I haven’t used this account in years. It was tied a time that I wasn’t able to be myself. I wasn’t able to act like I wanted to. I wasn’t able to think about anyone besides her. She was my world and everyone saw what that was and I was blind. I was blind to the manipulation. I was blind to the flirting behind my back. I was blind to the fact that it wasn’t my decision to have a threesome. I was blind to everything. I shrugged things off because I didn’t want my world to change. But during this time I know I wasn’t the perfect person either. I picked fights to have some sort of communication. I was jealous constantly. I had trust issues. I wasn’t perfect, I was toxic too. I see that.
I’m glad I’m grown from that. I’m glad I went through that pain and heartbreak. After that point I was at my lowest. I was alone. I had a new place, in a new state, a shitty roommate, and no one beside me in bed. And then a few months later, I found the one. The one that taught me what love was supposed to look like. That showed me how open lines of communication worked. How fights should look like. Because don’t get me wrong those fights happen, I still pick fights (I’m trying). But I know that my partner won’t kick boxes at me or slap me in the face when I go to kiss her. I know that at the end of the day my fiancé will do everything to get us back to good.
Looking back on this account brings conflicting memories and emotions. I mourn that time, I mourn the relationship, I mourn that part of college. But I can see that it’s helped me develop into being happier. Seeing what I deserve, seeing how I effect others, seeing love should grow and shine, seeing how even if I’m jealous I know that her love for me never fails.

Ryann was kicking herself for running late. She ran the entire way home. She looked at her watch seeing it was 5:02, she took the stairs 3 at a time. By 5:05 she had made it up the 4 flights of stairs. Taking a breath to collect herself she opened the door and called out for Bailey. “Babyyyy. Where are you?” She hollered, smelling the lovely dinner

Ryann felt her phone buzz in her back pocket while training the new recruits on the proper technique to distribute weight in their packs. Turning away from the recruitments, she reached into her phone and sent Bailey a quick text.
[text: darlin] hey gorgeous. you better be wearing that when I get home 😍

“Oh you’ll see battle. You shouldn’t be fighting but still” Ryann said
Flowers of Deployment
Ryann had gotten the news while in France, she would be heading home soon. She was missing her country dearly after the three months of open sea. After being in the south of France this past week, she was slowly falling in love with the scenery. She looked out her motel window and packed her things once again. After arriving back home, she was giddy from the moment she landed. Ryann had never lost her Boston accent while overseas. She knew who she had to see first. Still wearing her Navy uniform she made it to a flower shop to grab flowers. She was then hit with the pungent aroma of lily’s and lilacs. Ryann couldn’t hold back her sneezing.

“I love you” Ryann said curling into Baileys chest. “Just don’t be stupid over there please. Please come home to me” She said quietly

“But you won’t be safe there” Ryann said leaning back letting bailey have room. “How can I stay not knowing your safety? I promised you to be your protector forever.” Ryann sniffed loudly. “I can’t perfect you over there”

Ryann couldn’t muster a word so she brought bailey to the bed and laid down to cuddle for the last time.

Ryann stood tall and held baileys hand. With a little squeeze she brought bailey back to the house and picked her up. Ryann couldn’t hold the tears back and nuzzled her head into Baileys neck.
