made the feline question where she was—- or rather what era she was thrown into. This wouldn’t be the first time she’s been in an unfamiliar era.
“Lord? I have no business with any Lords. I simply want to find my way back home.” Blaze had been flung into many dimensions, but she could easily say this is the craziest.

She slowly stood up again, and looked at him once more, a bit confused now. "Friends? I have allies, comrades, rivals, and knighthood.. But we've never used the word, 'Friends,' too many times, my Lord. You are just about the second person who's said that line.." Ofcourse, Sonic was the first. She wasn't sure how she should treat him, anyways.. Call jest's over him? Patrol with him? Spar with him? She didn't dare do that to a Royal. Ever. "It is normal here, So I don't understand why not? I appologize-- again-- though, if it has made you uncomfortable."
Tumblr media
“W-woah…” Manic whispered, seeing her bow before him, “There’s no need to be all formal with me, Percival.” and he smiled, “Just treat me like you treat any of your friends, okay?” The hedgehog was totally not used to actually being treated like a prince. This was, weird to him, “There’s no need to act like this, Percival, no bowing needed.”

As much as Percival would be fine with leaving the stranger to hang by all the dangers and others of her world, she would be letting her King down that way, so she knew best not to. She regripped a firm hold of her rapier's handle, still holding the blade of it out infront. "I did not mean to be a poet, or an artist, stranger. You 'are' not from.. Here, is what I'd meant. We speak that formally around here, so I appologize for you thinking I'd said the, 'art' that you mean." She lowered the blade a bit, looking at him a bit confused now. Why would he think that? She was right infront of him, anyways.. "A Fairytale is not where someone like I have come from." Hearing her name, she held her rapier down along her side, but didn't sheathe it, no. "What makes you think that, stranger?" She nodded though, letting her face-guard fall over her eyes. "But thou art correct. Blaze. Blaze Percival, but I go by Percival."
Camelot? That was a place he had never heard of. How did he end up here? Well, if he could end up in a place like Alaska, a place like this wasn’t too out of the ordinary, at least, that’s what he thought. To see a sword was… interesting. He had never seen a sword before, not a real one. He had only seen fake swords. The squirrel had been enthralled by it until her speech, which immediately had him raising an eyebrow. Thou art not? Did she mean… he didn’t draw things? That was true, but how did she know? “You’re right… ‘I art not’, and I’m not from here either…” He tilted his head. “I didn’t know people still wore things like that… it looks like something from a fairy tale… your name… wouldn’t happen to be Blaze, would it?”

"Brother. Right. Forgive me for my naivety, that word is not used around here in Camelot." She stayed blank for a moment, not realizing fully what he'd just said. She had guard-chores to think about and how to get them done, when it finally hit her. Hard. In the head. Upside. "I inquire, you are his brother?" How could a noble like herself not've noticed? She leant down on one knee, the other down flat onto the ground, respectfully lowering her head to him. Although he was not her King, he was related to him in some way, she suspected, so she must speak and show respect however..
Tumblr media
“I’m his brother.” Manic said, understanding that she might not understand his lingo. He quickly took his hand back when he saw her nod, not sure if he had done something to upset her or if she just, wasn’t one for hand shaking. “Good to meet you too, Percival.” he replied. Manic had never really been one for manners, so he didn’t really understand all of the technical terms that he was required to use in her presence.

Ah, he must've been one of the Sonic's that were not part of her kingdom! She stood upright, head still down, and visor helping hide her face. "Sincerest appologies, Sonic. You resemble my King a lot." Lovely. Juuust lovely. Now she could imagine herself meeting Sonic's over and over, niether ever a king. Such torture to never see your own kin too much. Especially the Royals and other Nobles.. She'd have everyone mixed up by the time she met them again! It was normal for someone to say, Call me ....., or, Just ....... Will do. It was just proved even now..
As if the armor wasn’t enough to tell this hedgehog that this Blaze was not one of the few he had met over the last few months, the fact she had just bowed to him and called him a king to boot was a dead give away. He was far from royalty as could be.
“Just Sonic’s fine. Besides, ya got me mixed up with someone else,” he told her levelly. It wasn’t the first time he’d been mixed up with some king or another, and she marked about the third person clad in armor he’d ran into since he started hopping around the universe.
And he was willing to bet she was from the same storybook world - Camelot, if he remembered right - as well.

