l am want to ask you the appearance of the OCs in NOCC .How are they like?

There are a lot. I'll try to do the greatest hits. Adm. Renata Marin: she's below average height--like 5'4" or so--and has long, brown/black hair. She has almond-shaped dark eyes and arching, dark eyebrows and a widow's peak hairline. She's stocky but muscular, and kind of "thick" in both hips and chest. She has olive-toned skin, and a rounded face, but I wouldn't call her overly attractive. She's normal looking, and her nose is a bit large for her face.

Gregory Stukov: tall and lithe, but one of those people who is long torso'd but has normal legs--like a soccer player. His skin is almost translucent white and his cheeks turn red with any exertion. Has a very effective pout because of his cupid's bow lips. His eyes are large and green, and he's almost white-blond. He's an Alexander Skarsgaard type, but less severe features. He's still very young.

Capt. Carolyn Dauphin: Short. Lol. Like 5'0". Almost wasn't allowed into the military short. Mousey brown hair, large forehead with bangs, wears her hair in a braided ponytail most of the time. Chubby face with a cute, upturned nose. Average build, neither fat nor thin. Expressive and large hazel eyes. A few freckles. Thick but rounded eyebrows and long but brown lashes. Very small mouth. Katie Dean: Tall for a woman. Like, 5'11". Tousled sandy-blonde hair, parted down the middle that almost goes to her shoulders. Lots of freckles. Perennially tan somehow. Wide mouth that i almost always open with also big-but-perfect teeth except for a gap in the front. Blue eyes that are very round and look perpetually bewildered. White eyebrows that are not visible. Enormous hands and feet.

Shin Yu-jun or "Eugene Shin": Stocky, around 5'8". Very close-cropped grey hair, widow's peak. Weathered looking. One of his eyes is white (he's blind in one eye) and has a scar going across it that cuts into his eyebrow. Thin lips. Perennially frowning. Never clean shaven.

These are the main ones I can think of, but if you'd like more of the Uhuru crew or the zerg, let me know.

Did I stay up until 2am because I was obsessed with finishing this monstrosity?

I had a conversation about two months ago with someone about how I'm so anal about having high detail, correct references to the point I rip character models out of the game and then inspect them in Blender in ridiculous detail, even tho I know I don't have the skill level to make use of that resource.

And then it devolved into "why don't you make your own 3D model refs for harder angles" and I disregarded that at first, but then remembered that yeeeeeeears and years ago, I used to do the same thing for a comic I made in the past and of how helpful it was. And given I already had Blender anyway, I thought I might give it a try again.

My old college professor would strangle me if he saw this. There's tons of amateurish mistakes and it definitely isn't something that could be used in any way other than a rough reference for tougher angles, but that was. Kinda the point of this. It was still a lot of fun to make.
