She sputters at his response, features scrunching as she's so lovingly assaulted with kisses, a little caught off-guard. The rubbing and scratching of his back is paused and the corners of plush lips twitch, no sooner do they curve upwards as she erupts in soft giggles. Miya holds him close, letting him shower her in kisses despite her aversion to the 'cute' comment.

"Alright... alright. I see your point," she says, but makes no actual attempts at interrupting, her laughter subsiding as quickly as it had started. "But I suppose that makes two of us~"

He was definitely enjoying where they ended up even though he was sure he could probably use a walk. But--

"It's not fair because you're cute and pretty and I just wanna kiss you."

And instead of the kiss he had given her before, he began peppering her face all over with little smooches.

            Astonishment colors soft features, painting round cheeks a rosy hue, her surprise easily reflected in honeyed amber as her eyes widen a fraction. Se-yeon had been exceptionally busy as of late, running her small bakery at a near-frenzied pace as she tried desperately to boost sales and bring customers a unique experience with new featured treats each week. Needless to say, she had been running herself into the ground. Least of all, Jumin's visit near closing time hadn't been expected -- he has a fairly strict routine and her bakery wasn't exactly on the way to his penthouse.

            As they sat across from each other at one of many tables, the traffic having died down and the main room now empty, she was finally able to breathe. But Jumin is observant and he had noticed her change of pace, perhaps even her demeanor... but there was no way he knew about the recent visit from her estranged father.

            Se-yeon had never been good enough for him, no matter how far she stretched herself or what she accomplished, and each visit is a just another harsh slap from the reality that is the reason for their estrangement. Even so, it pushes her to work harder, to impress him, to meet his standards despite the fact she repeats to herself that she doesn't care. Se-yeon desperately wished to prove him wrong.

            The words she craved to hear would never come from her father, she knows that all too well. Although...

            Jumin's reassurance was unexpected, but certainly caught her attention. After everything they had been through with the RFA among other things, she was most grateful for the bonds she'd forged and the friends she'd found in an entirely unintentional way. A grateful smile graces glossy lips, perhaps the only genuine expression of joy she's expressed all week, the corners of her eyes crinkling slightly as she gazes into the coffee cup between small hands, rough from hard work.

            "Thank you, Jumin... for saying the words I needed to hear."

"No, not particularly," she chuckles, adjusting her own position to fit snugly against him. She hadn't actually planned to return to lying down and snuggling, considering they had only just risen from a nap, though it's definitely where they'd ended up. "But it was a satisfying result, to say in the least~"

Her arms relax, draped over his shoulders and resting on his upper back. She alternates between rubbing soothing circles into his spine and lightly, slowly scratching on the outside of his shirt. A hum sounds from her, the tip of her nose nudging at the side of his face, warm breath tickling his ear.

"However, I don't see how this isn't fair to you, being quite spoiled like this -- unless you were wanting me to pamper you more~."

Noticing the way she tugged, he allowed himself to lay on her properly, moving them both so they were stretched out on the couch and cuddling his face against her shoulder.

"That's also not fair." How could she act cute like that so easily? "Was this your goal all along, hm? You can tell me."

He was going to tease, of course.
