Black Altars of Hatchetfield
I've been thinking about the altars and their relationship with the lords. Since there are five altars, maybe the Waylons set it up to have one for each Lord. Maybe that's why when the nerds invoked the names, it was Wiggly doing the talking.
The Starlight Theatre
Pokotho is probably the easiest to link to this black altar. He sent his meteor there, it's where his big finale went down, it's all about performing.
CCRP
While this could be viewed as the T'noy Karaxis altar, due to everything that happened in Time Bastard, I think this altar belongs to Bliklotep. It started life as the Hatchetfield Gazette which seems like it would be right up his street, watching everything that's going on, hearing about all the secrets of Hatchetfield. And while, maybe, he relinquished the altar after it was taken over by CCRP, no one knows exactly what CCRP does. But we do know, they produce clones and androids which looks like residents of the town. This would certainly keep things interesting for Blinky? And part of the name of CCRP is Research. Much like the Gazette, this implies they have some focus on information gathering through various means. And much like a scientist, Blinky likes to observe how things play out.
The Waylon Place
I think this one is for Nibblenephim. He is the only one of the lords that the starry children are shown worshiping. And what's his whole deal? Consumption, hunger, all wrapped up in a body of dead parts. The Waylons were certainly happy to consume Hatchetfield into their web, they hungered for power and they put a spell on the house to make dead become alive again. Not just dead either. We see from Max dead body parts reform, just like the dead pigs Nibbly puppets.
The Lakeside Mall
This could be assigned to Wiggly given the events of Black Friday take place there but this is another place that started life in a different form. The Old Mill. Wiggly is about wrath. The mill doesn't seem like it would be that tempting for him. But you know who might have been drawn in? Tinky. A mill symbolises an endless cycle, no matter what kind of mill it but in this interpretation say instead of a windmill it's powered by water (since it's apparently by the lake). Water churning, always churning. You know what else there is about mills? The fact that they're probably quite dangerous to work at if not careful. A small mistake, suddenly a life is destroyed. Kinda like what a little yellow box does. Maybe I'm talking gibberish but I think the mill's symbolism works better for Tinky. And chances are he got distracted by Spankoffskis and just let Wiggly have the mall for his whole thing.
🐙: can I use the mall? I want to play
🐐: whatever. I got Teddys to torture
The School
Finally we come to Hatchetfield High. I think this works as a seat of power for Wiggly. He's the one in charge when he's summoned which might be because people consider him the eldest but think about all the different emotions teenagers go through. Think about Max and his anger as he hunts nerds, even before he dies and becomes the embodiment of revenge. Maybe he's not entirely to blame. He can see the audience, he can control elements of the stage. Maybe Max has a touch of the gift and it means that Wiggly's influence is just that much stronger on him. Kyle even says about one negative influence having a profound impact. Wiggly is helping provide that influence.

my friend guesses scooby doo movie titles
so my friend @theomoment is unfamiliar with most scooby doo movies. one time they tried to mention the sword and the scoob, and ended up calling it “scooby doo: the one with the knights”. then we did this thing where i showed them a scooby doo movie cover with the title blanked out, and they would have to come up with a title for it. enjoy!!

THREAD BREAKING DOWN MONSTER TYPES FROM MY SCOOBY-DOO MONSTER SPREADSHEET
Aliens: 57.14% of all 7 Instances are Real. Most common motive was a tie between Kidnapping and World Domination.

Monsters that are Extraterrestrial in nature!! Notable instances include the Spooky Space Kook and Star Creature listed above. They have a fairly wide range of looks, though the real ones are of the little green men variety. The book actually lists the Future Monster in the same category, but I opted to not include that one as it wasnt from a different planet so much as a different time.
Animals: 22.22% of all 9 Instances are Real. Most Common Motive was Espionage.

Just animals, more sapient or monstrous than usual, but without humanoid traits, or ones that make them resemble other more common monster categories. These tend to be in the Scrappy era for some reason, and Apes are the most common sort of animal to show up, making up 1/3 of instances.
Anthro Animals: 12.5% of all 8 Instances are Real. Most Common Motive was High Value Object Theft.

An animal with some sort of humanoid feature. I usually mark these as being bipedal when they shouldnt be, as well as having an upright posture and human limb arrangement. (some of the just Animals and Multiples with animal elements are occasionally bipedal, but are much more animal and so didnt feel right to be in here)

Creepy Heap from the deep gets special mention for being some weird combination of crab, seaweed, fish, and human. I kinda just put him here cause nothing else fit.
Animated Objects: 25% of 4 Instances are Real. Most Common Motive is Monetary Theft.

An object that's come to life!! 2 of these are just mannequins, with the only one not listed being the Helping Hand from the Addams Family episode. These kind of cross over with the Ghost category, but I seperate it mainly because most of the ghosts arent possessing an object, but rather just exist as is. I could be swayed on the mannequins as they're refered to as possessed, but its not entirely clear if its a ghost or demon thing theyre being percieved as. Kind of a weird category I guess but its all arbitrary at some point.
