Person A worries more than what they show to Person B. There’s this anxiety that comes from uncertainty, perhaps it also comes from not wanting to make a mistake, or not wanting to upset the other person, being overly concerned about what the other person thinks and wants. All of these worries are hidden, their demeanour doesn’t show this.

What can be seen instead, are assertiveness and openness. During conversations related to sex and during sex itself, they usually look open; they ask questions and pay attention to the other person’s responses. The way they address their worries is by getting information from the other person; ‘information’ as in, not just words, but also body language and facial expressions, and other things that can ‘inform’ them about the situation. And because they are overly concerned about the other person’s wants and how the other person sees everything related to the sexual connection, Person A is also willing to try new and different things, to explore.

It’s like someone who asks their partner, “how was it?” “do you want to try this?” “how about that?” “can we do this?” “did you like it?”. They may look confident, very much so, they may also look curious and excited (e.g. bright eyes, open and interested facial expression), and from the outside it may look like they really enjoy sex itself (e.g. excited to do more), but a lot of their ‘seeking responses’ and ‘willingness to try different things’ behaviour are coming from their worries.

That doesn’t mean they don’t enjoy the sex, they do, it’s just that two things can be true at the same time. Most of them are masculine. But those with a more feminine energy may also act more submissive at times, agreeing to everything and following the other person, especially if they think that’s what pleases the other person. But even if they have a more feminine energy, for the most part they still seek out responses from Person B (actively seeking validation, confirmation, or proof that everything is going well and that the other person is enjoying themself).

Person B: Knight of Wands, The Hierophant. The Empress, 8 of Cups. The Promise of Unending Love.

Person B is a lot more secure in themself. They have a need for passion (to feel it during sex and sexual interactions with the other person). They want to feel like they are allowed to express themself in a way that is natural for them, to be able to meet their needs in the way that they like. This person is confident and assertive (i.e. they can ask for what they want), they like to feel that fire (friction, burn, heat, lust, challenge) in a connection. But instead of them being overly excited and fiery, they are quite composed. ‘I know my value and I don’t have to prove it’ demeanour.

But of course they still want to prove it to themself; they like being listened to, they need to feel like things go their way or progress the way they like. This may cause them to do or say things that can put them in a position where they have power over the other person, where the other person ‘has’ to follow them. They probably have a domination kink, or like to be the ‘authority’, giving orders, being worshipped, making the other person wait, and so on. Whatever that can give them that feeling of power. It’s not malicious though. It can be as simple as saying “no” to the other person, just for the sake of it.

They also like making themself look more attractive to attract Person A, to test and put the other person under their influence. Like someone who grooms themself or does their hair in front of the mirror, knowing their partner is watching them. When the partner approaches them, they look unaffected and uninterested, they push the partner’s hands away, not letting the touch linger on their body; just so they get to be the person who holds the power. It’s that subtle power play outside sex or during foreplay, they like that.

There’s not much power play during fucking itself; they just follow their desires at that point. And because of their confidence, they have no issues pushing for what they want. So they can be a little persistent; e.g. they kept kissing Person A even after Person A turned their face away, or something similar. But at the same time, they don’t have much problem accepting the fact that they can’t get what they want sometimes, it won’t hurt their ego or make them insecure, basically.

Compatibility:

I think both of you are quite compatible, because both people can be assertive and seek what they want. Person A’s habit of seeking external feedback and validation from Person B matches Person B’s desire for power; Person B’s ego feeds off Person A’s style, it emboldens Person B, it makes them feel more desirable and in control. Both people are open to variety, though Person B has specific things that they like (e.g. dominance, or power play) but Person A is also open to it, so no issue there.

Person A: The Tower, 3 of Pentacles Rx. The Lovers, The Hanged Man. Confidence in The Power of Healing.

Person A has a need for intensity and disruption, they like things to be a little chaotic and disordered. It’s like a bedroom after sex; where the smell lingers, and the blanket and clothes and other knick-knacks are on the floor, skins are marked with love bites and nail marks, and so on. Because those are the proof of intensity and passion, according to them. They need to feel it, to see it. TW: rough sex, dubcon. They need to push limits and exert their will in the situation or on the other person.