"But.. How? You are identical to Sir Galahad!" She gripped the handle of her sheathed rapier tightly, shaking a bit, taking three slow steps back, but stops herself in her tracks. She didn't trust him, no. But looking like her closest friend, she couldn't walk away, ether. Loosening her grip on her blade, she had a hint of a smile on her lips. "Right. My appologies, Sir Silver." She place her right leg infront of her left, lowering to a polite bow, and lifting back. "You are no knight of any sort, nor page, not squire, are you not, Sir Silver?" She leaned her head over her shoulder, examining him a bit more as she spoke. Never trust a first glance.
oh! uh, hello there. Uh, my name is Silver. Sorry that I'm not the person you thought I was. *he says with a kind smile*

Aye, she seemed surprised as well. That could've been a good sign, or a bad sign. Percival took it as a bad sign of some kind, and brought the blade from her side to her defensive front. "I dare do ask again, Stranger!" She wasn't much like a stranger, considering their looks.. But she was still considered one for the time being. "Do you have any buisness with My Lord, or has thou ended up here without warning and choice?" It was not the time to use manners. Although mayve this cat would be as well as Percival herself, she refused to think that, and decided to keep inquiring as much as she seriously could.
Blaze had her back turned away from the trespasser— or perhaps it was the other way around. The surroundings seemed quite unfamiliar, but the feline quit hadn’t clicked yet. Only upon hearing someone call out to her did she finally get her mind into full focus—- “Hmph.” Blaze turned around, expecting to be face to face with a stranger.
But that clearly was not the case here.
“W-what?” Who was this…? And why did they look like her?

"A--Ah?.." She muttered to herself a bit. Looks like she can't trust a person how she sees them anymore, now can she.. "Triplet..... ...Bro?" She intriguently tilted her head an angle, raising an eye ridge. "That word, what does it mean?" This other worldly person would not quite fit in this society too fast if he'd always spoken to others like that.. Bro.. Anyone could've odly mistaken that for anything. With her straight-face still, her visor still off her face, she ignored his advance of friendliness and nodded her head instead. "Percival. Dame Percival, if you will." She striked a low curtsey. Yes, it was not the manner of a Dame, but it was a manner of some type. "Pleasure to meet you."
Tumblr media
Manic couldn’t help but chuckle a bit at how uptight the cat in front of him was, “Sonic?” he asked, turning around to face her, “Nah, I’m not Sonic. But I am his triplet bro.” He held out his hand to her in as friendly a manor as he could, smiling at her, “I’m Manic Hedgehog. Nice to meet you, do you have a name?”

"Galahad! Sir Galahad!" She called, running up to the hedgehog's side. She must've been mistaken, as she took another close look at him. She still asumed it was her Galahad. "Galahad, where art thy armour? Sonic might catch thou, just as I have!" Ofcourse, she was always speaking in jest to Galahads of all. Although, it always gave her this.. This off feeling when she met an alternate from another world completely, but always seemed to ignore it, and called it off as if they were from Camelot. It was always her mistake.

Did he just ask, What's So Dangerous About Being Outside? She lowered her head, shaking it all the same and staring at the ground. "What's dangerous is that anything and basically everything happens in Camelot, stranger. The dangers that people can bring are deadly." She lifted her head back up, looking him over once more, and grasping onto the handle of her blade tightly, she spoke again. "You could've had some goal here too. And surely, if you were a Child of any existence right now, you would have been taken back inside already." His question threw her off a bit, but she knew to stand her ground as a knight. She knew he did not fit here in this world already, and she now held her rapier infront of her, but not touching him, and hopefully nowhere near his comfort zone, yet. "Thou aren't from here at all, art thou not? The metal on such as myself is armour. Thou would acquire such details if thou were from here, but thou art not."
This seemed strange. It looked a lot like someone he recognized, but why was she wearing that strange… costume? Ray wasn’t really sure what it was. The squirrel shrugged at the idea of danger, placing his hands behind his back. “What’s so dangerous about being outside? I know I probably look like a child, but I’m really not, you don’t have to worry about me.” An eyebrow raised. “Where did you get those crazy metal things you’re wearing?”

Her eyes seemed to shine with joy at seeing this one familiar face, as she sheathed her blade and leant on one knee, head down and showing respects. "King Sonic! T'is wonderful to see you again. How art thou?" Ofcourse, she was being to respectful and noble to realize he did not have either the Gauntlet that her King wore, nor the sword, but definitely fit the looks of a normal Sonic. But she would bow to them all the same, anyways. She was only a Knight, to a King's or to a Stanger's position in ranks.

"King Sonic, is that you?" Her words came out a bit shakey. She could only see the back of this stranger, that gave off a bit of Sonic's image with the quils and being hedgehog-like, but what threw her off was that he was green. And didn't have his gauntlet. Nor Caliburn with him. She froze. The mistake she'd made, assuming a stranger was Sonic. Surely, she wasn't blind, or was she mistaken? With all confidence, she spoke. "Thou art not the King of Camelot, nor a citizen here. Art thou not?"

Well, this was off. There, a distance away from her, was someone who looked just like herself. Wasn't that odd? Percival drew her rapier onto her grasp and to her side, cautiously eyeing this stranger with a clear call. "Who art thou, and what buisness has thou to do here?"

Was he.. A squirrel? Why was he out when it wasn't exactly safe? "Sir, I do not see why you would require being outdoors un-accompanied and risking the dangers of basically anything..." He didn't seem to fit well as a citizen, but she decided to let it slide. She'd have to ask him that right after.. Possibly. "You might want to stay indoors, where you can be secure."
