Treats Incoming!

As you may remember from the FAQ, we are doing treats for this exchange! If you're unfamiliar, treats are extra little bonus fanworks that anyone can make for anyone else, based on any of their requests. Treats don't have size/length requirements - they're just for fun!

treats must still respect the recipient's DNWs and be for one of their requested 1) fandoms and 2) characters or relationships

you do not have to be participating in the exchange to create treats 

if you are participating in the exchange, please do not post treats to the collection until after you've submitted your assigned exchange work 

treats must be posted on or before September 16

We'll be making requests public a little later today for anyone who thinks they might be interested in making treats!

Sign-ups for the first annual BL Exchange are now open!

Sign-ups will be open from today, June 30th, until 11:59pm Bangkok time on July 10th (what time is that for me?).

There were 34 different fandoms added to the tag set during our nominations; you can find the complete list of them, as well as the characters and relationships that were nominated, here!

Sign-ups will open tomorrow! For the meantime, here's a few quick reminders about some key pieces of info:

You can offer/request fic, art, a vid, or podfic for this exchange!

You'll be able to make three requests & three offers.

We do ask that you request at least two fandoms & that at least one of your requests is for fic. (If you're only familiar enough with one fandom to request it, please get in touch with us about an exception!)

The minimum word count for fic is just 1k, & we've tried to make the requirements for other kinds of fanworks comparably manageable.

This exchange will be run through AO3; if you need an AO3 invite, please shoot us a DM & we can help with that!

Remember, sending in nominations does not obligate you to participate in the exchange. So don’t feel like you have to wait to send in nominations until you’re sure if you’ll sign up for the exchange! Just send ‘em in, and worry about sign ups later on down the road.

We’re happy to announce that the wheels are turning on this year’s BL Exchange! Here’s our schedule for the next few months. Fandom nominations will run from May 30-June 25, so start brainstorming some to throw into the hat!