It can be simple; let’s say, usually after they came back home from work, both Person A and B talked on the sofa or had dinner. But one day they just stormed into the house and grabbed the other person, kissing them hard and pushing them into the bedroom or onto the sofa. Person A likes to shake things up like that, anything that allows them to feel the intensity and aggression that they want.

They do it however they want to do it, in a way that can satisfy their needs. Since they push limits, they can also be quite experimental, trying different things and seeing what works; what feels the best to them, what gets the best reaction out of Person B, etc. They may also do things that ‘hurt’ Person B (not maliciously), e.g. spanking, manhandling, restraining and bondage, etc. Messy sex; drooling, cum dripping from their lover’s mouth while they are holding the lover by the hair, and so on.

I’m getting a more submissive vibe from Person B. Some of them move and make decisions quite slowly; the type of person who considers things deeply, waiting to get all the information first before forming an opinion about something. So they like being shown different things and being taught by Person A. They are open to being influenced by (or moulded by) Person A, and grow through this connection; they desire this. Person B may be the type of lover who likes to be ‘one’ with their partner, to let go and surrender to the connection. Some of them may also like the ‘marks’ Person A leaves on them, e.g. smelling like Person A after sex, having Person A’s cum on their thigh, etc.

But despite their openness and submissiveness, this person needs to have at least something clear to hold onto. For example, let’s say you guys were trying out a new kink. Naturally, new situations come with uncertainties. Person B wouldn’t mind those uncertainties as long as they could trust that Person A knew how to handle the situation and would lead them through it. They would be holding onto this fact regardless of what they felt about that kink. Person A: 8 of Cups, Ace of Wands. The World Rx, Knight of Wands Rx. Creating a New Self Rx.

Person A needs things to be straightforward and easy. What I mean by this is, if something doesn’t work, then it doesn’t work. Person A would like to drop it and move on to the next thing. I don’t mean a relationship, I mean whatever you guys experience in this sexual connection; e.g. kinks that don’t work, or positions, or roleplays, or techniques. Person A is all about focusing on what’s good in the sexual connection, they can’t pretend to like something when they don’t. They want to be able to address it and move on, without having to deal with the possibility of the other person taking it personally. However, I think Person A finds it difficult to be as straightforward as they would like to, which I will explain more later. But because they can’t stay in situations that are not satisfying or fulfilling for them, they still seek to meet those needs but they ‘filter’ themself a bit when they do it.

For example, they would continue what the other person started before they changed it a bit. If the other person angled their body in a way that wasn’t comfortable for them, instead of directly telling the other person “that doesn’t work” (which they wish they could do), they would shift the position themself while fucking, not making it look like the other person did it wrong. And because of how quick and smooth the change was, it just gave the impression that Person A enjoyed what Person B did but they changed it a bit simply because they sought more pleasure. Does that make sense?

For example, they would validate (e.g. moaning) Person B when Person B touched them, but at the same time they would also move Person B’s hand to the right/better spot. Some of them actually let things unfold and stay a certain way for a while. They let Person B do a particular thing several times, before they show a different way of doing it, or initiate sex the next time and make it move in the direction that they like. Either way, when Person A changes things, they do it fun-lovingly, instead of making it seem like there’s something wrong.

For Person B, I think the cards talk about a certain kink or complex that they have, that they need to experience in sex. This person has a thing for restraints, not getting what they want, a slow torture. So either they seek to be put in that situation, or they want to put Person A in that situation, or both. It can be as elaborate as creating a situation where they have to control themself psychologically and physically from grabbing the other person and indulging their lust. It can be as simple as orgasm denial. But it will happen, it will be expressed in most (if not all) sex that they have, whether Person A notices it or not. It may not be obvious since it’s mostly psychological, especially early in the relationship when Person B feels like they can’t openly indulge the desire. Person B controls themself well around Person A; not letting themself express their needs in an extreme or dirty way (despite wanting it).

Like I said, that could happen early in the connection. Person B acts like a gentleman/lady at first, very patient and considerate, appropriate and reliable, they may also act pretty mild and normal during sex. Not only a mutual give and take connection, where both people are committed to fulfilling each other’s needs, but also something established, at least emotionally. Because Page of Cups is in reverse, Person A isn’t really the kind of person who can cope with wishy-washy or go-with-the-flow type of connection.
