           * heh, i dunno. you tell me. ’ what a shocker — to find someone else sharing his love of bad jokes, even on the surface. human or monster, the skeleton was willing to lend a non-existent ear and play along with such. it’d certainly be a change from screams and groans of exasperation.

            it was his time to shine. years &. years should pass &. not once had he met someone of equal taste -- someone who could well appreciate the linger of terribly sweet puns &. jokes that left lips dry &. lungs gasping for air with laughter over its stupidity. but FINALLY someone that should grasp it that would not leave a red mark over his cheek. maybe he should have wondered what bones should do standing on two feet -- but it was his time to shine.

steel marks a cold gaze, lips neither uplifting  in amusement nor hovering into a frown that marks displeasure. it’s simply stillness that rests upon her features, disgust playing behind a grit in her teeth. she couldn’t be bothered with his words – though, the mark of his grin would beg to differ as words are riled with bitter intent.
