Listen I enjoy the shows for what they are, they're decent, they're okay, but even as someone who doesn't hate Hazbin, calling Vaggie's unfortunate name something that leads to "character depth" is just... 😭 A misogynistic Adam named her that because he loves pussy. Wow. Great. Fucking awe inspiring. That's such a deep backstory.

The character designs aside, I guess the big reason I can't take the whole Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss franchise seriously is because its sense of humour feels like it's written by and for people who thought this guy was the height of sophisticated comedy:
