I don't understand how people are becoming tired of genocide. I barely see anyone talk about Palestine anymore and so many people have stopped even boycotting when right now is when Palestinians need the most support. It's always been getting worse. No food has entered Gaza in over 70 days and the price to get even one can of food is incredibly high. @iyadsgaza and his family consist of 10 people, several of whom are children and Iyad and his wife are elderly.
They need food. Please consider donating and please share this post. Their last donation was 5 days ago.

“What an age! Every one is dying, everything is dying, and the earth is dying also, eaten up by the sun and the wind. I don’t know where I get the courage to keep on living in the midst of these ruins. Let us love each other to the end.”
George Sand to Gustave Flaubert, 1870

I heard about this earlier but this is phenomenally good news because a lot of these manuscripts hold palestinian intellectual history dating back centuries and my friends who work in the Islamic book history field believed these all to be gone

This is heartbreaking.
This harsh weather is expected to last for the next 30 to 40 days as part of the rainy season in Gaza.
The Sameer Project is fundraising to provide families in the south of Gaza with tents and tarps but most importantly, since tents can't really protect against the cold, the team is looking to buy hats, baby clothes, gloves and blankets to distribute in the area. I encourage you all to donate and/or share their donation link or their social posts.

Power to the people ✊ Yesterday, Dutch police bulldozed the Gaza encampment at the University of Amsterdam. Today, students and staff confronted police and forced them to retreat. Videos: X: Qudsnen and Mariyankhan

This elderly woman was one of the leaders of demonstrations against the Vietnam War in 1968, when she was a student at Columbia University. Today, 56 years later, she returns to the same place and says, "Palestine must be free."

Her name was Saly, she was five years old. She was like any child, she probably liked to play with her toys, she was probably learning to read, she probably like to spend time with her family and friends.
Maybe she would have been a doctor, or a farmer, or a engineer. Maybe she would have advanced the field of physics or medicine, written a best seller novel or stared in a major movie production; Or she might have had a quieter life, the world might have never known her name, but her friends and family would have and that might have been enough.
But no one will ever know now because Israel took those lives away from her, the tens of thousands of possibles that lay before each child burning like candle lights in cool summer night sniffed out in an instant. A last story shared by thousands of Palestinian children in Gaza.

i think its so funny that alumni from schools like harvard and columbia that were there during the protests in the 60s-80s are expressing support for students currently protesting against the genocide in palestine, and random zionists that were NOT at these protests in the 60s-80s have the never ending audacity to tell these alumni "well thats different, what you protested was good and what they're protesting is bad." as if protesters against the vietnam war and apartheid south africa were not also demonized, arrested, brutalized, and even killed for their activism. history only remembers them fondly after the damage has already been done.
